Great location right by the beach and only 10 minutes from tunnel or ferry. Plenty of parking and restaurant was good and reasonable value. Beach area has been refurbished and plenty going on. Rooms were a little small, we had a third bed, but fine for a short stay. Clean and comfortable and would definitely stay here again for an overnight stop

Great little hotel on the beach. Easy to get to central Calais... Great food. Great service all in all. It's worth staying after a long drive, doing some shopping, and get the ferry back to the UK the following morning.

The check in was really easy and quick. The food was a normal breakfast buffet which was absolutely fine. The location is lovely because it is right on the beach, you stumble out of the door on to the sand, which is just beautiful! We were rather shocked about the rooms though, they were really run down (some rooms didn't have windows, they have like a door that couldn't be opened instead, which was really drafty). They were also not really very clean. And the walls seemed to be made of paper as you could hear every movement of your room neighbours (even the ones 3 or 4 rooms away). The rooms were also absolutely freezing cold like freezing cold, as there were no extra blankets, we ended up sleeping fully clothed. We're on the fence about whether we should book a room here again or not. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we booked 3 rooms for multiple people, which were on different floors, so we can't imagine having a different experience. But the price and location are truly wonderful.

This place is really WELL worth a visit both for the excellent food and drink and service as well as for the amazing view, cos this place is almost on the beach!!! I stayed only 1 night before taking the early ferry over to the UK. I was very lucky as when I arrived in Calais the wind was awful and thus the sea was very very angry and I observed the ferry boats being thrown up with each wave!!! SUPER lucky as the next morning all was calm. The hotel and food prices are excellent as is the food and the service, the room is not the Hilton but nor is the price!! VERY good experience I will surely visit again.

A clean, fit for purpose room which is dog friendly, what more can you ask for at this price! 🤔 well it also has excellent parking and free WiFi

Stayed here a few times now and each time has been a lovely stay. Staff are very friendly and polite. Beds very comfy and rooms decorated well. Breakfast is very yummy too! Must stay!

There were sand and hair on the bed when we arrived and the blanket in the closet made the whole room smell. The bathroom ceiling was full of black dots. Except for the beach and the hotel's restaurant there were barely any establishments within a 20 Minute walking distance.

Right on the beach. Great food go for the puddings every time. Mussels seem to be the thing here but did not partake

Nice hotel, 24/7 reception. We had two rooms for 5 people. The rooms where a bit dusty, some little bit where broken, but still functioning. I felt safe, but wouldn't spend a holiday there for this price - one night before the ferry was good though.

Good location right on the beach. Evening meal was really good and at a good price too, same with the breakfast buffet. The quality of the rooms is a let down though, really small and the picture of the single bed ‘round the corner’ is cleverly shot and doesn’t reflect the face these 2 beds are pretty much touching each other. Our bathroom door didn’t close let alone lock, the walls are paper thin so you can hear every noise inside and the windows let in all the noise from outside.

Very close to ferry Calais port, so perfect location for when you arrive or have to leave with the ferry. Rooms could be a bit more modern and have more plugs to charge phones, there was only one in the room. Food was very good with different choices in the menu. It's also great cause it's pet friendly!!

clean, friendly, great location and great price. ideal for before or after your channel crossing and right on the beach. if you or family or friends are skaters, bmxers or scooterers, there is an incredible skatepark a couple of 100 metres down the promenade. can't hear it from the hotel but it's impressive.

Ideal stopover if you're catching the ferry, rooms very clean and comfortable, kettle in room, free parking, right on the seafront. Also nice meal in the restaurant, good prices, but probably book for a Saturday eve as it got very busy

Very dirty room. Nice food but looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Really good location though

Lovely hotel on the beach and very reasonable price. Great location only being 5 mins drive from the tunnel. Also dog friendly for 10 euros. Definitely would stay again.

My partner's fish was undercooked ( not the best for a mainly seafood based restaurant) , but swiftly replaced with a replacement and fresh salad and chips. Vegetarian options were meagre, however, I admit is a given in France, but the burger that was a mound of breaded cheese was admittedly delicious, but certainly not the healthiest of options

We stayed at the hotel next door and we ate at the Restaurant de Plage. The food and the service were excellent and my steak was absolutely delicious. My wife's roasted sea bass was delicious too. I would certainly ease here again and recommend it to anyone good prices and Good Food excellent a good finish to the end of our holiday in France and Spain

Warm welcome, simple menu but very friendly staff who speak good English. Generous portions, we spent €100 including tip for 4 main meals, a pichet of wine, large beer and 3 soft drinks.

