I was waiting for my hotel check-in time and decided to check this place out. Fantastic service and such a peaceful environment. All waiters spoke English( which is hard to find in Istanbul) and joked around. After the meal they saw me waiting ( basically I was just killing time) and offered me tea on the house. Colour me impressed ! (Felt the true Turkish hospitality ❤️🇹🇷) I would really recommend this place. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious 👌

Solid restaurant! The prices are similar to any big city in the West (~15-20 dollars per person). The service was warm and friendly. The one thing I didn't like was the windows being wide open at night. The occasional smell of cigarettes and car exhaust (from cars passing by) was a bit off putting.

It might look like a tourist trap, but don’t get mistaken… the food is absolutely delicious and their iskender kebab the best we had on this trip. Staff extremely attentive, only in a good way. We were very grateful we found this place.

Suchhhhh a great restaurant with incredible service! We sat on the patio and it was heated, we ordered a few dishes and drinks. Everything was really tasty and the vibes were so nice. It was my last day in Istanbul and we went to this place for dinner and had great time. The whole street is filled with restaurants and everyone wants to pull you in so was difficult to choose, fortunately we chose this and loved it. The food, the place, the atmosphere is just perfect and have amazing vibes. We ordered shrimps in butter which turned out to be one of the best shrimps i have had. We ordered the famous Pottery kebab which was both a joy to see and eat. For dessert we choose baklava which was okish and for drinks we had cosmopolitan and some beer. Cosmopolitan was a bit on lighter side. The overall experience and the service was perfect and the staff were pretty friendly. A good place with good music and food

The close proximity of the restaurant to Topkapi Palace made it an easy choice for a meal after touring the museum. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in my entire trip across Turkey, the prices are not the lowest, but the quality food, seating and service make it worth it without a doubt. I ordered a clay pot kebab, which came with a show I wasn't expecting but definitely enjoyed, and the complimentry tea was very well done.

I know that the restaurant has very good reviews and this is the reason for which we went to eat here. Because we arrived at around 10 pm, our experience here was not great however, in comparison to other turkish restaurants. The food was ok but we ate better at almost all the other restaurants at which we went. After we finished our main meals, one of my friend ordered kunefe, we waited around 25 minutes (we know that it takes 15-20 min for the kunefe to be done), and when we asked about the status, the waiters said that he forgot to pass the order to the kitchen. It as already almost 12 so we decided to not wait anymore and leave . The waiter was nice and he apologised and we got Tea and baklava frok the house. The overall experience was not bad, but taking the prices in cobsideration and the experiences which we had on the other restaurants in our one week stay, i can only offer 3 stars.

I had lunch here with my husband 2 days ago and I ordered Adana kebab. The food is tasty and delicious, then I ordered kunafeh and rice pudding for dessert its SOOOO GOOOD. The owner & restaurant team is sooo kind too, they offered free turkish tea & baklava for us and before we left they gave me small nazar boncuk charm🥺💗💗 definitely worth it.. the place is comfortable as well. 🩷🇹🇷

That very touristic restaurant, hospitsable personal, but sometimes trying a bit too much to convince you to come inside. Had some small appetizers and desert (baklava) from home. Sunday at launch hour it was almost empty. Launch served “on fire”. The food is good, but not excelent. Price are higher than others because of the central area. Overall it was a good experience. A bit overpriced, but tasty lunch in the heart of the city (located close to Hagia Sophia). Hot starters were very good (we had a grilled haloumi and stuffed pastrami rolls) and main dishes were decent. Service is polite and fast, though I did not like they keep calling tourists passing the street to come for lunch.

Been here with my mum for a coffee but the food looked so good that we had to order it. We ate kebab from pottery - amazing! Also, they brought us some delightful bread and ate baklava on the house! Prices normal. Atmosphere very authentic! I really recommend this place.

Great service, delicious food. We received tea and baklavas on the house. But I we had 400lira tax on the check. I didn't understand if it was a general tax or if we only had it because we were foreigners. In most places I received this fee, except for one place on the Asian side. You kind of pay for your things from the house if this is a "foreigner's tax"

Chanced upon this place tucked away in a corner off the main street. Nice ambience, great relaxing atmosphere. Food is tasty, and the staff are very friendly. We were offered free dessert and tea to end off our hearty dinner. A great place to chill out after visiting the Blue Mosque and Agia Sofia..

Very delicious the food! I had the spicy turkish kebap with french fries instead of rice and was amazing. You have to pay the service at the end with 10% but worth it. They give you hot turkish pita with some olives as starter and free tea with baclava at the end. Place is nice and not so crowded. Employees are funny and very responsive. Was a nice launch and we paid for 4 persons around 1800 TL (food + drinks + service).

Chanced upon this cosy restaurant while on our way to the great bazaar. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The portion of food was huge and importantly tasty.

We got a lunch in this restaurant and it was fantastic! After one week of trying different restaurants we really love the food we got here. The waiter was really friendly and he was able to speak really good Spanish and English 😊 it’s a little bit more pricy than the average but worth it.

We had chicken casserole and meat balls, both very good. Meat balls were the beat I’ve had, ever. My son commented on the rice pudding, saying it was the best he ever had as well. Dishes were presented nicely, service also good. Turkish coffee good, so was the tea. Nice atmosphere, clean. Would very much recommend.

I had THE BEST vegetarian Cig Kofte! The chef was willing to make it for me. On top of that,I ordered a Shepherds Salad,and received a double portions of greens,with my “meat.” After the meal,I was gifted with Baklava and traditional Turkish tea.

Mehmet (part owner) is kind and funny and speaks perfect English. Highly recommend - came for lunch, came back for wine and sheesha - Mehmet remembered us!

People working here are very hospitable. They welcomed us warmly and even gave us complimentary tea & baklava! Our food was served hot which is perfect for the cold Turkey weather. It was also very tasty. We enjoyed our dinner there!

The price has been renewed. The price has increased by 1.2~1.3 compared to the recent menu photo. But the food is delicious. Convincing price. I think 4.5 star. 0.5 because food came out 30 minutes after ordering. there is only 2 team. and 1table is already finish serving. Ordered was Iskendar and pasta.

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere ! The staff speaks very good english and they will gladly help you with everything ! We had some mezze that were perfect with some bread that came warm ! The main dishes , every one of them was very well cooked and nicely presented . The Meat was tender and juicy ! Pastrami appetizer was a little bit salty but good. $36 US for the bill was a fair price for fresh ingredients and friendly service in a nice restaurant near tourist central.

Food was mediocre, there are plenty better restaurants regarding the food. Literary this tortelini were tasteless, like they were bought from store, NOT homemade for sure. At entrance, guy gave us same offer as all other restaurants (free starter and coffee which was bad) but charged 10% tax and no one else charged us that and he didnt told us that. Unfortunately that was our first day in Istanbul and we were fooled, if we visited previously some restaurants, for sure we wouldnt go inside this restaurant. Honestly there are plenty better restaurants with better food. More expensive then other restaurants also. Try to avoid it.

The competition in this area is fierce. Lots of restaurants around and most service similar meals. This play had great reviews to start and it’s actually worthy of it. The service is really great, the drinks good, and the meals were excellent. We got the chicken skewers, the mixed meat plate, the steak stew and the bulger meat balls and the mixed mezza. All of it was great and quality ingredients.

Amazing local food in super centric location, friendly service and very good prices for quality offered. Mahmut, one of the workers even taught us some words in turkish and made our day with his happines and kindness. Must try
