This is what you call a tourist trap- after seeing countless positive reviews you can imagine how surprised we were when we arrived at a rather empty restaurant. (We were looking for the Secret House restaurant before realising it had the same address as the Hidden House!) We were led into the alfresco area/ inner courtyard but soon asked to swap seats from the strong pee smell. We decided to try their most expensive dish (seafood platter- 999,000₫) and after half an hour, nothing came. (There were only 3 other tables, all foreigners.) When our food finally arrived, everything was lukewarm. (We believe that the cooked prawns and squid were supposed to be hot, and the oysters cold? But since they were plated together everything just became barely warm..) Overall, the cockles were tasteless, the snails were muddy/unfresh; the (not-very-nice) sauce was probably there to mask the ‘unfresh-ness’ of all the seafood..(just imagine how bad it had to be when 4 hungry people cannot finish 1 platter!) The only food that was nice was the fried rice- but definitely not worth the wait, nor the price. This is not authentic Vietnam! Note: We also spotted the waitress getting the other customers to leave a positive review on TripAdvisor..

Really nice restaurant. The food is good, but portions are small, just like at Mountain Retreat and Secret Garden. So it's a bit pricey, but the beauty of the place makes up for it. Staff is nice. Overall very enjoyable! If you've got friends from abroad visiting, bring them here!

We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve dinner at Secret House. Service was decent despite being very crowded, food enjoyable, and prices quite reasonable. Perfect for travelers who want to sample a large selection of Vietnamese dishes.

The place is new, but the food is top notch. This is a place you should visit when you are in need of a quick brunch. Very Vietnamese taste. The menu is just right. The taste is delicate and gentle, so it is suitable for foreigners and vietnamese. I would give 10 star for the environment. You should sit in the garden, thats where it feels so tranqil and relaxed. They also reduce plastic usage. So go for it.

Atmosphere awesome, Service great, food very tasty, portion size average to below average. For that reason The price is a little high. I paid 200,000 dong for my two dishes. One funny sidenote there was only two people at the restaurant I came sat down first in front of a fan to cool down the second person walked in sat in front of me he did not like the fan so they moved it just a little funny. My overall rating is 4 1/2 stars

I dined in a group of four without reservation and were seated without any trouble. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service is prompt and friendly. The menu is extensive offering some very unique dishes. Everything was delicious, with our favourite dish being the minced snails in soup (we had to order a second serve). I definitely recommend visiting- there’s something for everyone here.

The restaurant was really charming but there was a foul smell at the entrance foyer when I went, unlike other restaurants where the fragrance of food greets you. The service staff were friendly enough but there seemed to be only a couple of them who speak adequate English. Also, some of the service staff seemed to have very little experience working in restaurants. Ordered 2 kinds of pork belly dish and they were both forgettable. The food is pricey considering the serving portions were tiny. The food presentation was great though so you'd think the food is delicious until you do eat it. I basically had regrets for lunch that day 🤪

Such A disaster! The restaurant has changed its name to the hidden garden. I don't know if the owner was changed as well. Annoying music; poor customer service. I ordered two simple dishes, one of them was recommended as best seller. Then I wait for 15', asked them when the food be ready. The waitress then told me the food I ordered was out of stock. What the hell? If I didn't ask then when would they tell me? Then I wait for another 15' the food has not ready yet. I'll Never come back to this restaurant.

The place is called Hidden House now! Food was delicious though, the eel soup with plantains and banana leaves was absolutely delicious. Soft shell crab too!

Yummy Vietnamese food place with a nice decoration. The taste is very southern style and so delicious, especially the Chicken stew was amazing, make sure you come with a group of friends so you can try different food. The atmosphere is quite nice as well with the small vegetables garden in the middle and especially they have live traditional music performance, very unique!

Great food and nice atmosphere. We came here after visiting their sister restaurant Secret Garden. Food was just as amazing and would definitely recommend. Four dishes + 2 drinks came to £19

Nice ambiance, sitting outside under nice weather and enjoy their herbal garden. Very attentive staff, they ask if I'm ok with mosquito scent before putting one underneath my seat. Wide range of choices with authentic southern cuisine dishes

Excellent place for authentic Viet food. Beautiful concept and charming ambiance for Viet home and kitchen. We ordered Ginger Chicken, Pork with coconut 🥥 and an amazing salad. All were wonderful. Indeed there were more that we want to order from their menu of interesting selection. One minor point is that I don’t think “Secret House” is the right name for it. There is nothing “Secret” about the place - properly was named to follow their sister “Secret Garden” rooftop restaurant which is rightfully called. “Home kitchen”, “Nhà quê” or the like is a better and more suitable name for how it turned out to be.

Crazy good food, lovely staff members and stylish decor with a cool ambience. We ordered the banh xeo, spring rolls and steak which they’re famous for. They were all TOP NOTCH. We spent about 250k vnd so about £10 per person. In short, go!

This was an A+ meal for many reasons. We showed up without a reservation but they were still able to accommodate us even though they were initially full up. Great service and food came out fast. The menu is unique and I think it would be hard to find all of these dishes in one spot. We loved the garlic fried rice and the braised pork took us to flavortown!!

👍 I've been there 2 times. The First time Everything was perfect! 😠 It's a street full of pubs. That's about it. Blaring musics. Girls dancing on stage. Tourist. Not recommended. Too noisy. But what really put me off is the people... There can be up to 5 persons grabbing my arms my bags to lead me to their pubs. I have to constantly struggle to keep their hands off...

😠 They have tried the best to serve the best their chef can cook the Margarita Pizza, however either they do not know how to make pizza or making fool out of customers.
