Cardiff's best views of the Bristol Channel and Penarth. The design of the bay area is fantastic in its entirety, from the barrage walk to the Welsh government assembly buildings, pubs, restaurants and the millennium theatre. The urban designers have blended a good mixture of materials, colours and textures surrounding the Plaza.

Lovely place for a walk on a sunny day. We had a go on the wheel, stopped for a bit to eat, walked along the bay and had a play in techniquest. So much to see and do here and plenty of restaurants to choose from too.

I had a lovely experience At Cardiff Bay. There’s nice restaurants around, a cute ice cream parlour, other sweet treats and things to do. We decided to have a little fun and go on the bumper cars which was a laugh

My favourite part of Cardiff, we get the bus boat there from Bute park which is a nice but expensive way to get there. Lots to do and a fun fair during summer times. Lots of water sports to do as well. Gets busy though. Loads of restaurants and a really nice ice cream parlour.

Popular leisure development. Shame there's little real connection to Cardiff Centre, but a train/tram is promised. Many cafes, bars, restaurants - but little variety. There are statues, monuments, heritage trails, cycle routes and interpretation boards.

Always plenty to do in cardiff bay, from walking to cycling, and much more. Good choice of cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants. And you have also got the red dragon centre as well. Highly recommended.

It is a lovely place to visit when you are in Cardiff, there are lots and lots of things to do when you are there. You can have a long walk or a bike ride along the bay and see the bay barrage, of you are lucky enough there are big ships coming along very near to the barrage. If you are hungry, there are various restaurants to choose from and they have the most pleasant seating of all times and all that you can ever imagine. There are boat rides and other rides as well to keep adults and children both entertained.
