FDL
is
a
cute
cafe
located
in
Burnaby
that
serves
coffee
drinks,
latte’s
of
many
types,
along
with
both
sweet
and
savoury
treats
to
satisfy
your
pallet.
I
got
the
oat
milk
cortado
and
fruit
danish,
while
I
also
tried
my
friends
double
baked
almond
croissant
with
chocolate
and
Nutella
cake.
First
off,
coffee.
I’d
say
it
was
decent,
not
my
favourite
coffee
roasters
but
enough
to
get
the
caffeine
kick
and
go
well
with
the
sweets.
To
clarify,
it
wasn’t
bad,
it
was
pretty
average.
Next
up,
sweets!
The
fruit
danish
was
delicious,
I
loved
how
flakey
the
pastry
was
and
how
it
wasn’t
too
sweet
-
it
paired
well
with
the
cortado!
It
was
also
quite
refreshing
and
light.
The
nutella
cake
was
a
bit
more
indulgent,
but
didn’t
have
a
strong
nutella
vibe,
moreso
like
a
rich
chocolate
cake
-
it’s
dangerously
good,
but
more
of
a
heavy
tret.
Lastly,
the
almond
croissant
with
chocolate
could’ve
been
better.
I
felt
the
pastry
wasn’t
as
buttery
and
flakey
as
I
liked
it
to
be.
I
think
it
was
a
combination
fo
flavour
and
texture
that
was
off,
so
I
personally
wouldn’t
recommend
it.
Overall,
this
is
deifnitely
a
cafe
I’d
come
back
to
if
I
want
decent
food
or
sweets
with
my
coffee.
It’s
quite
busy
throughout
the
day,
but
I
can
understand
why.
It’s
a
great
place
to
catchup
with
friends,
but
a
bit
too
loud
to
study.
I
like
the
ambiance
as
it
has
lots
of
shared
seating
and
on
a
sunny
day,
the
sun
shines
through
and
just
adds
to
the
vibe.
The
price
of
the
pastries
are
pretty
fair
as
well.
