I can’t speak highly enough about the Real Egypt’s service. We planned traveling to Egypt in mid-June 2022 with not much time and wanting to visit many places. Dahlia our trip coordinator worked her magic to be able to accommodate Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh all in 8 days. To summarize our experience, I wanted to list all the main things that make Real Egypt an outstanding agency: -They can personalize your trip to your needs. They are super well organized, and they have their itineraries planned to the minute, so you don’t have to do anything. We were even welcomed in the airport by Waleed before going through immigration. -They are always on time, tour guides, transportation, airport assists, etc. -You have your trip coordinator always available on the phone -The tour guides are top. We were amazed by the level of knowledge they had. Our tour guides were historians and archeologists -The food selection for lunch was great a mix of famous places with local food in the houses of people in some of the towns -We went there in the beginning of the summer, and they always came prepared with very cold water and we never had to wait to be picked up and taken to a different place. -Transportation vehicles are in great condition with AC, and their drivers very skilled -They provide you hotel recommendations from all budget ranges but all are great -Everyone on their team was extremely nice, super welcoming, and always willing to answer all our questions -They send you a pre-trip document with information about the culture and everything you need to know before traveling Finally, you don’t have to book anything by yourself or do any research. You just tell them where you want to go and do, and they will do everything for you 🙂

Absolutely Fabulous. Samir and the team put together a flawless custom tour for my wife and I including a Dihabiya Nile cruise and every antiquity we wanted to visit. The guides were extremely good, and super friendly as well. A special shout out yo Nayera and Mahmood, two fabulous egyptologist guides we had the pleasure of being with. Before booking we considered Abercrombie & Kent, but this was our tour, we didn't want to share it with 25 others - Real Egypt made us feel special. In terms of value for money, it was so much better than the large luxury tours we saw on offer. We made many friends and saw Egypt in style. Highly recommended.

I utilized Real Egypt during my brief stay in Cairo and they were excellent! I only had a few days in the city and really wanted to get a good introduction: They did not disappoint! After extensive research, we decided to book all of our activities with Real Egypt as it seemed like the best choice out there due to the positive reviews. What we wanted was to have a genuine travel experience and we can all say (two couples) that it was surely an experience of a lifetime - our guide, Amaal, a genuine Egyptologist with 30 years expertise made our trip unforgettable - all of the activities were greatly organized with attention to every single detail. I did a fabulous Dahabiya Nile Sailing tour with Real Egypt. The dahabiya cruise stops at more of the important historic monuments and includes more cultural experiences because it can moor at more places than the big Nile cruises do. I had visited some of the monuments by land before, but this is definitely the best way to see this part of Egypt between Luxor and Aswan, with experienced guides, excellent crew, and time to relax between the stops. Good food throughout the trip. Visits to the villages, especially Bisaw, were a highlight for me. I also appreciate that this company is making efforts to make their tours more sustainable and supports local communities. 👏 thanks to Real Egypt and Dahabiya Nile Sailing for the best way to travel along the Nile.

We travelled two adults and three kids (3, 5, 7 yo) to Cairo for 4 days in February 2023. I was looking in TripAdvisor for tourist agency with good reviews and i decided to book with Real Egypt three day tours plus the transportation services from and to the airport. This definitely was the best decision. First day we got a tour to Giza (Pyramids, Sphynx, Museum etc), the second day a sightseeing tour in Cairo town ( Al Khalilah market, old Cairo, Coptic Cairo etc.), the third day an amazing Safari to Fayoum desert, Valley of Whales etc. We are absolutely happy with real Egypt from the time they picked us up from the airport to the time they dropped us off back. Mustafa our trip coordinator was very kind and helped us to schedule the appropriate for us tours, considering we had the kids. The tours were very well organized, with very comfortable vehicles and the guides really amazing. Our guide Mohamed was the best we ever had! Very kind and fluent English speaker guide, he even helped us with the kids sometimes, and the kids really loved him (keep asking when will see him again :D ) Ahmed was the guide who picked us and dropped us to the airport, he was really excellent and helpful too. To sum up, although I was a bit worried before the trip about how would be in Egypt with three toddlers, real Egypt made it absolutely comfortable and amazing!

