It was a very nice experience, watching it first from the outside is probably better then seing of you want to ride it. It was around 10 euros per person so quite cheap and this is after all one of the main attraction in the city of Calais. The ticket place also has a restaurant area which we did not eat from.

My husband and I LOVED it! Don't even think about it-just do it! Great for a quick stop off when in Calais by car or walkable from the town centre. So reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cocktails were ok, sadly overpriced. Great little gifts in the gift shop. Don't forget to have a go operating yourself on the lizard outback. I can't wait to see what these marvelous minds make in the future! How about a crazy machine that collects spare change? We would have happily put lots in towards future projects.

The design, craftsmanship, engineering and mechanical wizardry that went into the constructing this dragon is incredible! The whole dragon is animated. The head and neck, the legs and tail, eyes and mouth, even its tongue! It's growling, spitting steam, water and fire! It is truly a sight to behold, a must see! Truly amazing!

Popped into the sea front at Calais and found this free attraction! It's an amazing piece of engineering that was of real interest to all and particularly young kids. Parking was free and close by.

It’s an enormous mechanical dragon that roams along the Calais sea front breathing fire! Check the times on the website, anyone can go and watch which would be a great experience in itself, or for about €10 you can ride on its back, which is a great experience especially for kids. You’re quite exposed so wrap up warm if the weather is cold! When we visited the live commentary was all in French but the guide was happy to answer questions in English.

It's amazing, blows fire, steam and squirts water, I got soaked and all the other tourists laughed as they knew what was coming. The dragon is not Welsh, but it's at least a Celtic one being French. Very popular attraction 👍

The Calais dragon is a new tourist attraction. Riding the dragon seems very popular with all ages We saw it in operation blowing fire, steam and smoke as it paraded along the seafront.

Brilliant Dragon Company, ride on the back of the Dragon, around the beach area of Calais. While the operators control the Dragon, his tail swishes from side to side and the squirts water. The operator for his head can make the Dragon breath fire and squirt water. His wings come out and move up and down, it is so realistic. The journey lasts up to 30 minutes for you to go from where you embark the dragon to where you disembark by the skate park. But you can get on and off at various points around the promenade. It's great for children they love seeing it coming along and getting wet when he squirts water. Maybe a bit frightening for younger children as he is a large dragon. Great idea for a tourist attraction.

You can ride a dragon! Admittedly it's a mechanical dragon, but still a dragon! The area around Dragon Company is kid heaven, amazing skatepark, wide walkways, play areas.

Very striking dragon! We only got there as it was going to bed but it looks stunning. I’m sure kids would love it, and the staff we spoke to were all really nice and helpful (special mention for the guy who showed us the iguana and explained what it was about. In the dark. On his own time.)

I did not have the chance to be in the dragon but from outside, this attraction seems incredible and amazing. This is located on the walk corniche in Calais, nice area to have a walk, ride a bike or simply enjoy the sea and ferries entering the port.

👍👍 Spent around 15 minutes in this park. Quite a lot of picturesque statues and whatnot. There is this very nice french map metal structure which is Greta for taking photos. Overall a great park to come and relax also. Would definitely recommend to all ages and family.
