Such a great experience visiting Dr Laylah. She’s extremely gentle, kind and has a lot of patience. I had my Pap smear done and many told me that it would be a horrible thing to experience but Dr Laylah made sure I was comfortable and she was gentle. I also had my implanon removed, she made sure the anesthesia worked before going in for the removal. She was explained everything to me before she started, most doctors don’t always do that but Dr Laylah is very passionate so you can see she loves to inform you. I was also just telling her about the history of myself having a bad ear and she was kind enough to even have a look at it, which was so kind of her to do. Will definitely be back to see her again. She’s also very affordable.

I’ve consulted with Dr Laylah both physically and virtually before. Her rooms are beautiful and cosy, she is super kind and thoughtful! She would take the time to listen to you and treat you accordingly, without prescribing a bunch of unnecessary meds which any South African would appreciate! 10/10 would recommend 🙂

Dr Laylah is most definitely the best doctor that I have been to! She is very thorough and empathetic in her history taking. She was welcoming from the moment when she walked into the practice all the way through to the last minute. I really appreciate the fact that she was willing to refer me to specialists that were closer to where I live. She also went out of her way to help me find affordable options of treatment. Dr Laylah most definitely validated my fears and concerns and took her time to educate and promote health in a way that was unique to me. I have had the lovely pleasure of consulting with Dr Laylah Fayker. I consider her to be more than a doctor, she is a friend. I struggled with my previous Dr and left due to unhappiness on the service etc and I found a home in her. She continues to be a great doctor and I cannot wait until I move my son over when he gets older!

Consultation was fine but good luck trying to get an invoice out of them after your appointment. If you’re not going to take medical aid as a practice, at least supply the client with an invoice to do the claim themselves? I would’ve gone to another GP if I knew I was going to have to pay out of pocket with no option of getting my money back. After paying so much for medical aid every month, it irritated me that I had to ask several times for something so basic and I after numerous follow ups 11 days later, I still have not received anything.

Friendly yes. I paid R570 for a consultation and all she could say was what she “thinks”, I’m in pain and need a correct diagnosis. Next thing she checks my blood pressure and says everything is perfect and hands a script to buy my own medication , waste of money and time , I’m so mad. I paid R600 , change was supposed to be R30 did she not give me R10. I don’t know if it’s cause I was her last patient for the day & she was tired but I’m never going back there.
