I went here to get food for my hungry toddlers. We were having car problems as I explained to the server, so we could not dine in. All the other stores including grocery stores were closed due to the siesta. The server asked the lady in the photo (head server) if we could have fries and 2 burgers for takeout and she flat out refused and gave us a dirty look. I tried to speak to her and she ignored me. She was quite rude and had poor customer service skills. Perhaps it was because I was not French, or white. However, I did speak to her in French. She only allowed us to get 1 pizza, despite my pleas. I had to wait for half an hour to get the pizza and kept on asking her for updates while she ignored me and gave me attitude. Meanwhile, my youngest baby was crying from hunger. I do not recommend this place at all. Typical stereotypical french attitude.

went here with my family the night before the tour de france arrived and although quite busy we were able to get a table and be served right right away. the food and drinks were both great as well as the service

They play really nice music in this place. This is the only plus. Otherwise, the service is slow. I had to ask the waiter at the bar to approach us for an order. Which they eventually made wrong. I got a plain omelette, instead of a vegetable one, but it was so thin, that I didn't even bother to get it remade, and just cancelled it. Same goes for quiche. Looks like it comes from a supermarket. The bakery a few steps away makes quiches 3 times thicker for half the price.

Not sure how you can screw up a pizza margherita, but mine tasted like dish soap/ cleaning agent and I actually couldn't finish it (and I'm someone who usually always finishes her plate). Wish I had checked the google ratings before coming here.

Very good steak and chips. It came with a peppercorn sauce. The burger was also very tasty. Both reasonably priced. Very quick and friendly service.

One pizza was burnt and they didn't have any pizza left to do another one. The tomatoes for the salad were green and hard and uneatable. Not receptive for the critics and not nice. Don't deserve the 3 stars they have.

My experience at the Le Bastid restaurant was beyond disappointing. I walked in with the intention of placing a to-go order, only to be told I had to be seated. I complied and took a seat. However, after waiting for a mere 10 minutes, an employee – a woman wearing a black top and red pants – informed me that the kitchen was already closed. What's baffling is that I was seated right next to two gentlemen who managed to place their orders just ten minutes after she told me. This restaurant not only offers the poorest quality of customer service but also reflects badly on the reputation of the French people. I strongly advise against visiting this place. Instead, head next door to L'ENDROIT for exceptional food and outstanding customer service.

It was OK. Chicken burger and chips. Chips were hot and fresh. Burger was nice. Served nicely. Nice venue.

Very busy place, but manages to keep the quality of food high. Excellent pizzas, and the profiteroles were good too.

The food was good, it took a little while to get served but the food came out very quickly. All the staff were helpful and polite. It was a great place to enjoy the plaza and the atmosphere.

Great food and service, shame no food before 7pm. Great local vine selections. Genius pizza. Great atmosphere and dog friendly.

Hours are typically french and bear little resemblance to actual opening times. Was here between 1600h & 1810h on a Friday in August and was closed

I got the classic burger and the meat was not cooked very well. Also asked for ketchup and did not receive it at all. Expensive for poor quality.

The setting is wonderful. There was live music playing in the park when we went. But the food is overpriced and of poor value. I got a simple vegetarian salad which costed 14€.

Fish is not fresh! avoid 🤮 unbelievable that a chef let it leave the kitchen. Leave it off the menu!

Rude service from waitress. She also got into a huff because we only ordered drinks. Minimum card payment €10. Generally avoid.

This place was open when everywhere else was closed. A Sunday at 3 pm, and they had the best pizza you can find. It was super delicious. And their vin rouge was also great. It took a lot of walking... But it was well worth it. Highly recommeded.