Faiyum and Tunis (desert trip, Petrified Forest, Wadi El-Hitan, and Pottery village) I had a ball! I had no idea that 24 hours could pack in so much fun. Samir was very knowledgeable about everything that we saw. He offered a friendly personalized trip that included so much information. He also provided camping equipment and meals. It was a nice surprise when he pulled out two boards to go sand boarding as well. I plan to use Samir for future trips for many reasons. I felt safe and respected and he provided an honest and organized trip.

As a museum professional with life-long passion for Ancient Egypt, I was keen to find an in-depth, academic 12 day tour that would allow me to explore sites off-the-beaten-track and at my own pace (and without having to battle through huge groups of people). However, as a 28 year old woman travelling solo, I was initially a little nervous about the trip and so spent quite some time selecting a tour company. After reading numerous positive reviews both online and in guidebooks such as Lonely Planet, I settled on Real Egypt. I’m so glad I did! Real Egypt were fantastic from the moment I first made contact and, I felt, were just as enthusiastic about the prospect of my tour as I was! Their regular and prompt contact, fantastic itinerary, and willingness to adapt to my budget, reassured me from the beginning that I had selected the right company. I was greeted upon arrival at Cairo airport and, from that moment to the very end of my tour, every member of Real Egypt that I met was incredibly kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt I was being welcomed by friends, not a tour company and could not have felt more comfortable. Talking to fellow travellers my age who were staying in the same guest houses, it was very clear that my tour experience was exceptional. Everyone was in awe of my itinerary, and impressed with my description of my amazing guide, Samir. I visited places that others had not even heard of, and they gasped in amazement as I recounted visiting sites where there was not another tourist in sight! Nearly everyone I spoke to said they wished their guides had given them more time to look at things- never once did Samir hurry me (even though I spent hours and hours looking at things!). I felt safe at all times, experienced little to no hastling (Samir seems to know nearly everyone, so you are greeted as a friend rather than treated like a tourist!), and honestly enjoyed every second of my trip. My itinerary was jam-packed and tailored exactly to me; we started early every day and prioritised seeing as much as possible with the time I had. Over the 11 days, we travelled from Cairo down to Aswan by car (with an excellent, friendly driver) stopping at an amazing selection of sites along the way (highlights including the magical Tuna el-gebel, Dandara and Abydos). Every single day was full of wonderful, beautiful places and objects and architecture beyond my wildest dreams.The tour was planned so that we saw nearly everything in chronological order, which helped to make the detailed history easy to follow (and allowed me to see links between the places we visited). Samir is exceptionally knowledgeable and was wonderful at answering my many millions of questions. He also quickly picked-up on my interests, adapting the information he gave accordingly. His English is impeccable. I learnt so much, and Samir’s style of guiding also empowered me to use this newly acquired knowledge to better understand the world today. This is something I really valued and is something that guides do not often do. Despite being alone with a stranger for so long (something I’d been worried about- would it be strained and awkward?) I felt comfortable with Samir from the very beginning and always felt I could speak openly with him. On top of the Ancient Egyptian sites, I saw stunning scenery, endless desert and lovely rural villages, ate delicious food (and didn’t once have a bad tummy!), drank copious amount of tea, played dominoes in local cafes, spent the most wonderful evening with a local family who decorated my hands with henna and met many, many wonderful people. I feel I’ve experienced Egypt in a way that few tourists do. Egypt is a magical, beautiful place; visiting has had the most profound impact on me and I will be forever grateful to Samir and his team for the experience I had. I can’t wait to go back.

2-Day Guided Tour of Cairo and Giza My wife, son and I just completed a full 2-day guided tour of Cairo and Giza. We’re very satisfied with the caliber of our guides and the customized itinerary. Our trip was last minute and Mr. Samir - the travel company owner- was both very responsive and flexible in accommodating our schedule and interests. On Day 1, our guide was Ernest, a professional Egyptologist who provided us with a great of information about the Pyramids and also served as our docent or guide in the Egyptian Archaeology Museum. We highly recommend him! He is a wealth of knowledge and very patient, too. On Day 2, Shimaa was our guide and led us to the Citadel, Coptic Cairo, Egypt’s oldest synogogue, as well as the El-khalili market where she helped negotiate with the merchants. Like Mr. Ernest, Shimaa was very knowledgeable, patient and engaging. She was also very flexible in adjusting the itinerary to meet our needs. On both days, our driver was prompt and courteous. All in all, this was a 5-star experience. If you are planning a trip to Cairo and/or other parts of Egypt, we highly recommend you contact Mr. Samir. We will be recommending him and Ernest and Shimaa to our friends.

