    I went in this store to get a couple of rings which I had looked on the website earlier that day. I knew the price and find what I was looking for. The rings were beautiful and I was happy to buy them. They lady showing the rings confirmed the price as was on the website. But later about 30 minutes into selecting colors for same ring when the time came to checkout the lady informed me that the price had changed and increased to a much higher price that was even more than the before sale price as per on their website. N not sure what's going on. I had to leave the store without buying them.

    Terrible experience .. jewelery purchased fell apart and all they said was we shoulda bought warranty... No force used on the earrings and the opal just falls out, luckily we caught it. Called customer care and they said store shoulda been able to do something .. store owners ask is to call customer service. Honestly buyer beware.. better jewellery stores out there now with better quality. $300+ items shouldn't just fall apart by turning your head and sitting there.. and turns out one of the set of earrings bought weren't even real opal they were synthetic.

    slow customer service. we came in to return something. stood in line for 15 minutes only to be told "service was at a first come first serve basis" and to "please have a seat". and then see that someone who came in after us was getting helped before us. While we waited, the same guy we were originally waiting in line for asked if we had been helped yet. we answered no, and he said OK, and then walked away. no organization for this "first come first serve" rule. staff basically ignored us. and the kicker, their system was down and we couldn't return the item. they could have told us that instead of telling us to have a seat as we had already informed them we were there for a return. amazing. will not ever go here again as their items are also overpriced :)

    Had an appointment booked to pick up an engagement ring twice in the past week. Original appointment was booked over the phone with a sales rep. First time they were closed, but workers were cleaning up for a renovation. Asked to pick up the ring as I had an appointment and the manager said they were closed and I would have to come back later. Was told they would reopen the next day (Thursday) or Friday at the latest. Stopped in Saturday for my original appointment and they were still closed and a security guard said they would be open Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Now on Tuesday they are still not open and I have still been unable to pick up the ring. Horrible customer service as they have never once called to inform me of their change of hours nor did they bother to cancel my original appointment with them. Would have expected far better service.

    One star is being generous here, but it won't let me do no stars. I have never been so disgusted with a stores customer service in my life. I dropped my ring of in June to have a stone replaced, I was told due to covid it would take three months, and I was understanding. However when those three months were up and I heard nothing is when the issue arrived. First, the employees specifically told me and my fiance different things, two, the store missed putting down one piece of information, so in those three months nothing had actually happened. And when we asked why they did not own up to their mistake. I received very little communication, they completely disregarded what I said in the communication we did have, and when I finally talked to the manager, that's what absolutely ruined this store for me. I have been a retail manager for years, I know how you speak to customers, and the manager at this location has no idea how to speak to his customers. First, he intrupted me when I spoke, then he told me I was wrong, and to top it off he told me to "just wait it out" in his opinion. You do not argue with your customers, that is basic customer service, you do not speak over or intrupt your customers, again, basics of customer service. And you don't tell me to just wait it out when it's not 5 months and you can not tell me where my ring is. Yes that is right, my ring was lost and I was told to just wait it out. I have NEVER been spoken to like that before, I have never gotten such bad service. It sucks as I buy all my jewelry from people's, but after this experience I will not go back. You do not lose an engagement ring and basically blame it on the customer. If I were you, I'd take my money else where.

    Do NOT buy your diamonds from these crooks!!! They sell cracked / chipped diamonds without full disclosure during the original sale, then don't honour the "lifetime warranty" they conned you into purchasing when you bought your diamond! "Blemishes are a natural part of any diamond". Time to take them to court, report them to the BBB.

    Words cannot express how happy we are with the experience we received at Peoples Jewellers Metrotown location! Bachr and Ash were so helpful and patient through it all! They took the time to help us find my dream engagement ring and wedding band. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for the perfect ring.

    My experience with People Jewelry has been absolutely awesome. Sophia helped me with my neck piece and did my fixing chain done right. She is absolutely warm hearted and helpful. Recommend this shop to everyone if you want to go for gold or rings. Get assistance from Sophia she will help you right way perfectly.

    Some of the most incompent jewellers I have ever dealt with. I needed my ring resized for my wedding and it keeps coming back incorrectly. The woman Ash has been entirely ineffective and rude. As I'm trying to explain things she kept cutting me off and not listening to what I needed. Now I'm a couple weeks away from my wedding, and I still don't have a properly fitting ring. I love my ring but I regret getting it from them.

    We had an amazing experience with Sophia. My fiancé and I were just at the mall getting food when we walked in to get his ring size, Sophia helped us get his size and made some great recommendations. We found ones we loved but told her we wanted to think about it. She followed up with us when they were on sale a couple days after. We made the purchase and it was a easy and stress free experience. Our rings arrived just a couple days after and we are in love!

    People's de-activated my Gift Card and I have talked to several Rep's on the Chatline and get thrown from one Agent to another without any getting the matter resolved and they just disconnect the Chatline. Very poor customer service,

    Sophia at Metropolis mall outlet has been great with helping us out to get the perfect wedding ring. She made the whole ring buying process smooth and made sure we got the ones that we had chosen. Definitely recommend Peoples Jewellers and come see Sophia!

