𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶𝘀 | 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 This iBIS style is located in Calais city centre. Here you have everything from bars restaurants supermarkets. IBIS Staff very good, knowledgeable and informative. This hotel is very good for the rate you pay. Rooms are decent the only downside is no air conditioning. Recommended.

Small, modern hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was really OK. For one night the room too. Some Entertainment Options are available, Bar, Billard, Darts, also something for Kids. However, the hotel is located in a very busy street. The advantage is that if you want to go out for a meal or go to a bar, you won't have far to go. But there is also action until late at night.

Nice, very clean and affordable hotel in the centre of Calais. The staff were very friendly, there is a parking, and the breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly, but the room was the lowest quality Ibis Styles we’ve ever stayed at. Things to note before you book: Tiny car park, so pretty much no parking on-site the unless you’re super lucky. No air-con, should have checked this beforehand, but we’ve always had it at other Ibis Styles. This was especially unpleasant in the recent heatwave. No net curtains, meaning if you have the window open (which open inwards) you had no privacy from the adjacent buildings. Noisy. Because of no air-con, we had the window open and there was super loud music playing from the early evening until midnight. Tired, small rooms with tiny TVs. The wall mounted hairdryer kept cutting out and the electrical sockets were also faulty. The bed itself wasn’t too bad, but didn’t have a mattress protector, which I can’t imagine being that hygienic, especially with no air-con in a heatwaves.

I stayed here with friends. Unfortunately for me, it was very hot (I do not like the heat) and we had a problem with our fan. We asked for help from Elisa in Reception and she did everything she could to help us, sorting out our problem. Thank you for making our stay better. Helen

Reception very helpful. Very comfortable bedding, quiet and sound-proof rooms, great breakfast with large offer including FRESHLY pressed orange juice ! And eggs code 1FR! Relaxing experience in all. Will definitely be back.

The room we had was very clean and comfortable. It was a little on the small side particularly if you have cases but perfectly fine for a one night stay like us.

This hotel is located at an ideal spot near several restaurants and the town square. It is a short 3 minute walk to the water in one direction, or the park in the opposite direction. The room was small, but comfortable and there is an elevator, which is quite helpful. The bar is small and quiet and there is also a game room for the guests to enjoy. Breakfast was delicious, with an added bonus of fresh-squeezed orange juice. Absolutely recommend this for your stay.

A great stop if you arrive on a late ferry from Dover. Calais is understated and under-rated. The north of France might not have the sun, but the warmth of the people makes up for that. They also have some excellent restaurants in Calais. Breakfast at the Ibis Styles is great too. I can also recommend the plentiful free parking in the town. The ibis also has some enclosed open air parking. Great location too if you want to catch the train to Paris. The station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel for work in Calais. Very central location with plenty of restaurant choices close by and good location for walking around the harbour area. The hotel is as expected a low budget hotel but very clean and with a comfortable bed and pillows. Could invest in better chairs in the rooms and to not have a single English speaking TV channel is very strange especially when many guests seem to be foreign. I stayed in the building across the carpark which was OK but worth knowing. Very limited spaces for cars so please make sure you book as I wasn’t aware and had to search a lot and ended up in the back streets the first night. The breakfast(only continental) is OK, limited choice of cold cuts and would recommend the hotel to perhaps have sliced cheese instead of cut! The milk served is not cold as it's left out and not in a chilled environment. Very nice to have fresh oranges and a juice machine but question why the oranges aren’t kept cold instead of room temperature. Choice to boil your own eggs, that was OK. The quality of the bread was very poor and disappointing, even in IBIS in Dunkirk they have freshly baked breads and baguette. Similar for the pastries. Was very pleased with the staff, very friendly and accommodating.

It's a mediocre chain hotel. Nothing more nothing less. The breakfast is not bad at all. The rooms are very plain. No frills. Price is aligned with the amenities. They are pribably renovating: the corridors leading to the rooms are not really inviting (walls falling apart, ruined carpet...). The rooms are much better, though.

With a friendly, welcoming, happy team working at the reception / bar. Well prepared room. Secure Parking. What more could you ask for as a place to stay in the center of Calais.

Super friendly staff with basic but functional rooms. The hotel is right in the centre of Calais and everything is within walking distance. That said, the rooms are not air conditioned and if the weather is that warm that you need to open the windows - and you have a room facing the street - then it can be a little bit noisy.