Exhilarating Egyptian Experience The whole experience from beginning to end was smooth and organized. We were in constant communication during planning the experience and upon arrival at the airport. Waleed was waiting for us and helped us with our visas and to navigate the airport. The tour guide (Mohamed) was great and informative. He knew all the facts like he lived in ancient times. We soaked up so much information. The Pyramids were glorious as well Alexandria and the Pompeii Pillar. What may be my favorite excursion was to the Egyptian Museum where we explored the mummy exhibit and learned more about the ancient times and how the culture evolved. Real Egypt Tour Experience in Cairo and Giza- My daughter and I recently visited Egypt during her spring break. This agency was responsive to our needs and custom designed a very affordable and educational experience for us. Our guide, Amani, differentiated the learning experience to share insight with my 12 year old daughter for a deep engagement and learning. I was delighted to see her retaining and sharing information at the end of our trip. Our only drawback was that our guide was tired from leading so many tours! 19 members of the Phoenix Ski Club used Real Egypt Tours as our vendor for our March, 2018 trip to Egypt and Jordan. Samir proposed an itinerary to see the popular Egyptian sites, but also included 4 nights on a Dahabiya sailboat, visits to small villages and the opportunity to meet locals. To ensure a small group experience, Samir broke us into 2 groups, each with a guide and van. The tour was an outstanding success. Samir and his team handled every detail of the trip, from meeting us at the airport, ensuring transportation was on time, and making last minute changes to provide a better trip. Amazing service from these guys. Really looking forward to seeing a few sights off the "normal" beaten track this time. Last time, our youngest now 10 was too young to appreciate anything but the "big" sites. Now she has an understanding and love of history and culture we can't wait to get to get into the real real egypt. Trip to Aswan in Luxor. Samir and his team were wonderful for the whole duration of the tour. My driver and guides were fantastic, always prompt and full of knowledge. Samir was constantly in contact via phone supplied by Real Egypt. Abu Symbel, Philae Temple and sound and light were magnificent. A felluca around the Nile was the highlight of the trip. My husband and I spent a day with Mohammad, a guide from Real Egypt Tours. It was excellent. He took use to multiple Masques. We walked the streets of Cairo (quite an experience, not to be done without a guide). We shopped in the old Markets of Cairo. We had an authentic lunch at one of the small restaurants in the market. It was a very memorable, educational and enjoyable day.

