We booked this restaurant well in advance not knowing a thing about it and we are glad we did. This place is amazing. Small restaurant that managed to feature in the Michelin guide. A 10/10 place. It's so hard to find interesting restaurants these days, and this is one of them. A tiny little 26 seater personifies elegant simplicity. This one chef, one waiter restaurant has charm in spades. From his tiny kitchen, chef Omar dishes up food that appears simple but has excellent mastery of flavours. The butternut soup is probably the best version of this dish I've ever had - and I used to be a restaurant reviewer so I've eaten a lot of soup. Service is a little brusque, but I think it's very understandable as it's a lot of tables for one person to manage. The restaurant serves only one menu - a surprise, four course €60 set menu (though I did notice some plates had variations, so dietary requirements can be catered for, but best to advise them in advance when booking). Decent wine list too.

Great experience!! Such a cute little place and food was amazing. Staff including the chef were very welcoming. Two points of improvements are that they seemed a bit understaffed and was hard to get their attention.., mostly just running around. They also seemed to run out of ingredients by end of night. "Biscuits" were missing from our dessert compared to table next to us. All the other dishes were amazing though! Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

Overall, have to give full 5 stars as the food on 4-course surprise menu is superb, especially the soup and fish courses. Went here 2 night in a row, had to book a table as the place gets sold out. Only 1 waiter the second night, but with good company I didn’t mind the waiting. Recommended

The most pleasant surprise we could have encountered. “Surprise menu” every dish was flavorful and delicious. The chef came out and talked with all the customers, which was really nice. Would come back every month for the surprise menu.

Excellent meal! The restaurant is tucked away from the busy Cannes chaos and is a nice escape from the glitzy and sometimes pretentious places. We had the best meal we’ve had in the week we spent here. Delicious ingredients and combinations. My husband and I don’t eat meat and they were very accommodating in changing the meat dish to fish (we did call beforehand to ask). It’s a set, 4 course, surprise menu- 1 starter, 1 fish, 1 meat and 1 dessert. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!

I don’t recommend it, especially not during summer holidays. We were very disappointed. Dinner is limited to a very basic, easy to cook and assemble set menu, only. Portions are very small. The service is very slow. The worst part are 14 Euro cocktails consisting of canned juices. When complained about them, the waiter said that they are too small of a restaurant and not a bar to offer fresh juice based drinks. Did not offer replacement. If you cannot make a decent cocktail, don’t put it on the menu. Bread is served with no butter or olive oil. Not sure how this restaurant got such high reviews. For 75 Euro per person bill, you are better off to have a delicious 21 Euro cocktail in Hotel Martinez and have a dinner anywhere on La Croisette.

The best dinner I had in Cannes! Definitely worth the price! Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! It is a surprise menu and changes once a while, definitely recommend! I do think the food was phenomenal! Make your reservation early because it is very popular!

We tried the surprise tasting menu and we could not recommend it more. The taste of every single dish was full of umami and felt like a hug, left us wanting more even tho we were full. The service was impeccable and both servers were so kind and thoughtful. If you’re looking for a good eatery in Cannes, this is the place to go.

Everything is tasty. Chef Omar is exceptional. Do not leave Cannes without visiting this restaurant.

Perfect dinner in Cannes made even better with fantastic wine selection. Menu consisted of 4 surprise courses and everything is exactly what you would hope for. 4 glasses of wine and 4 courses came out to a very reasonable 83 Euros, especially considering some of the more touristy places down the street.

Michelin level presentation and dishes in a cozy, not so pretentious space. We ate the single daily surprise menu available and all was delicious. At the end the Chef offered us some limocello shots on the house :). A very nice experience & will return when in Cannes!

The best meal we have had in Cannes. Also, the service was amazing. Really, a great place to go if you'd like to taste something you never knew existed. It's not every day that you leave a place feeling really happy. Would definitely recommend.

A family-run small cozy restaurant. We came for lunch and were treated with a typical 3-course French meal. Very satisfying.

We absolutely loved this small, intimate restaurant. Omar serves a prix fixe, 4 course meal. The meal was so good, we returned for a second night. The meal is listed as a surprise, with the only information being 4 courses of an appetizer, a fish plate, a meat plate and dessert. The dishes are highly creative, tasty and eye appealing with an abundance of flavor.

This restaurant has been always good. Simple restaurant with home gourmet food, no set menu. The chef determines the menu according to the market ingredients and his personal preference for the day. Always good surprises on the menu.

Dinner autumn 2022. Four guys with interest in food. Small and nice place in some "random" street in Central Cannes. - Expectations were high. - Server was helpfull, but I expected more (leveling and kindness), and also more details about food - Food is always a set menu of the day. Exciting!!! But.. if you sat what other people had, you might be bored, because you are served the same. Maybe a dish changes now and then, but all the things we were served was commonly pictured here. - Food was well prepared, and was tasty. No complains. Thank you. We appreciated the experience !

Fantastic little restaurant with excellent food and service, they don’t have a menu, you get whatever 4 courses the chef has prepared that evening, but you wont be disappointed.

I have lived in France for a year and this is the best meal I have had BY FAR. Its hard to describe how tasty, thoughtful, complex and yet simply good this restaurant is. Love the fact that although the food is top quality and ultra sophisticated, the atmosphère is relaxed and cozy. Pricing is great relative to quality. Do yourselves a favor and go to this place :)

The most amazing restaurant we visited in French Rivera. The food is delicious, the service is professional and atmosphere is cozy. I thought I didn't like pumpkin before I tried their pumpkin soup. Magic outside of Hogwarts! All the dishes in menu were exceptional.
