The place is run a very nice laid back family with nice views of the rice paddies the room is simple A/C but no tv. Nice simple breakfast bowl of fruits and a couple chocolate croissant. Good value for your money. The only thing is you must be a dog lover as they have some dogs and puppies in the area (this seems to be common with most of canggu)

Great place. Love the bed, the bathroom, the view (I stayed on 2nd floor), and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. The people are friendly and very respectful for your privacy. They serve free breakfast too (a bowl of fruits with 2 bread).

Great location in the heart of Canguu. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Very handy to be able to walk everywhere. Clean and well managed. Friendly staff and nice pool. Highly recommend.

Good value hotel in a great location. Hotel was very quiet and in a central location; easy to walk to the beach, shops, love anchor market and all of the best restaurants in town. Quite a few ants in our room but it wasn't a big deal. As vegans, we ate the small fruit bowl provided free for breakfast. Staff doesn't speak much English but they were kind. Nice to have access to a fridge and hot water for drinks. Hot shower though the shower head had a lot of build up and didn't spray straight down. Our king bed was just 2 twin beds pushed together but we didn't mind. Good value for the area.

Very nice view of rice paddies from outside. Decent size room and very clean and new bathroom. Place is run by very friendly family. Breakfast is included. They serve you bowl of fruits and croissant with chocolate. Very isolated and calm. Very good value. The only concern is that there is a lots of dogs and some are not so friendly - I guess it might be normal in canggu area. So you must be dog lover/ tolerate them.

Great place. Good value for money. Very clean All the time. You have an area with cold and hot water. Kitchen. Fridge. Etc. The only “issue” is that the staff don’t speak a great English, but to be honest it doesn’t really matter. They are amazing. Nice room. Nice bathroom. Great shower. Love it

Great stay here at Canggu HBD. Clean, spacious rooms with tasty breakfast.The only thing is that the little side road to the place is not paved, so when it rains it gets a bit messy, but the place itself is a good combination of price and value.

Beautiful place with an amazing family that runs the homestay, clean and cozy lovely breakfast delivered to you room each moring !!! Close enough to walk to the beach, far enough from nosy clubs/bars for quite nights sleep!

+ so quiet!!, clean, kitchen area, drinkwater, hot shower, friendly staff, 60k for a scooter, fresh fruit salad for breakfast - hard bed but I would definitely come back! See you and thank you!

Very kind staff and the room was well maintained, the place is quiet and has a nice view, but the wifi is just terrible and there was a garbage truck parked on the parking area so it smells like what it is

At this price we were quite satisfied, amazing location, near so many top notch restaurants and an easy stroll to the beach. Spacious room, free filtered water nice pool and friendly staff. Fixtures and fittings in the bathroom could be improved, and you must shower quickly if you want any hot water. Beds are on the hard side, so depends what you prefer. It's not luxury, but we really enjoyed our stay.

Ideal location, nice big room and good value for money. In addition, I left my iPad in my room and didn’t realise for a few days. Upon realising this, and having moved on to Uluwatu, the team at Canggu HBD were super helpful in helping me get my iPad back - arranging for a man to collect my iPad from the accommodation and drive it down to Uluwatu for me. I very much appreciate their helpful response to my forgetfulness!
