Top level experience as one would expect from Michelin starred restaurant. Flawless service, wonderful and creative food, wonderful ambience in the courtyard

Astonishing! The food was exquisite and presented with panache. The staff took time to talk and explain dishes and wines. An immersive experience and a feast for all the senses, all behind an unprepossessing shop front. Every dish was a work of art

Memorable meal. Everything from the setting, the service and the food was exceptional. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The amount of detail and work that goes to every plate is amazing. We had the menu plaisir and every dish was delicious. The slice rack of veal was the tender, yet flavorful accompanied with a delicious jus and the freshest of asparagus. Unbelievable selection of cheeses and delicious desserts. The chef stopped by at the end to say hello and make sure everything went well. An experience to cherish and remember.

Food: Not bad Service: super slow, but polite. But extremely slow! we spent 4 hours for a dinner Atmosphere: nice, we stayed outside and it very cute. Price: super expensive for what it is. 45 euros for a starter with tomatos? Are you crazy? Overall: a super expensive restaurant with above average quality food and S L O W service.

The jardin was very nice to dine. Food was delicious and interesting. Service was excellent.

We have been to Skab 5 times over the years. This is a big deal as we live in San Francisco and go to nimes every time we are in France specifically to go to Skab. We now take friends with us to enjoy and appreciate this amazing restaurant. I have photos (tres gauche?) of each time we’ve gone and it’s fun to look back and remember. We go again on November 15th 2023 and cannot wait. If you’re considering booking here - don’t hesitate. The price is high but seriously it’s an experience you won’t have elsewhere. And Nimes is a beautiful location.

They are already better then 1 Michelin star. You will get the perfect french dining experience here. A hidden beautiful garden, the real french service, and excellent food. The chef is magnifique, excels in anything he cooks: fruits de mer, bull, pidgeon, fish and even sweets - all dishes are made to perfection.

We were excited to have dinner here last night. The food was very good unfortunately the service was not. Our expectations of a Michelin starred restaurant include the staff being attentive to the guests they have and not making mistakes like using a wine glass over and over for different wines. The chef came out to say hello which was a great touch. I just hope the staff can take their important job with more attention.

We love to come here. It is not the first time we visited the restaurant and I have to say that the kitchen and service is fantastic. It is like going to the theatre:) love it! BUT, in the main dish we found a worm. Dont think it was supposed to be there:).. but we mentioned it to the wateris and there was absolutely no feedback on it. It was weired and I understand it can happen if you use fresh vegetable, but there needs to be some acknowledgement of the fact that it was a mistake. Well, see you next time, hopefully with 5 star review!

We had a long lunch here and the food was uniformly excellent. Easily deserving of its Michelin star, and maybe even good enough for another. The courtyard is beautiful also. Highly recommended.

Wow! Serious food. Wonderful textures; delicate flavours; lots of imagination. All in a delightful courtyard. A truly talented chef.

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The chef takes so much care to make every dish come together to sing in a true chorus of flavors. I also have a gluten allergy, and there was so much I could eat I never once felt deprived. They even had gluten free bread! Upon hearing I hadn’t ordered his signature soufflé for dessert (I’d assumed it had gluten), the chef sent me one on his own to ensure I got to try it. The staff was absolutely lovely from start to finish, and the entire experience truly felt like Poetry in motion. I cannot wait to return!
