We always love going there whether we are a large group of friends and family or a smaller, intimate family or friends group or even as a solo visitor it's always worth my time as the place is always fun with the most beautiful sights and scenery. It's also enclosed so can't get too busy and too full with too many people. I love getting there early, spending the whole day and having a good time. There are always security guards inspecting the place incase some misbehaved people bring alcohol which is not allowed on the beach. They are friendly and great to interact with. There are also Municipal workers every morning cleaning up the beach so it's always clean. The water is lovely and cool, very much needed for these hot African summer days and everyone has a good time from young people to the oldest

Clifton beach is one of the best beaches to visit when in Cape Town. It is not too far from the city centre and easy access for everyone. The beach is very clean and safe for everyone and hiring of chairs and umbrellas are also available at the beach and a great place to see the sunset. The beach can get very crowdy by both locals and visitors so get there early to get a nice spot. There are also some great place to eat and drink such as The Bungalow.

One of the most stunning locations in Cape Town that you should see is Clifton Fourth Beach. It occasionally gets windy. Even when it's sunny, the water there is so cold that it makes swimming difficult, but overall it's the finest place to spend your holiday.

My first time at Clifton 4th. Wanted to see what the hype was about. The clouds spoiled all the fun though. 😒 The water was really blue even with the prevalent clouds. I can't wait to see what it looks like when the sun would be out. Will definitely go see it again at another time. It was also nice that there was barely anyone there.

Boom! I had a rich experience at the Clifton Beach in Cape Town. Why should you visit this town and not got to Clifton Beach? It has a good view in the day and in the evening. It is a place to relax and chill with friends. Bring your ball along for volleyball or just sit with a book in your hands to read. It is a place to watch out for to just sip in a good amount of sunshine. Do have a great time visiting.

Clifton 4th Beach is an absolute Must-Go when in the Cape Town area. It has the best beaches, warmest water, and is only a stones throw away from Camps Bay or Sea Point. Making it quick and easy to have a nice relaxing day on the beach outside of the city, but able to head in quickly for a bite to eat or a coffee and tea. The sand is smooth and light, the water is almost neon blue, and on days where the sun is shining hard there no better place to lay down and catch a tan. Parking is extremely convenient, just park above the stairway and descend down to your favorite spot. Lay out a towel and enjoy. Ubers are extremely popular here and the wait is never long. There are also some large boulders to the left hand side if you want to do some exploring or jump off them into deeper waters. All the Clifton beaches are excellent for a nice morning or afternoon jog. You'll see many people doing it throughout your time time here.

My favorite beach in Clifton. It’s perfect visiting in the afternoon with your friends and family it is very safe however you should be aware that the water it’s very cold. All in all a great experience and also the gentleman who sell ice cream and sodas are super friendly as well.

We love this beach. We arrived around 730am on Friday morning and it was perfect. It began getting busier after 830 or so. It’s a beautiful place to take beautiful photos, enjoy a cold swim, sunbathe, or take a nice stroll. You can walk to the other Clifton beaches as well. Clifton 1 is a private beach and has a lot of dog poop everywhere. I personally do not like that. Clifton 2 has a lot of young fun people. Clifton 3 we’ve heard is mostly gay men but we didn’t necessarily notice that last time. We saw a lot of families and couples there as well. Clifton 4 had a lot of families. Great experience. Drinks and ice cream vendors can be a big annoying. Water is cold but enjoyable. Arrive early as parking is limited or take an UBER.

This was our first time at Clifton 4 and it's a lovely beach. Very clean with beautiful views all around. It felt a bit more intimate than other beaches in the area, but it was also quite busy when we arrived with both locals and visitors apparently having a great time.

What can I say. Beautiful beach that’s nice and sheltered when the wind is howling. The walk up and down the steps seems to be enough to keep out enough people so it doesn’t get that crowded and it’s just awesome really.

Beach was very nice. Lots of families. Minimal wind which made it very enjoyable. Clean. Good bathroom facilities. Only downfall is that there is no restaurant on the beach, only a little shop selling snacks. Water too cold to swim also. Renting of chairs and umbrellas available. Definitely recommend this beach.

This beach is extremely popular. I highly recommend that you go early to have a wholesome time and thoroughly enjoy the views, space, rental equipment and the beach as a whole. It is a buzzing environment. The water is usually very beautiful and clear but super cold... swimming here is not for the faint hearted but it's perfect for a little volley ball and tan in the sun... weather allowing ofcourse 😌