Hello, we are a French couple, we came at the end of September 2022 and our trip was organized by Real Egypt (except for the plane and the hotel as we asked) : 4 days in Louxor + 4days in a cruise + Abu Simbel. This was the first time we used a tour company. We had a very good experience, let me explain : THE RESERVATION Reservation was easy, in English, we spoke with Dahlia, a senior tour guide, so, her advices and propositions were good and adapted. All the explications were clear, and she did their best to satisfy our request. Thank you again Dahlia ! PRICE Good price for the cruise, visit of Louxor and all the additional visits. They had different way to pay. Bank transfer was, for us, the easiest, and everything was well explained. COMMUNICATION The communication was perfect : fluid and easy, by e-mail before the trip, then by WhatsApp. The answers were really quick, that makes us really comfortable. We appreciated that they followed us throughout the trip asking for news, reminding us of schedules and answering questions. GUIDES We asked for French speaking guide. We told Real Egypt that the first guide wasn’t very professional, they immediately replaced him by another guide more qualified and offered us an extra. We really appreciated this reactivity ! Our little advice: After all, we think we didn’t make the best choice. If we well understood, Real Egypt pay attention of the guide they hire but the French speaking guide are not part of the company. So, even if we loved our tour and guide, we should have asked for English speaking guide, hiring by Real Egypt. TRIP The trip was wonderful, we did everything we wanted: visit the different tombs, different temple, balloon,… Visits were very well organized: The Real Egypt leader and the guide came to pick up us, every morning in our hotel; we avoid the crowd, take our time on every visit and took all the pictures we wanted, then we had to rest a bit. We were with a private guide, so really comfortable and felt free to ask questions. We loved it a lot ! CRUISE The cruise was our favorite part ! We were only 4 guests, the Dahabiya was beautiful and comfortable, the trip was really relaxing, the view was beautiful, the crew was wonderful, we ate tasty Egyptian specialties, days had a good organization, we visited local family really sweet. We liked a lot our guide, Shiima, she was really good and kind ! We enjoyed every single moment! CONCLUSION We highly recommend Real Egypt, we felt safe, listened, and well supported. We appreciate every interlocutor of the company. Do not hesitate to ask them to organize your trip !! we will definitively ask them again to organize our next trip ! We organised two private day tours (one for Cairo/Giza/Memphis/Saqqara and another for Luxor West Bank including a sunrise hot air balloon ride) and a dahabiya Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Real Egypt, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. While we were travelling around Egypt by ourselves we felt that the two day tours would make our lives easier in terms of transportation and managing to fit in as much as possible on those days, and we were right. My family and I previously lived in Egypt for more than 5 years, but it had been a while since we'd visited, and we were bringing in-laws along, so we hired Real Egypt Tours to take us around Cairo and Luxor. They are not kidding when they say the Real Egypt! Of course, we had the obligatory visits to the pyramids and other well know sites, however, in addition to learning about ancient Egypt, we got to experience modern Egypt as well, the real Egypt today. We visit villages, and local markets and. had our best meal in Egypt at a home in the Nubian village near Aswan. The highlight of the trip was the Dahabiya! A trip to Egypt can be intense in order to visit all the well know sites but a 5-night cruise on this traditional boat had a nice mix of relaxation and visiting smaller sites along the Nile that you would not see with the larger boats. The trip went very smoothly. All the guides, Ahmed, Mahmoud, Hani & Fatima were professional, knowledgeable, and just lovely people. We definitely wished we had let RE choose and book our hotels as we were not happy with OUR choice of hotels. The ones we booked ourselves.

My husband and I recently contracted with Real Egypt for two full days of sightseeing in Cairo. They were able to build tours around the sites most important to us so that we could see what we wanted in our limited amount of time. On the first day we visited the pyramid complexes at Giza, Saqqara and Dashar the second day took in the Cave Church and garbage city, the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and Khan el Khalili. We had Shakmaa and Aman as our guide and driver. Both were excellent! They knew where the worst traffic would be and routed us in a way as to minimize down time. Our van was in excellent condition (among the best transport we had in Egypt) and Aman was a very skillful, safe and courteous driver. Shakmaa has extensive knowledge of all the sites. In fact, we learned that she studied with the current minister of architecture for Egypt. She was excellent at gauging our level of interest and how much we could realistically absorb without getting overwhelmed. She also interspersed a lot of great information on what current, day-to-day life in Egypt is like which we found just as interesting as the historical details. Like, Aman, she is extremely courteous and thoughtful, always asking us if we wanted photos in front of sites and checking in on any other needs we may have. There was no pressure to shop. The only stores we visited (by our own decision) were at Khan el Khalili where Shakmaa helped us negotiate fair prices on several small souvenirs. She also took us to a famous cafe in the market and showed us several special spots for great photos. If you prefer shopping to sightseeing, I'm sure Real Egypt could coordinate a wonderful tour for that as well. Included lunches were delicious. All in all, we'd highly recommend Real Egypt, Shakmaa and Aman for their attentiveness in designing itineraries that appeal to the unique interests of their clients and for their "no surprises" format. On a return visit I'd use them again in Cairo as well as for tours throughout the country.

