We went there because TripAdvisor recommended it. I'll never trust TripAdvisor again. Several times these 2 last weeks we have followed recommendations from TripAdvisor, but it's not correct. This was supposed to be such a wonderful place, but we was served three courses where two of them were cold food. The last one was hot and pretty good. Smoothie was also good. Money wise it was very expensive compared to other places we have eaten. Not worth the money at all..sorry to say. And on top of that they casually added 75000 VND on the bill for taxes and extra. Not cool. The only positive was the friendly staff and the interior. And please change the music.

Tucked at a corner shop on the 2nd floor, feels like a hidden gem away from the city. Wooden and rustic interior makes u feel warm and at home. Dishes are very refreshing and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. The prawn salad is to die for. Serve together with some crackers. That dish is the highlight for me. The rest are all great as well too many items to list. just order the ones I did and u wont regret. 10/10 will come back again every time.

Homey atmosphere with sittings on the balcony, friendly staff. Modern menu design that came with a photo journal illustrating the founder/restaurant story, the signature section with description was very helpful. The prawns okra soup was light, clear and flavourful (no msg I believe), appreciated the fact that they made the effort to take out the intestinal tracts, although missing one prawn. The pancake was a bit soggy but had generous fillings.

I’ve been to most locations from Quan Bui throughout the years, especially as a favorite destination to introduce my foreign friends to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I was delighted to hear about their newest opening near our office and took our staff to celebrate our year-end gathering. The new location is located in Saigon Pearl compound in a beautiful Villa across 3 floors. Love the parking ability for cars right in front and both the interior and exterior of the establishment is cozy and elegant- great mix between traditional vintage & modern design. Our team of 14 people had a wonderful time. Kudos especially to the attentive manager, Huy and his team. From communication to planning and execution, everything was flawless. Food was of consistent high quality like all of QB’s outlets. Thank you Quan Bui! We’ll be back!

Some of the food was amazing. I really loved the fried snakehead fish which you wrap in rice paper and fresh herbs / just incredible. I also liked the pork belly stew over white rice. Jasmine tea and the green kale spinach smoothie were nice complements. Highly reco this place as a foreigner bc you can taste a little more refinement.

Location: in the downtown. But only easy to access if you walk or go by taxi, parking is a real problem. Motorbike parking price: 10,000VND Place: Upscale, clean, comfortable table and chair Menu: very good and have many selections Food: Vietnam fusion food, tasty, very nice cooked. Our soup is too salty and it has been fixed after requesting. Price: high-end. The food is what you get for the price. Service: good, but not as good as a price segment could. Overall: 7/10. Not a casual place for me but if I have a guest want to enjoy Vietnamese food at a cozy place. This will come in my selection.

Very good , big , clean and modern restaurant . Seems like the best one of all the Quan Bui’s in Hcmc . The food was very fast , and tasted supreme. As usual the selection on the menu was vast , delights to cater for all tastes The service overall was also very good . Although one of the servers really smelled of sweat (not the waitress in picture )

Finally one more decent restaurant in Saigon Pearl. A villa was turned into a restaurant, quite small but nice and good Vnm food.

Lovely area for dinner and some drinks, the menu is a little bit hard to read at the dusky environment. Salad was nice, will go there next time to try more food!

I wanted to like this restaurant so bad cause it’s next door to my apartment and it had 4 stars rating. The veggie was the only dish that was good the rest was terrible and do not order the bo lúc lắc the be về was tougher than any beef I’ve had since I’ve been here. Didn’t even eat one piece of meat and left hungry. The fish was super salty, like I said only the veggie were eatable. Worst meal in the 9 months I’ve been here. Told the staff how bad it was and I don’t believe they even cared. Huge disappointment !

Good foods at a nice location. However, if you're lucky, you may have a great time with you family or friends without being disturbed by a big loud drunk group of people.

I really like the food here. You can enjoy domestic Vietnamese food from different provinces. My Vietnamese friend is also highly recommend!

It's probably the consistent quality of food that makes Quan Bui one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in HCM. In terms of competition, Hoang Yen restaurants come into mind - but Hoang Yen is more commercialized and doesn't have the diverse menu that Quan Bui has, and generally I just prefer Quan Bui because of its better tasting food.

I was impressed with this food joint. It's located above another restaurant, decorated in retro style with everyday items from a time long gone. Quan Bui feels like the pre-1975 Saigon answer to Cong Cafe's post 1975 Hanoi. Food was typical Vietnamese- selection is good (5/5) but the quality of the dishes is 4/5. Service acceptable 3/5. Price was a tad bit higher than expected (50$ US for three ppl). Nonetheless, we would go back.

A very cozy bistro in the midst of a very loud and hectic area where you can enjoy some of the best Vietnamese meals in a quiet atmosphere inside or at a balcony above the busy street, with nice staff and ambiance. Cards are accepted. Definitely recommend!

Have been trying new Vietnamese restaurants every time I come back to HCMC and this has been my favourite restaurant so far. Quan Bui has 5 branches in HCMC now and each branch is slightly different from each other(mainly the decor). Their menu can be a bit overwhelming as one ingredient has so many different ways to enjoy it ! Homelike dishes and taste, no MSG! They even have free range chicken choice ! 15USD/pax and portions are generous !