We arrived at the hotel to find no parking available, this having not been clear online. We were given our room key and were disgusted by the state of the room - black mould, peeling paint, filthy sink and shower. No heating bar an aged plug in heater which was also filthy. There was mouldy food on the windowsill outside. The family room was far smaller than we would usually expect at an Ibis Styles. We did not feel at all comfortable staying here with our young children and therefore decided we had to request a replacement room or leave. On exiting the room, we realised that the fire door had been wedged open with old carpet tiles. The corridors were in as poor state as the room and the stairs were filthy. The only decent area was the lobby and dining room which had obviously been renewed to give a better veneer. On complaining we received no apology but were handed a different room key. It has to be said this room was far superior and had been at least partially refurbished - the shower was original and not ideal but the rest of the room was perfectly acceptable. Not what we expect from Ibis Styles and we use them a lot.

There was a worm welcome and very friendly staff. The location was in the center of town in a perfect location. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel could do with some fixes like the bathroom window gets stuck on the wood under it. Other than that the hotel was excellent. Big room and big shower. The staff were very knowledgeable and were excellent. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed at this Ibis a few times. We are always pleased by the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff are always welcoming. And this hotel is well located for all our needs for a short stay in Calais

No fuss good hotel in city centre. Clean, functional and good breakfast. Downsides: rooms quite small and if facing the high street very loud due to restaurants and clubs on that road especially during the weekend.

Stayed last night at the hotel on the way home back to the UK. No parking available as it was full which was annoying. We parked on the rd up from hotel. The hotel was nice clean good rooms / modern and fab breakfast. However from parking the van we saw police ambulances and lots of homeless begging for money and intoxicated. Real shame the rd was filled with fast food stores and had a really sketchy feel. I don't think we would stay again in this area as it didn't feel safe.

Great hotel, professional staff and ideal stopover point when waiting for PCR test results imposed by Eurotunnel.

Extremely kind staff at the reception and well provided breakfast. Stayed during the summer and I wish there was an A/C, but the fan was already in the room before I even asked for it 😊 A small thing that could be improved - a place by the sink where you can hang hand towel, otherwise it slips away from the sink.

Perfect budget hotel. Plentiful breakfast. No restaurant, but decent little bar. More importantly, slap bang in the middle town! Restaurants & bars right outside. Very helpful & friendly staff. Would use again.

Despite other hotels having a better sea view this is probably our favourite Calais hotel. Really friendly staff. Very clean and modern. Decent breakfast with lots of choice.

Super friendly staff both check in and out where fine. Breakfast was ver tasty and was kept well stocked. We had a accecible room it was spacious and wonderful. The shower is super spacious as its open plan. The only downside was the placement of the toilet. It's at a strange angle with the wall and thus cramped to sit on. Will book again though!

The hotel is well located and there is a parking but they do not answer your messages so you cannot book the parking in advance. I put 3 because the rooms a slightly below the level of the usual Ibis Style and the Leslie of communication. The staff is very kind and they are helpful however there was only 1 person in the evening dealing with check, customer request and bar ! I think this is not sufficient more and more the hotels managers forget we go in hotel for services no just to book a room ! Staff insufficient !

Great ,very helpful staff . Good breakfast. Good room to rear.Understand that those facing the road can suffer severe nightclub noise to 2am.

Good hotel in the center of Calais. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good as well. One small minus is because of its location during the weekend it could be noisy at night.

My room was small but perfectly formed, great open plan washroom. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful and pleasant, and suggested a lovely creole restaurant nearby. Two thumbs up for breakfast (Chia pudding!!) and safe car park (extra €15). I’ll stay again on the way back!

Room was clean and tidy. Great as it was split level for family... no fridge which was a bit of a disappointment and no tea or coffee facilities.. again a bit disappointing. Didnt get to take advantage of the free breakfast as we had to leave for 6am.. but no worries.

REVIEW BASED ON CANCELLED BOOKING! Wife and I booked a stay through booking.com and we had up until 3 days before the trip to cancel. Which was a Sunday night. Everything seemed good until the weekend when France started seeing a spike in cases. We thought it would be ok and waited but then realized that there would likely be a restriction to travel there. We missed the cancellation deadline by 14 mins and booking would not give us a refund... we had to go through the hotel. And since the restriction we faced was not an EU restriction (it was based on the company we work for)... they most certainly did not have to refund us anything. We sent the request to them through Booking.com and they, without hesitation, reimbursed us the full amount. I will be back to Calais again in the near future and will book at the Ibis.

The receptionist is very polite and charming. During my stay in Ramadan I asked if it was possible to get my breakfast before 6 am and it was. I understood that a coolk bakes croissants fresh each morning. Come on, that’s amazing. The lobby has everything you need. I ate my delivery dinner in the lobby instead of my room. My room has a comfortable queensize bed with pillows so comfortable and bed so smooth I had a great nap. The room is small but it has a balcony!