Samir and Tim delivered a fantastic, authentic experience around the Golden Island. The visit to Coptic Church was done in a sincere manner and with reverence, while allowing us to still take photos of the beautiful architecture. The meal with the local family was a warm opportunity to get to know local Egyptians in their domain. The food, company and view of the Nile and Cairo's metropolis made the evening. We hired the services of Samir Abbas and his crew at Real Egypt Tours for a tailor-made tour during 5 days. It was a perfect experience, combining activities such as diving and hot air balloon with the rich historic sites of ancient Egypt. Samir is a talented Egyptologist who knows every little detail of their own history. He is also great with kids, motivating them to look for clues at the temples and giving them small rock scarabs (popular amulets) as a reward for their answers. We were two families with kids and we had a great time, definitely we will hire them again if we came back to Egypt.

I had a great time with Real Egypt Tours in Cairo in May 2019. I went to the Pyramids at Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur. The trip was easy to book with Samir and Adele. My tour guide, Azny, is an exceptional archeologist. He is very knowledgeable and taught me so much. The pyramids were fabulous and I could have spent months at the Egyptian museum. As a woman traveIling alone, I felt safe with my guide and drivier. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and I would travel with them again if the opportunity presents itself to me.

We decided at short notice to arrange a tour to the Pyramids at Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur - Samir organsied a driver and guide for us and as arranged arrived at our hotel at 7.00am the next day! Ernest the guide and Amro the driver were polite, respectful and punctual - Ernest immediately started giving us an overview of Egypt's history as we travelled out of Cairo. We spent the day travelling first to the pyramids at Giza, then to Saqqara and finally to Dahshur - Ernest was always making sure we didn't trip on the uneven ground and picked up very quickly on how we wanted to do things, like having time to just wander around by ourselves. We did have to keep moving because one of the tombs at Saqqara closed at midday but he managed the time without making us feel rushed. We really did get much more out of this as a private tour than if we had been on a bus. Ernest amazed us with his knowledge of the pyramids and we certainly learnt lots of things we didn't know. Really do try to make the time to get down to Darshur, this was a real highlight for us. Entry into the middle of the 3rd biggest pyramid in Egypt is included in the standard ticket. Amro impressed us with his safe driving and we were always comfortable when he was negotiating the busy traffic. Thanks Real Egypt we will certainly consider other day tours with you as we travel around Egypt.

It is great to have someone help you put together an itenerary that really works for everyone. Adele, was so helpful online in answering questions and organizing everything for us along the way. She is a treasure! She is there to help in any way she can. We had a few different guides who all were wonderful. The owner, Samir is a gem! Most of our tours were with Ahmed. We feel like he is now a friend. He made our tours fun, informative, and we felt safe with him at all times. Real Egypt is the only way to see Cairo!!! You get personalized service, the freedom to do what you want to do and see what you want to see. We went on a custom tour of Egypt consisting of three days visiting less-visited tombs and temples between Cairo and Luxor (often the only visitors), then five days on a dahabiya (small sailing boat with five cabins) from Luxor to Aswan, then a trip to Abu Simbel, and finally three days camping in the White Desert and visiting sights around the Bahariya Oasis southwest of Cairo. We can't say enough good things about the tour put together for us by Real Egypt. The guides were wonderful — extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to spend time with. We stayed in accommodations ranging from a family guest house in the country to the famous Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan to a tent in the desert. Everywhere we enjoyed the wonderful food (far more than we could eat) and the warm Egyptian hospitality. Throughout our tour we felt completely safe and well cared-for. We contacted numerous tour companies requesting a custom tour, but Real Egypt was the only company who actually listened to what we wanted. They put together a tour that fulfilled our desire to see parts of Egypt that very few people experience, while also visiting the most famous sites. We highly recommend Real Egypt Tours!

I could not speak highly enough of Real Egypt tours. Taha was our guide for two days in Cairo and his hospitality, knowledge and generosity motivated us to book another Real Egypt guide in Luxor. Our tours in Cairo included the Egyptian Musuem, Coptic and Islamic Cairo and the Khan El Khalili market. Mohamed was our guide in Luxor and similarly welcomed us and shared his extensive knowledge with us. While in Luxor Real Egypt arranged that we visited the Valley of the Kings, the Colossus of Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple, Deir Al Medina, Medinet Habu Temple, Karnak and Luxor Temples, Dandara and Abydos. Communication with Samir and Adele was incredibly easy and they were very accomodating of our needs. They managed to fit everything in that we wanted to see even though we seemingly didn't have enough time! We had already booked other tours with other companies and our only regret is that we did not book everything through Real Egypt and that we had more time to spend in Egypt. Both Mohamed and Taha were extremely versed in Egyptology and really welcomed us into the Egyptian culture. If we were to return to Egypt I would definitely book their services again. Thank you.

