👍 Such a cool little Tidal pool. Tons of boulders and smaller rock pools for the kids to climb and splash about. The rocks are great for tanning. The infinity pool vibes that you get from walking on the submerged walkway during higher tides is also really cool. Quite busy, and the water was freezing.... Such a cool little Tidal pool. Tons of boulders and smaller rock pools for the kids to climb and splash about. The rocks are great for tanning. The infinity pool vibes that you get from walking on the submerged walkway during higher tides is also really cool. Quite busy, and the water was freezing... so not everyone's cup of tea.... but we loved it. I would not say this spot is wheelchair accessible. As there is a very steep staircase climb down onto the sand. And the Bloulders would make it impossible to navigate.

Nice hidden gem of a beach. There's almost always (free) parking, really close to the water, and there's a tidal pool. The sand is much more coarse (sea shells) compared to camps bay. The buildings behind you also mean that there's lots of shade in the morning on the sand.

Great sunset rocks & tidal pool. Can easily get busy and full. But the sunset views make it worth the drive. Love this spot. Ideal for dates.

Popular beach with rockpools, attracted numerous cold water enthusiasts. Walk along promenade always uplifting and invigorating. Recommend this open air activity.

Perfect place to watch the sunset or have a swim in the tidal pool. On very hot summer days the water temperature is perfect. Lovely spot for families with small kids. Free parking, almost never crowded.

Saunders Rock Beach in Sea Point, Cape Town, is admired for its natural tidal pool, where visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim while taking in picturesque views of the ocean. The rocky surroundings add a unique charm to this coastal spot.

Saunders Rock beach is situated at the end of Seacliff Road between Seapoint and Bantry Bay. The rocks are great for fishing bronze bream and the odd galjoen. Swimming is on the dangerous side but snorkeling and spearfishing is good. Walkways are well paved and toilets are clean. Recommended for outdoor activities.

A lovely little rock beach, in an an upscale area equipped with a wonderful tidal pool. Due to the height of the rocks (you have to take stairs down from the promenade so it is NOT the most accessible beach), there is no wind - so you can enjoy the sun without those famously strong Cape Town gusts of wind. The tidal pool isn't the biggest in the city, and can get crowded easily - which is why the tidal pools a little further out of central(ish) cape town are my preference. But for quick, easy to reach, relaxation time this is an excellent choice.

👍 Very nice beach with the Vista of table mountain's twelve apostles. Right by the road so there are cafes to get some lunch or drinks, but there are salespeople selling ice-cream Anne sidas on the beach too! Parking is an issue though and by the end of the day the massive amount of sunbathers leave t...

👍 Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family. Fresh ocean smell, warm breeze and a relaxed easy atmosphere make this a great place to walk, skate, cycle, jog or just sit and pass time on a bench or the grass.