The good: Friendly staff (offered to heat up a meal we brought with us when we arrived late), good location near the beach, warm space, good shower pressure and temperature, breakfast option (available to pay extra - although we didn't use it), pet friendly (though will have to pay extra for it). The not so good: No toiletries (advertised that there were), few power sockets, small towels (only 1 per person and no face/hand towels), thin matresses, chipped and poorly maintained wall paint and fixtures

A bit of a chaotic place but they have a restaurant downstairs and are close to the tunnel. Book the restaurant in advance because the day we arrived they couldn't sit us and we had to order something from a different place. The place is Spartan and has seen better times, the guy checking us in was also answering the phone, so don't expect fast front desk service. Their saving grace is that one could take a dog in the bedroom, that was a life saver to be fair.

Highly recommend. They are pet friendly so I was able to keep with me my dog for all the duration of my stay and they managed to find a room for me last minute, saving me from having to sleep in the car! They take cash as payment and have a 24 hours reception. Just brilliant!

Nice area. Clean rooms. Good size. Nice shower/small bath. Good food. Good ßervice. Good value for money. A little difficult to find but that may have been due to one way system off ferry.

Stayed here one night as we were travelling further south. Good accommodation, clean, warm and a warm welcome. Situated right on the beach front. Restaurant had a good selection on the menu and very enjoyable. Definately stay again.

Arrived at night, stuff friendly and professional:) * different environment than on the pictures from Booking; very handy rooms on the ground floor- straight to parking and to my car ;) Which was wonderful for me, I always have with me a lot of pale ale ;-) Lovely. Can smoke outside your room doors.

The hotel seemed as though it was run by a group of teenage lads!!, having said that it did what it need to do. The location was perfect for the ferry, the room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was good, so for the money it was worth it and we will probably stay here again.

Very nice place with friendly personnel. Clean room. Well equipped bathroom with great showerhead and good water pressure. Breakfast buffet is very good with broad choice of foodstuffs. Dinner is also of good quality. Everything you may expect from a two star hotel and perhaps a bit more. I would definitely recommend a stay even for a short vacation. It's location near the beach is an absolute boon. Things to visit: Cap Gris Nez-Blanc Nez, Aquarium Nausicàa, Town Hall Calais

We asked for twin rooms and didn't get them. The restraunt closed earlier than the website said it would, and following this there was nowhere so sit with the rest of our group. All communal areas were locked and closed away. The rooms aren't well insulated from noise. They did let us take our bikes into the rooms which was good from a security perspective, and the staff were as useful/nice as they could be during our stay. Essentially it did the job on our first night of a London - Paris bike ride.

Very thin walls and loud music all night barely slept and had to get up early the next morning as well for the Euro tunnel. Loads of loud banging and crashing pretty much all night as well and people shouting and talking loudly outside. Low quality rooms with broken door handles etc

We arrived at 18:30 and were told food orders were not taken till 19:00which was fine. And definitely worth the wait. It was very busy for a Tuesday evening. 3 pints 2 large wines moules and frites X 2 less than €50 and all with a sea view.

The hotel is great for what it is and I would give four stars, but the restaurant is a shadow of its former self (it seemed to start going off around 2016/17). Why? I've eaten here for 15 years. It used to be a great traditional fish-focused restaurant with fresh fish. Fish and chips were amazing, with fresh fillets of fish beautifully cooked, scallops were perfectly cooked, and there were 4 or 5 freshly caught filleted fish options alongside some other specialties. Now, there isn't as much fish, instead pretty average stuff you could get anywhere. Some of the remaining fish dishes are incorrectly cooked, e.g. coquilles st jacques. And frying up frozen battered fish portions on the coast should be a crime! Nothing I have eaten there recently was particularly tasty so the restaurant is very average and may disappoint.

Nice hotel, very decent and inexpensive food. Convenient for overnighting in Calais, right across the road from the beach.

We eat here regularly every time we travel through Calais. Patronised by plenty of locals, always a good indicator. Reasonable competitive prices. Varied menu. Worth a try.

Rooms are basic, clean and well maintained but decor is a bit loud, large walls in bright colours not my choice but not bad. Tv, power point, free WiFi, sea views (optional extra), coffee and kettle so great basic hotel. Location is lovely. Right on the sandy beach with a nice promenade. Restaurant is great with a decent selection of dishes and reasonably priced. Breakfast here is good too. A great no frills place to stay for a night or two

Just missed our ferry to Dover, found this restaurant, where we had an excellent meal, good service. Would definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone, especially as food on ferry is not very good now, they don't have restaurant's on board now, only what they call ' grab and go'.
