Indeed it was a wonderful Experience and i will possibly advice any new student of unical to give it a shot since there's almost 24hrs power and water supply

The University Hostel is popularly refers to as Malabor. The Malabor premises houses Hall 8 and 9. The hostel is a replica of the Nigerian typical environment. Though innovative work has been done of recent, more improvement is needed. Relatively the hostel is clean and spacious. More than four students stay in a room with foam, Waldrop and table.

They cook tasty meals in a beautiful ambience of Unical landscape.

Very nice with light and water, security and WiFi.. But poor ventilation and bad bed

It's a very nice place, it is also known as "Malabor Republic" because it has so many shops of different types and it has a very nice relaxation area.

Well, barely equipped hostel, I did say third class, but it's got stable water supply, and at least 7hrs of electricity every day

It's quite conducive and busy Can get anything at ease such as goods and services

The male hostel is located at malabor and girls are not allowed till 4 o'clock but you can call the person you want to meet to come down stairs

It has an open sit out,for both genders. It's has two big male hostels that accommodates all male unical students

It is the residential area for the male students (malabites) of the university of Calabar. It is located in malabor republic the heart of all hostels, malabor houses hall 4, 5 and 6. Hall 4 and 5 are for male while hall 6 is for females.

This is a student lodge and there's no lack of water or light. There is a common room, a laundry room too.

The Toilets are Unkept and buildings are very dirty, unpainted....not a healthy place to stay

This is the hostel for the male students of the university of calabar.Its consists of five halls,hall 4,5 and annex,hall 6 and scholarship hostel.It has a mini market within the hostel for the easy provision of day to day needs of male students.It has a cafeteria,fitness and exercise room,students open room,enough quantity of land for sports such as football, and there are churches very close to the hostel and a mosque too for religious purposes

The male hostel of University of Calabar. Popular for hotspots whenever you visit the varsity. Lots of hangout spot for students, you can get all your services and food from here as a student on low budget

It's amazing. A place of fun experiences, ups and downs, drama, memories and many more. It's underrated really.

The place is nice and lively but it still needs more work on the restrooms

Driver was very rude, and the price increased, you guys should emply drivers with nice attitudes if not you'll loose a lot of customers.., If I had my way I wouldn't have rated him at all because he's useless!