    I'm sure they do a fine job here with everything but I just drove over here today and found that it was shutdown for renovations. Had a work to be done scheduled. Next step: drive all the way over across the city for the next location. Very nice *not*!!

    Since Peoples in Park Royal closed down, I have been to the Metrotown location to upgrade my wedding ring. Jessica was so amazing in helping us out - she didn’t mind spending the time to find the exact piece I was looking for. Jessica has awesome customer service.

    i purchased an engagement ring online, and wedding band. I didn’t choose the extended warranty and I fully expected to pay for the ring to be resized due to that When I got to the store I was told the stone was loose I was disappointed to also pay for that But When I get to the store to pick my rings up: the manager met me, and!! Comped the entire bill! Not what I was expecting at all I’ll be honest. I was not happy to pay for the stone prong fix, but peoples went above and beyond my expectations I’ve purchased a few important pieces there and I’ll continue to make peoples my jewelry choice

    I was extremely pleased with the service at the jewelry store, thanks in large part to the attendant Myrna. She was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my visit.     Nila went above and beyond in her excellent service while helping my mom and I on Black Friday. I was delighted to find a salesperson who does not use high pressure sales. She helped explain all the details and options available to us with no pressure, and I feel confident that I received the best price for the items purchased.     Alex was amazing! He helped me order the yellow gold band that I really wanted (out of stock in store). The store had 10k gold and I really wanted 14k. He took his time explaining the process of resizing and polishing and care for the gold. He also cleaned my diamond wedding band. Thank you so much Alex! I can’t wait to pick up my ring.

    Went there an hour before closing time, just looking around while my husband waited for me outside the store. Ash was very helpful and patient in looking for the earrings that I would really love. I asked my husband to join me and we kept on looking around for other items. It took us past 7pm (beyond closing time) to finish the transaction but Ash was telling us not to rush and try to find the jewelry that we really like. The Manager was helpful as well in assisting Ash with the process. We eventually purchased three items because of Ash's excellent service.

    I purchased a gold necklace which eventually had a link break, it was sent for repairs under the lifetime warranty purchased but was deemed unrepairable. The manager Alex was excellent working with me to get a replacement. I I longer wanted another necklace so he worked me to get 5 different earrings for my daughter equal to the value of my necklace. Great customer service.

    Fantastic service here. Myrna was such a big help in finding the ring I wanted and getting to me and at a great price. Alex the manager and Myrna we even more Fantastic in rushing a size change for me so I had the ring, at the right size, before I left on a trip which I had planned a surprise proposal. My entire plan hinged on all of this coming together during this trip and both of these terrific people helped make sure it happend.

    Went today on Valentine’s Day to buy something with my fiancée…when we arrived was already lots of people waiting because were only 2 ladies working…yes only 2 ladies because the manager spent more than 40 minutes talking with who appeared to be one of his buddies,while the 2 girls were trying to do their best to help All the people we’re waiting…lots of people left because they lost their patience seeing the manager didn’t care of the rest of the customers… Ash helped us…she was great and she apologized for the inconvenience ( the waiting) 5 stars for her! But for sure today that store lost lots of revenue and credibility in customer service…5 stars to ash (not for the store) and -5 stars to the manager.

    I was served by the attendant called Ash in the metrotown store. I have lived in 5 different countries and i buy Jewellery for my wife and myself. I have never been treated with so much hospitality as I was treated by her. She is not just good at her job but is genuinely kind and really cares about your experience whilst shopping at the store.

    I just wanted to thank Jessica Ng at People's Jewellers Metrotown for her great customer service in helping me buy an engagement ring! I don't have much experience in buying rings and diamonds. She explained what I should be looking for. I asked to see so many rings and styles, but she was always supportive and encouraging. She answered all my questions, and we were able to narrow down the selection to the "one". I can't thank her enough for making this process easy and enjoyable. I know I'll ask for her help in future purchases. I highly recommend you ask for Jessica when looking for jewelry.     My fiance and I bought our wedding rings online (u.s.a store) a month ago. Sadly we're very disappointed of the outcome once we received it (ring sizes not correct/design looks different from pictures). We've got so little time since our wedding is in mid May! So we decided to return it and get a full refund! That's when I quickly went to People's Jewelry Metrotown. Now, without expectations---JESSICA NG gave me the best customer service experience! She's so helpful, lots of patience, very kind, a lovely lady and knowledgeable on what she does!!! I've learned a lot more about rings/stones through her! Ofcourse, we managed to purchased our wedding rings. We'll be getting it a week before our big day! Thank you so much JESSICA NG for making it possible!!!

    Great customer service from Ash. She took the time and explained everything I needed to know. Even though I did not buy at my first visit, she looked more and find more options for me. She helped me to narrow down the options and ended up with the great choice. I'm hoping to see here when we go back for wedding band and our anniversary shopping in years to come.
