The presentation of the food is professional and the flavours brighten up your day. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is always ready to please their customers. Works of art brighten up the establishment which takes your mind off the mundane.

I attended a special Harvest event, which ended with an utterly sublime lunch at Bistro Sixteen82! We dined upstairs in the private dining area with beautiful views over the lush garden and mountains. Highly regarded Chef Kerry Kilpin is an absolute culinary master and her team is one of the best, creating a sensory feast for the eyes and palate. Paired with stunning Steenberg wines, the dining experience is simply divine and unforgettable. Be sure to make a booking as this much loved Cape Town eatery is always buzzing with happy diners!

This was a perfect afternoon lunch with the family in a semi private room upstairs overlooking the mountains and watching the rain. Food was delicious, and as usual I always judge on the availability of Veg options on the menu as well as Kid friend options … our waiter was attentive and the wine selection brilliant. The vetkoek as a heritage day treat was lovely, as well as the face painting. absolutely amazing experience and will come back again when in the Cape.

What an excellent culinary experience. Our food was delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the impala, lamb neck and the pork belly. The wines are on the expensive side, but the setting and atmosphere makes up for this!

I absolutely loved the aesthetics of the space. The food was great and so were the drinks. I went there today 25th April 2022 and the place keeps on getting better. Definitely going there again. Everyone is amazing and the food and drinks are amazing. They explain in detail so you can enjoy nicely.

The setting is perfect.. vineyard’s, mountain and lovely outdoor patio! Just a few minutes from City or ideally positioned if you’re off to the Cape Peninsula. Food was delicious and well presented. Service was attentive friendly! And of course the wine and bubbles begs for another taste!😀

It's always good exploring this place. It's honestly one of those places I revisit in cape town. I love the new tapas feel menu. Especially the fact that they cater for vegetarians, if you're vegetarian ask for the separate menu. Instead of trying to go through the normal menu looking for vegetarian options.

Chef Kerry Kilpin absolutely always throws together the most phenomenal dishes with the best flavour combinations ever. I recommend everyone try this place. It's vegan friendly. The vibes are immaculate, the wine is divine.

Best meal we had in our 10 night trip to South Africa - which is a high accolade as over the whole trip we ate some of the best food we’ve ever had. However 1682 clinched this for us as every element was perfect, all three courses were exceptional. The wine was amazing (Black Swan 2020) and whilst marked up from the wine bar next door was still very reasonable. And the service was impeccable. I genuinely cannot recommend this place highly enough and would urge anyone staying in Cape Town to jump in an Uber and go.

What a treat! Lia and Hugo took spectacular care of us. The Bistro was buzzing but this did not affect the service at all. The food was out of this world, loved every serving of tapas, hats off to the chef!

My family and I booked last minute so were given our own private room upstairs above the restaurant with stunning views of the pools and mountains. Good service, food well-presented and tasty. A great idea for a party of 12 or more.

The tasting room has a great atmosphere which Is a separate entity to the Bistro. I recommend you make both bookings when visiting. The food is generous and very delicious. The drinks are affordable and always flowing. Didn't understand why the close at 5pm.

We had a superb lunch at Bistro Sixteen82. The food was excellent and the paired wines were perfectly suited. We went with a 4 month old baby and were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Impeccable service from Hugo. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful experience in fine dining and on a luxurious wine estate. Had a lunch reservation , exquisite food all round , excellent service and value for money for the experience. The drinks were decently priced and lots of variety. The meals left one speechless. A 10/10 experience.

What an amazing experience at Bistro Sixteen82 and the Steenberg wine testing. Zelda gave us an amazing experience as we sampled their lovely wines for an even more lovely price, would recommend the wine tasting any day not to mention how good the steenberg wines are (would recommend five lives). On Bistro Sixteen82 itself, the tempura prawn starter was a wonderful take on a classic dish. The sauce that accompanied the prawns was just amazing as it complemented well with the garnish on the plate. The open steak sandwich was a really nice and interesting take on a kind of steak burger. The bread was toasted excellently and the steak cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for, but I would have to recommend the amazing lamb neck. Although small in portion the flavors are amazing and the complements are just as good, it's a really amazing take on a simple piece of meat, and the dessert was the cherry to close up the meal. 10/10 would go again

Perfect lunch spot after a wine tasting, outside seating, black board with add food options. Never disappoints. Steenberg wines by glass.

Set on the magnificent Steenberg Golf Estate, this eatery is welcoming and comfortable. Good service with really friendly waitrons add to the pleasure. Food is good though a tad pricey. Some different options make for interesting eating.

10/10 on everything, the consistency in the ambience, service from all waiters including management, the surrounding and the food itself makes this place a gem! Definitely worth the drive from Cape Town.

Stunning location, incredible food. We came for lunch and then did a tasting afterwards. Definitely the best meal we had in Cape Town. Loved the whole experience.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and not only do they have amazing views especially if you sit outside on a summer day but they also thrive on giving really good service which is a plus. It's definitely a place worth visiting when a person is in Cape Town 😁

Loved the Tapas meal by the restaurant, unfortunately I forgot the lady's name that served us yesterday 👌🏾 she was the best, she is colored, black short cut hair looks like she's in her 40s hard working excellent communicator looked so well after us

Fabulous spur-of-the-moment lunch when we abandoned other plans. The restaurant was busy so we enjoyed a glass of bubbly in the tasting area while we waited for them to let us know when a table opened up. We were too early for tapas so we tucked into the lunch menu. Risotto, pork belly and a fantastic beetroot and goat feta salad. Combined with Pimm's and whiskies, it was a fab lunch. We even had space for dessert. It was a wonderful treat lunch. We'll absolutely be back for the tapas menu another day.

The food was amazing, I enjoyed each tapas I tried. The Cheese Fritter was surprisingly my favourite. I’m too tired to write about the service, hopefully other guests will receive better service :).
