I had a good stay here. They serve very good food - Please maintain this current chef. I was also pleasantly surprised by the gym, the equipments, and accessories in it. However, the hotel management may need to do a lot of maintenance on the rooms, especially the ceilings in the bathroom and bedrooms before it becomes a disaster 🤦🏽‍♀️ Ultimately, it's a lovely hotel for both business and pleasure.

The interior decor is fabulous, from the entrance to the rooms, to the restaurant it's all so beautiful. The food has a nice taste. They need to improve on the network, if you spending at least an hour at the restaurant it means you can't do anything online because of poor network. But the general view is breathtaking ☺️☺️

Provides premium value for money. Staff were friendly and always ready to provide service when needed. Kudos to the decor team as the exterior and interior decor is lovely and very picturesque. Perfect for a peaceful getaway as well as a fun night. I would suggest guests are told when the gate is to be closed and if the guest would like to return after that time, the night guard is informed ahead to avoid locking guests outside.

Meals ordered : Rice with Prawn in curry sauce, Jollof rice with peppered chicken. The starter was bread with goat meat pepper soup which was complimentary. The meals tasted nice, enjoyed them but I had to wait for almost 2 hours for my meal which made me unhappy. The Chapman was too basic. Overall, the experience was modest. I loved the relaxed ambience and soothing nature of the restaurant coupled with the affordability of the meals.

The hotel is designed beautifully but there were so many flies and when I and other people told them about it, they didn't say anything or do anything about the situation. When we noticed they had something that could be used to tame the insects, the staff said it wasn't working. The food took way longer than the amount of time (45 minutes) they said it will take for the meals to get ready. The staff does not listen attentively to what you order. There was a particular restaurant staff that started getting upset and tired that we made a complaint. Over all, it is well 🙁

What a great experience the place was wow if you have money you enjoy life

This is the worst experience ever!!! Went to find out about menus for a surprise birthday party at the restaurant and was told I couldn't see the chef!! When we explained that the group was vegan and will need to discuss a menu option, the waiting staff proceeded to call the manager. As the waiting staff was explaining to the Manager, he rudely asked why we wanted to see the chef! Please please please be aware of this type of horrid customer service at this place. The worst place for restaurant experience in Calabar ever.

I actually gym here the place is very nice and conducive,but if you wanna order food it takes lot of time to get prepared,but the pool,gym 100%

Excellent service, couldn't fault them. Keep up the good works. The staff are totally dedicated to their Job. Food is superb. The only thing uou have to do is book your rooms early.. they sell out very quick.

Lovely place!... They got a poolside bar, karaoke, sleek and cute mini bars, solid mortuary standard brewed beer, wine, good food and clean standard rooms. Solid taste in a good environment I must say it's classically delivered. Hogis is lit!

It's a relatively new hotel and every facility is still top-notch. Service was superb, although getting food takes way too long.

The Cafe was very nice. Cool little place you can relax, take nice photos and get some good pastries. The cookies were very thick and tasty

Hogis Luxury Suites is a hotel that hasn't been open for a year and a poor maintenance culture seems to be creeping in. It is best to avert your gaze from the stains on the roof in some of the rooms. Requests are not responded to as speedily as requests to make payments. Cleaning services are not spectacular for the caliber of hotel it tends to portray. I will be back when I know maintenance is done all over

Rooms are cool. What you see on the Internet is what you get physically. Heard the food is good but only had the red velvet & chocolate cake. Was told it was moist & fresh but neeehhhh They need a little "pick me up" in the food department cos the complaints ain't good.

Only in Calabar can a place like this sell itself as a luxury hotel. There is nothing luxury about it. The staff have bad attitude. The restaurant is a no go area for people with dietary needs. Vegetarians and Vegans shouldn't bother to come here because they are not welcomed. We had a big group we wanted to bring to a birthday party of one of our colleagues. We wanted the restaurant to accomodate the special food needs and the arrogant restaurant manager would not let us talk to the chef to be sure the food doesn't have things our guests are allergic to. At the end, we took our business to Transcorp and it's a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars we would have spent at their restaurant. People with special dietary needs should stay away.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. The cooling system in my room did not work very well. They supported it with a fan. I find this a bit awkward in a hotel like Hogis. They provided only one towel in the room. Considering the standard and price of the hotel, I think they can do better. The room service was slow. You may have to wait for 20mins or more to get a bottle of water. The staff were very friendly especially Uduak at the reception. I will like to stay here whenever I visit Calabar again

haven't been in the rooms, the environment is pleasant especially in the evening. The service however is half good. The food and drinks are affordable.

I confidently say this is the best hotel in Calabar. Nice rooms, good food and topnotch customer service. I stayed at 3 other different luxury hotels in Calabar , but Hogis was the best.

Lovely environment and their shawarma spot is the best I've had all my life. 10/10 the 2.5k was worth it

It a nice hotel, located in the heart of the town. The security is topnotch. The environment is perfect and admiring. I love the hotel and I recommend it to anyone that want convenience and security of where to stay. The cost of rooms ranges from 25k and above.
