I love coming over to Aldershot to walk my dog at LaSalle park. A beautiful park throughout the year, there is always something to admire as the seasons change. The photos from this dreary foggy winter afternoon do not do justice to the beauty. The trails along the bluff wander through a stand of huge old trees and down along the shore of the harbour. Along the path you're bound to see (and probably photograph) ducks, geese, and swans. Although not a large park, LaSalle is packed with things to do. A large playground, baseball diamonds, an outdoor pool and splash pad, an event space (the pavilion), trails, and a marina.

LaSalle Park is such a gem. Across the bay from steel mills etc is a piece of North country dropped into city. Bring peanuts and bird seed you will need it lol.

I love coming here with my little princess and taking her for a walk down to the beach and along the boardwalk. She likes all the birds and enjoys all the smells along the trail!! One of her favorite places to go for a walk.

So much variety here. Watch the birds, ducks, swans, chipmunks or the boats in the Harbour. Bring down a fishing rod too. Little trails and boardwalks, great for kids.
