We
stayed
at
Hotel
Martinez
for
a
week
at
the
end
of
September.
Upon
arrival
the
staff
was
welcoming,
attentive
and
quick.
The
hotel
has
undergone
an
extensive
renovation
and
truly
delivers
the
“wow”
factor
you’re
looking
for
when
visiting
Cannes.
One
big
thing:
there
is
STILL
extensive
construction
being
done
to
the
spa
and
pool
(both
out
of
service)
which
can
be
heard
and
seen
if
your
room
faces
east.
We
were
aware
of
the
construction
before
booking
and
made
sure
to
book
a
premium
room
to
avoid
this
and
have
had
zero
issues
or
complaints.
We
booked
a
Junior
Suite
with
Terrace
which
was
beautiful.
It’s
technically
a
studio
and
not
a
one
bedroom
suite
but
the
size
and
view
of
the
terrace
make
it
worth
while.
The
entire
staff
(both
on
the
beach
and
in
hotel)
were
beyond
friendly
and
accommodating.
Ordered
room
service
for
a
glass
of
wine
which
came
in
under
10
minutes.
Our
room
was
cleaned
by
the
time
we
returned
from
breakfast,
every
day!
Concierge
is
open
24/7
and
is
incredibly
friendly,
efficient
and
helpful.
The
beach
club
can
be
expensive:
$70-40
for
day
beds
(per
person),
this
is
not
included
in
the
price
of
the
room.
I
would
say
it’s
worth
it
-
the
beach
is
the
main
attraction.
The
pros
DEFINITELY
outweighed
the
cons
for
us,
but
TLDR
things
to
know
before
booking:
-
No
pool
(as
of
October
2021)
-
No
spa,
just
massages
and
facials
being
offered
in
a
small
room
on
the
2nd
floor
-
Major
construction
being
done
to
the
interior
of
the
building
(facing
east)
