Its a wonderful environment. The most interesting part of this resort is its Historical Significance . These includes the very River on which our fore-fathers were transported to the Western region of the Slave masters. The very iron on which they last stepped thier foot as well as a museum that has all the historical informations. So friends, when you visit Marina Resort, do not only eat, drink and have fun. Research the significance of the environment as regards slave trade and the killing of twins. Peace!!!

The Marina Resort Calabar is a resort in Cross River State, Nigeria . It is situated on a great historical site; the water mouth of Calabar. It is located near old slave trade sites. The Marina Resort is a preserved historical site and recreation center. There is a slave history museum, hotel, restaurant; night club, a carousel for the children and extraordinary views of the Calabar River. There are several open fields available for special events including weddings, birthday parties or other outdoor functions. Additionally, an open air theatre is being converted to a two screen cinema hall.

Cool place. They have a museum, games place, carousel for children, big parking area and restaurants. A cinema that is not functional at my time of visit. I am told it's a bubbly location in the evening, it was just cool and quiet because I visited during work hours.

The gate entrance is 100 naira, it's really not fancy, but if you're a lover of vintage decorations then it's for you..they have nice restaurant and bars with girls, also there is availability of boat cruise which cost 1000 per person. And also some games available.

The place is poorly managed. It was my first visit yet can't say it was wow. The woods near the water where I sat were old and half-eaten by termites and the metals are rusted. The place was serene, being closer to nature, but but the man made elements there were poor. I definitely will return there because there isn't a lot of spots in calabar to hang.

As old and unkept our legendary marina resort is right now, it still has good things to keep you on jiggy modeπŸ₯³πŸ₯Ή. Boat cruise and all. Good place to go hangout Really nice I must say. Especially when you are a fan of looking at big water bodies

You will enjoy this place to the utmost. It is a stunningly beautiful place, with so much history. We enjoyed the tour around, we got to see the history of slavery in a stunning way. Although photos were not allowed, it was mentally touching. It is important for people to keep seeing this so that it can never happen again.

The management of the place could do better. It's a good relaxation place, if properly maximised.

Marina Resort Hotel is the most magnificent and worth hyping hotel or resort center in calabar as this place houses a lot of things from the floating NNPC station o the boat ride station and much more. Every state deserves to have something like this as this is a good development to stand ahead and gives citizens a sense of relaxation.

It is a cool and calming place to relax with friends and familu. The river side is always a delight to watch the waves and boats come and go. There is plenty to drink and eat too as a means of refreshment.

This seems to be the major attraction centre in Calabar, it is serious need of overhaul. The government is not doing enough for tourism in the state. You can enjoy a nice cool drink of coconut while you walk around the resort...

A wonderful place to be. The vacation was awesome, we had lots of fun. The trip by speed boat to Twins Ireland was superb. My children and I saw, torched a live crocodile, for the first. The Museum, although made the children scared but was educative. Love the horse merry-go round, coconut drink and barbecue. It is a beautiful environment with large parking space. It's a good place for that family vacation.
