One of my favourite beaches in CT! Not too small, not too big, not too windy, not too crowded, its safe, just amazing! The silent disco event was a great experience which is a family friendly event that accommodates everyone. All three DJs were great(you can switch between the different DJs) and the fire performance was interesting to watch

Beautiful beach. I would prepare and bring water and anything you might want along with you. This can be very pricey on the beach. R25 for a normal bottle of water

Picturesque views. The water was ice cold but had a great swim. You can get umbrella and loungers and enjoy the view of the Atlantic ocean. The sand is beautiful and clean.

It's cool and all, but the lifeguards are real douches. Twice I was whistled out the water, where the water was lower than waste deep. The one lifeguard had the gall to tell me it was because he was worried the current would sweep me away. Meanwhile, I have been swimming for practically his entire life and 20 or so years more. But I guess they save that generosity for people they 'think' can't swim.

One of Cape Towns iconic beaches. White sand and turquoise, ice cold water. Usually shielded from the south easter.

Amazing beach. It's quieter than Clifton 4th. I attended the Silent Beach Party it was awesome. Have a look for it and take some friends.

Clifton's beaches are secluded and sheltered from the wind. The water feels warmer than at the West Coast. We saw life guards patrolling the beach over the weekend and felt very safe while visiting. Fourth to first beaches are connected and can easily be accessed via the shoreline. Fourth beach is best swimming beach for children, as it has less waves breaking on the beach as well as a life guard station. Although the signage states that dogs are not allowed we saw some well socialised dogs on-leash. There is ample free parking near the beaches. Come early to get the best spots. If you can't find an open space then consider parking at the Clifton tennis club for a small fee. You will need to walk a little further to get to the beach from there. We felt safe while walking in a group. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I can recommend this beach for families.

It's nice, the sea water is cold. A bit of litter still lies around the place.

Beautiful view, isolated and great for relaxation. Visitors need to keep it clean though, as it's amongst residents of Clifton

Awesome beach in Cape Town! Very popular so can get busy and difficult to find parking. Worth it though!

Still the best option of the the 4, for the discerning beach goer. Although keeping an eye on your belongings is still very critical, hobbling back to car sans stolen flops sux.

very clean & safe with guards all over. Law enforcement and traffic cops in the area visible all the time.

Perfect Perfect water. You can go in quite far in and actually swim as opposed to just a dip. Well if you can take on that Atlantic bite...come on, you can do it. Leave some energy in your reserve for the steep stairs back to your car

World class Beach with the most beautiful view in Cape Town. I highly recommend visiting and watching a sunset. There is also a silent disco every two weeks and it is definitely something to experience. Imagine watching the most beautiful sunset whilst dancing with friends and listening to your favorite music. A dream!

πŸ‘ Food was excellent - beef ribs that seriously melted off the bone. Slow cooked , succulent and so delicious. One of our group had the gnocchi, that too was also delicious. The setting is in the restaurant, verandah space or on the pavement. There was a special buffet for Β£395- it looked fantastic wi...
