Short walking distance from Canmore city! The view is amazing with lake, tree, grass and mountains. The contrast between human-made structure and the nature look great in a photo. The route is easy to walk (mostly flat). There’re chairs for you to rest. We saw some people fishing as well. For the view, please watch the attached video for your reference.

This is a great trail to walk or bike with. And along the trail, there are benches you could relaxed on and be amazed of the gorgeous view 😊☺️. You can find a parking spot (if not busy) at the Riverside Park (and I believe it’s free parking).

So beautiful. A short hike along the river and you'll cross a small bridge before getting to the Canmore Engine Bridge. Many helpful signs about the area, including how they use the water flow to create electricity. Saw some wildlife along the paths as well. Very easy hike with very scenic views.

I love this place. It is very easy walkable distance from Canmore downtown. Underneath of the bridge, you can go down to the water. Many people were boating, playing water, or having a nap next to the water like beach :) it is a good place to visit, and walk / ride a bike along the lake as well.

Nice old bridge near the Canmore recreation center. Start point for a nice hike trail to spot some local wildlife. According to our guide the bridge has been used as a decor for the set of "the last of us" series based on the PlayStation game. The series will be released in 2023 starring Pedro Pascal (Narcos & the Mandalorian).

This is a beautiful location. A bit overcast when we went, but still a very nice place with pretty mountain views. Parking is a bit challenging to find and Google maps takes you to a random neighbourhood with permit parking. We parked on Fairholme Drive.

Don’t forget to veer off the main path (good footwear) for more amazing photo angles! Make the walk short or long - flat on most places - just watch for tree roots off the main path.

Beautiful area, walking and stroller friendly (no stairs). Many benches to relax and have a look at the river. Awesome sights to the mountains!

Very picturesque stop on the way back to Calgary from Banff. The water is a magnificent blue green and there are mountains all around. The bridge itself is beautiful too and is slightly hidden which makes it even more of a gem

This is a beautiful, must see, easy, trail not hike. Perfect for biking or stroller use for kids. The path is mostly gravel. There are several off trail walking paths towards the water that also has nice benches. Perfect place for a stroll if in the area.

Hike the bow river trail, more like walk. You can take strollers for kids and other bikes. The colors are so beautiful and the mountains give a proper depth to the views. You cannot swim at the bridge but walk along the hike and you can dip in

Easy trail to get to the bridge. Beautiful views of the mountains and river. Bench seating. Nice and nostalgic bridge, popular with hikers and joggers.

Very easy walk to see the bridge. Relaxing to see the mountain facing anywhere. Parking can be very tricky and hard to find.

One of my favourite spots in Canmore. Stopped for some lunch at the bench. Peaceful and quiet with the water flowing and gurgling by. Fans of HBOs The Last of Us will remember this bridge from a very famous scene. Whether scenery or serenity, this is one of Canmore's most beautiful spots.

We came here around sunset and it did not disappoint! The walk to the bridge is very short (5 minutes) and we got a view of the river and it was beautiful Also cool spot for The Last of Us fans!

This is really beautiful hidden gem in the Canmore town. I have been visiting this town from many years but didn’t know about it’s existence. My friend told me about this few months ago and I have already visited this two times. This bridge is beautiful and good for walking and cycling. It’s a must visit place.

What a great hidden gem in Canmore! Visited for a short time and loved how the spring was blooming here. There are so many trails and hikes available and places to sit and eat in between. The bridge itself is picturesque and offers great views that help you relax! Will definitely go ahead and explore more.

Beautiful bridge off of downtown Canmore. There are benches along the river to sit and relax and the views of the Bow are amazing.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love Canmore Alberta. There is something so amazing about being surrounded by open air, water and mountains. This recent trip was so much better than the last one pre covid. We stayed in Banff during our previous trip and stayed in Canmore on this one. I really was able to appreciate the differe...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great muscle burning trail, very well maintained, but cleats are necessary and poles would be helpful. The views along the trail are amazing and from the top - simply off the charts πŸ‘Œ 😍. You can stop at the Saddle, which is the middle part of Ha Ling mountain, or go to the very top, which is qui...