I had a wonderful and insightful one-day tour of Cairo with Azza, who was a great guide. This was followed up by an equally excellent two-day tour of Luxor with Shaimaa, who was also an excellent guide. I can't imagine a better way to see Egypt than with Real Egypt, and if all their guides are as talented, knowledgeable and personable as Azza and Shaimaa, you are in for the most exciting and enjoyable tour of Egypt imaginable.

Great Trip! I booked a trip with Real Egypt to travel from Aswan to Luxor at the end of December-Jan. 2nd. I was traveling with my sister and two friends. In Aswan, we toured the sites with a wonderful female guide named Iman. She was very knowledgeable and recommended going to lesser known sites that we had not included on our original itinerary, and we were glad we took her advice. Since we were a group of 4 women, it was nice to have a female guide for a change. Then we sailed from Aswan to Luxor; we chartered a dahabiya for 4 nights/5 days. It was a wonderful experience. The boat was spacious and clean. The captain and crew were amazing - very friendly and hospitable. The food was fantastic!!! Kudos to Abou Abdou, the owner; Captain, Abdou; Waiter: Mostafa; Chef, Nasser; and Assistants, Hassan & Ramadan!!! Thank you for making our winter holiday and New Year a memorable one. We also had a guide on board, Mahmoud Ali, who took is to the sites along the way. He was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. Dudes. If you're going to go to Egypt you need to contact Samir. Best prices, best guides, best everything. I had so much fun there and learned so much thanks to him. You're taken care of even before you get on the plane; tailoring your trip to your liking and recommendations on best places to visit. Then as soon as you land you're walked through through the visa process and taken right to your car and driven to your hotel. You can be more independent or be taken care of every step of the way. We used Real Egypt Travel for three separate individualized tours and could not be more pleased with our experience. The entire team was very professional, organized and made us feel special and safe throughout our entire time with them. We are very independent travelers and do not usually go on guided tours or use guides. This was our first time and we are very glad we booked with Real Egypt. It was a good balance of learning from an Egyptologist about what we were seeing but also getting private time to explore and experience the sites. Our first day we traveled with our guide Mark to Abu Simbel. It was an amazing experience to be completely in the dessert and witness mirages, see the High Aswan Dam and also see a relocated antiquity of Ramses II. It would be hard not to love Abu Simbel, as the site is so incredible. Mark was an extremely professional guide who took great care of us. We had a wonderful lunch with fresh fish from Lake Nassar that day at the Tuya Cafe. Overall, just an amazing day! Our second day, Mark and our driver took us from Aswan to Luxor, stopping at three sites along the way: Kom Ombo, Edfu and El Kab. This was a spectacular day and the sites were more intimate and less traveled which made this experience extra special. Mark was a great guide, giving us insights, sharing stories and making the experience easy and engaging. Mark was easy to get along with, funny and also answered, as best as he could, our cultural/political questions that came up along the way, which was appreciated. He is working on his Master's degree on hieroglyphics of a certain time period, so he was able to share a lot about reading them at the sites which was very interesting to us. Our organizer, Mohammad, took extra care to have a special lunch packed for us so we could eat along the way during this long day of travel. We appreciated the extra care he took to meet the dietary restrictions we required. We arrived in Luxor and Real Egypt made sure we were well taken care of at Al Moudira, our amazing hotel. Although we booked the hotel ourselves, Real Egypt knew the staff there and made sure we had a great room. We spent a full day visiting the West Bank with our guide Amany. We felt comfortable with Amany right away and truly appreciated the way she shared information with us. She was direct and concise in the way she presented information but also shared specific stories which helped us engage the antiquities. We especially appreciated that she connected what we were seeing with the broader context (historically, culturally, and spatially). For example, at Hatsheput's temple she started by showing us the overview model of the complex, so we could see what it originally was vs. what is there today. She also spent time to draw us the family tree of Hatsheput so we could understand the complicated family ties. Additionally, she pointed out how the temple is aligned with Karnak temple across the river and the significance of this. She was knowledgeable and honest when there were conflicting interpretations about what we were seeing. As my husband and I are both architects, she was able to share information with us which was important to us, from materials to building techniques and spatial conditions. We truly enjoyed our day with Amany. At the end of our time with her, she shared that this was her first day with Real Egypt! We want Real Egypt to know, she was an amazing guide and we know she will excel and do well with the company. Thanks again Real Egypt and Adele who communicated with us all along the way. Mr Samir is very professional and he cared to provide us with all our requirements in our Safari trip to fayoum,we visited wadi el rayan falls ,valley of whales ,magic lake and sand boarding near it ,we have seen the mountain of modawara but did not have time to climb it,we eated in a tent in magic lake.our children 8 and four years enjoyed a lot and learned about their country ,the driver was excellent ,helpful and polite ,the only improvement is the car ,would be more comfortable if newer.thanks all for your help and care.

