Stayed at Carlton for 6 night. The moment we arrived with our car, no one helped us unload it and then they left our luggage for over an hour in the sun while we were are our room waiting for them and called 3 times. Our luggage of course had cosmetics inside that were melted due to the direct sunlight and hot weather. Rooms are very old, mattresses and pillows should have been replaced years ago, our bathroom had a clogged bathtub so we had to wash having our feet in 5cm of water, one of the cleaners left a dirty cloth inside my toiletry bag which is disgusting, even more now days, having this cloth touching my toothbrush and my cosmetics. People were smoking weed in their room so in most floors the smell was really bad and in the smell was coming into the room too. No sound proof rooms as we could hear everything from other rooms in other floors. Service was terrible, no room service, valet service cost 45 euros per night and it took them at least 20 minutes to bring our car. Beach service was charged extra, at prices ranges between 65-150 euros even if you were a hotel guest. Service at the breakfast was extremely slow and staff was arrogant too. There was a lot of noise during the day as there is construction at the back of the hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel experience, waste of time and money.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and great customer service! Many shops nearby are making it easy for the travellers to enjoy Cannes. Hotel is located right on the beach side. Perfect place for those who come to Cannes movie festival.

Iconic hotel in the heart of Cannes. It is on the Croisette, surrounded by high end shops and restaurants. Has a pool and nice cabanas. The breakfast was included in our stay. They offer valet parking. We had a gorgeous sea view room. Professional and friendly staff.

We just returned form a three week stay at the newly renovated Carlton Hotel. It was wonderful to be back after its over two year renovation. The hotel is magnificent and the new Bar and Tea lounges are breath taking. Our room was beautiful and we were so happy to see so many of our favorite staff members had returned! The Valet Staff even gave us the warmest welcome! We always feel at home here and Emmanuel and Veronique see to it that we do. We love the breakfast on the terrace and were so happy to see many of our favorite servers have also returned. The hotel kept everyone they could on staff during the closure. The new pool area and fitness center are wonderful and have added another dimension to the hotel. They even have a boxing ring in the fitness center! The beach club provides the same wonderful experience. Ludwig and Francois make each guest feel special and you cannot get a better beach experience than sitting on the Pier at the Carlton. Many thanks to the concierge staff that handles all our reservations so beautifully. Yes, as with any new hotel there are some growing pains. I am sure they will be handled and we look forward to our annual trip to the Carlton next year. It was wonderful to see that so many of our friends had also returned. If you are heading to Cannes I am sure you will have a wonderful stay at the one and only Carlton!

My partner and I spend the past weekend at the Carlton and little did I know he was planning to propose during our stay! As soon as the staff were made aware of the proposal, they went above and beyond to help plan and facilitate a romantic breakfast proposal and from what my partner told me, they all seemed so excited, which made him feel better about the proposal. They definitely created a romantic atmosphere, and something to remember for the rest of our lives. The staff are very friendly providing amazing service to everyone who walks through the doors. We will definitely be back and a huge thanks once again to all the staff who made our proposal so magical.

The bar, and restaurant at the beach is consistently good. Costumer's Expectations are always met. Service, food and ambiance are good

This was one of the best iconic hotels I’ve ever been. We had an ocean view with balcony. Excellent service. Very pricey but well worth it. We will definitely be back next year. I loved the bedding, specially the comforter in the room. I am curious what was the filler. If the management can respond I will appreciate it. It was something so unique and so comfortable to sleep in.

Wonderful gem, from the staff, to the historical building, and the amazing wine and food. The gym was empty and clean every day though I opted for outdoor runs along the beautiful coast. Some runners and lots of cyclists in the morning. Room service was quick and delicious. I visited in Feb 2020 and half the beach was undergoing restoration predicted for completion by summer 2020. However, the other half was open and beautiful. The water was very cold. I strongly encourage renting a motorcycle and riding down the coast as far as your heart desires.

From the first warm greetings by the doorman, reception, and restaurant staff this was truly five stars. This was my wife's and my first visit to this beautiful hotel but hopefully not our last. Our weekend was made even more special by the lady at reception kindly upgrading our room. Thank you. The breakfast was all that we expected and more. As for the hotel building itself it was decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations. Rich, simple but very effective, so not over the top. Just right. The main reason for staying at Intercontinental Carlton was it's link as a location to one of my wife's favourite feature films, Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief starring screen legends Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. There are even suites named in their honour. The location is fantastic on the Croisette Promenade. Although there are construction renovations happening to parts of the promenade now in the off season this does not detract from the exceptional stay at the Carlton. The custmor service is outstanding, one of the best beach clubs I’ve ever visted. The food is tasty and a biy pricey. Over all it deserves a visit.

This is a perfect hotel. Stayed their twice in October 2023 right after a remodel. If you think of a real 5 star hotel this is it an worth every penny. The rooms are perfect (bed, bath, amenities, etc), the gym was the best we have ever seen, and the amenities are top notch. Service from start to finish from every single person was perfect as well. We will be back again and would be surprised if there are better options in Cannes.

Great position on the beach and very warm staff.

Excellent service in a beautiful classic hotel. We were fortunate enough to have stayed here for a couple of nights during our travels in the French Riviera. All of the little details matter at this hotel. The pool, bar, and grounds were standouts for us. The staff were so friendly and spoke English perfectly well.

Magnifique! Stayed for 7 days and everything was amazing. The service, the hotel, the attention the detail was impeccable. Daily breakfast was delicious and fresh. Centrally located and the beach club was also great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Cannes❤️🇫🇷👌🏼

The suites were much larger than anticipated and after a three year hiatus due to construction, Cannes has opened back up with a bang. Everyone is very accommodating and the food is presented delicately. I look forward to returning in Spring 2024.

Spent 5 days at the Carlton Cannes booking 2 rooms for my mother and I. There were some aspects of our stay we enjoyed but others not so much. To start, when you are paying +1k USD a night (for each room) you would expect the basics such as a perfectly working AC... especially given its July. Every morning we woke up hot and sweaty... the AC was incredibly weak. I had the maintenance come who said they fixed it which was not the case.. I see now in the reviews that this is a common problem in the rooms. Other items we were not a huge fan of was the pricing on all miscellaneous items. Everything is ridiculously priced (even more than the top hotels in Saint Tropez). 14 euros for one of the mini diet cokes at the beach club? Outrageous. Note, when you know your bill will be +15K for the two rooms you are not thinking or budgeting 10s of dollars... I mention this as its just the principal and that you feel the hotel is really trying to pry every dollar out of you. Aesthetically hotel is beautiful and has some potential moving forward if things change. Mention that as right now it is running off the hype of the renovation which will fade. Lastly, service is fairly good but not for what they market the property as or what is priced at. My hotel room wasn't even ready until 2 hours after my check in.. To sum it up it wasn't a bad stay but value wise I would go for the competing property a short walk down the Croisette. The hotel has potential but unless things change I feel the property will only be making money in August the few weeks the Qataris, Saudis, and Gulf people come in for their holiday.

The service was excellent. welcoming, and adaptive. Good energy between them and so accommodating with the menu. Followed all the COVID regulations Main issues was there was no complimentary drinks for the lounge chairs and no feminine hygiene products available in the restrooms