I don't usually book tours so I was a little unsure about using a tour company, but Dina Ali from Real Egypt was great to deal with, and very responsive and accommodating in working with me to customise my private guided tour. She was able to suggest a couple of places that I hadn't known about (the Gayer Anderson Museum and the Ibn Tulun Mosque) and so I'm glad to say that I added an extra half day to my 3 day: Timeline Cairo itinerary to include these sites. Dina also followed up at the end of the tour to check that I was happy. I had a fantastic time on the tour thanks to my guide, Ahmed Sabry, and driver, Mahmoud El Garhy - it really felt like I was being shown around Cairo by good friends. The guys are a great team and made my tour a lot of fun with their sense of humour and banter. They were also very respectful and considerate of my needs and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was unwell for a few days and they took me to a pharmacy, let me choose where and what I wanted to eat for lunch (a rare thing on tours!), and let me set the pace when I needed to go slower. The car was always cool and they made sure I always had a cold drink. Ahmed is so much fun to be around, but he also has a wealth of history knowledge and a real passion for sharing Egypt and its sites. He's a talented photographer and can show you the best spots to take photos from and is very happy to take photos of you if you wish. He shows genuine interest in getting to know you so that you do feel like you're spending the day with a good friend. I was pleasantly surprised to discover during the tour that Dina had passed on notes about my interests and what I didn't want from a tour (ie: time spent in shops) and Ahmed kept it all in mind throughout. Mahmoud is an excellent driver - his skills in Cairo traffic were amazing. He's also good humoured, friendly, patient, and just a lovely person. He provided additional transfers outside of the tour and even escorted me to the right platform to catch the sleeper train to Aswan, and then waited with me until I was safe in the company of some other tourists. What a gentleman. I was so happy with Real Egypt that I booked another tour with them. Unfortunately, Ahmed and Mahmoud were already booked for the date I wanted but my guide and driver in Alexandria were also excellent. I can highly recommend Real Egypt and Dina Ali, and I wouldn't hesitate to book a tour through them again - especially if Ahmed Sabry and Mahmoud El Garhy are available to do it!

It was an Amazing experience with Real Egypt, I had so much fun at the Zar Party .It was a deep cultural experience , the Zar ceremony is a healing cult that drives out possessing spirits, sometimes called jinn's or demons, that cause malady. It was fun to have this experience with my friends and can't wait for more new experiences with Real Egypt :) !Highly Recommended

Our tour guide Alfred and driver Naser were both very warm, fun, knowledgeable and flexible people! They picked us up from our hotel and showed us a great time. Fayoum Oasis is really unique and has so much to explore. We only did a day tour but would definitely try and stay overnight or even 3 days if I have the chance. Sand boarding was soo much fun however be prepared to run out of breath! Drink a lot of water and take a dip in Magic Lake after to wash off the desert. Nazla and Tunis Village are both worth visiting. They have an amazing history in pottery and we got to see how they make everything. Nazal is more traditional and raw. Tunis is newer but still very pretty. We also had an amazing lunch at a place near Tunis Village and played some domino with Alfred and the guys that worked there. We laughed a lot, listened to some Egyptian music and recharged from all the sun. Overall an amazing day that left us wanting more!!
