We went there with our nervous dog and they found us a table in a corner which was perfect. Friendly staff and my fish and chips was delicious and huge serving for £9 including a pint of beer. Highly recommend.

Rush decision for food but over all a decent one. Arrived late, not long before food service finished (sorry about that) but over all a good experience food was quick and service was decent. Nothing fancy just good standard pub grub. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Menu variety ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Nice pub with a great beer garden. Good place to come and watch the sport. Decent food options available as well. There's also a wide selection of beers and cocktails available

It was my first time in Cardiff and we stopped by this pub. Got the mix and Match tapas and they were delicious!

Excellent atmosphere and great selection of drinks. Cheap cocktails during happy hour. Asked specifically to watch the tennis semi finals and the staff put it on the big screen for me. Great service.

It's been given a facelift inside, also has a decent beer selection

Food was average, and the place had an old stale smell about it. There were no craft non alcoholic beer options - only Peroni and Heineken. However the staff were very friendly and the alcohol options were decent.

A nice pub, a minute walk from the Millennium centre and all the attractions in the bay. Previously an "old man pub" it's now been done up and is quite nice inside (Old men still welcome). Food is nice, and there's a good selection of beers and ales. The barman was also quite knowledgeable about ales while I was there; even recommended a few local breweries.

This is a great pub to meet if you are starting your evening out in Cardiff bay. It is clean, airy and has plenty of seating inside and out. Staff are warm , friendly and courteous. Can't comment on food as we were only there for drinks. Will be back again.

I live above this pub and go there often. Decent prices for food (bit on the high side for beer). They show football, although make sure you get there early/book in advance to make sure you get a table. Great beer garden. Food is fine - standard pub grub. Service is good. Bathrooms often run out of toilet paper when it's busy. Overall, a decent pub for a beer, nibbles and sport. They used to have Franciscan Well Chieftain IPA on tap (my favourite beer) but unfortunately they got rid of it. I'd love it if they brought it back! Thanks for the good times!

Lovely place, food was amazing! Really fresh and super tasty. I had the chicken burger and it was unreal! My partner had the pulled beef burger and he said it was the best burger he has ever had. Also its dog friendly and my little Frenchie loves all the attention he gets when going there. A really nice place. Highly recommend.

Nice pub with lovely staff, often drink here, especially out in the garden when there's room. Gets very full on match days as plenty of screens around but still enjoy it and the food is better than average with some good deals on offer mid week too.

Excellent location, excellent customer service. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Ordered tapas and steak, which was delivered quick and was absolutely fantastic. Great selection of food which I can't wait to come back and sample more of the menu. Would recommend to all family and friends.

A very nice rump steak served here. I ate in a quiet peaceful atmosphere at lunch time. Will definitely be back.

Went to this venue with some friends. This is a popular venue in Cardiff bay. Popular meet up point for people after work etc. There is a nice spacious outside seating area. It was busy but found some seating. Got served quickly so always a bonus. This venue shows sport events on TV around the interior so I find it loud with that. I have been here a few times but its not really my kind of place personally but you ofter will see a face you know.

Excellent service and great variety of food and drink available and reasonable prices. Visited after the Rugby and enjoyed footage on one of many TVs. Where my wife and were sitting the volume was too high and we were unsure if it could be adjusted. We have been using the Eli Jenkins for over ten years and the staff have always been extremely helpful and polite when we’ve ordered drinks and or food. The pub can get crowded but we’ve never had any haste.

St Patrick's RC primary had a school trip with 60 children. Eli Jenkins welcomed the children into their cosy pub garden so the children could eat their lunch! So kind of them. Jenna looked after us all making sure children had somewhere to sit and happy. Would highly recommend visiting here. Nice to see a local business being so community minded and welcoming! Will be returning.

We only had drinks so I couldn't rate the food, only to say it smelled delicious. The service was fast and friendly at the bar and it was a busy day too, with the food and drink festival just outside. The beer garden is really nice, with plenty of seating, good background music and lots of TVs showing the sport. A very pleasant place to have a few afternoon drinks.

Awesome bar, cool and friendly staff, good selection of beers (I really enjoyed the Tiny Rebel Cali Pale) and a good sized outdoor seating area. We visited on a stag do weekend in a group of 8 lads. The staff were welcoming and we had a great time here. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cardiff. They also had some good offers on shots :)

Beautiful pub, clean and well presented with fantastic staff who were warm and friendly. Good selection of drinks available and the food was quick and well presented. Glad we stopped here over some other places in the area. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a lovely few pints of Cali here whilst eating a burger. In summary: Beer brilliant. Food ok, a tad rushed. Service, Sharp, a little unfocused but all good. Would I go again, definitely. 💪

We booked a table to eat at 4:30 and we're shown directly to it. Ordering is 100% online which wasn't really an issue other than ordering a sharing starter which was served at the same time as our main meals, and there being no desserts whatsoever available. Hence 4 stars not 5. The food and service was on point, the atmosphere enjoyable. Overall a great place.

I come for drinks here whenever my husband has an evening off (he normally works evenings) and we love it. The staff are friendly, the bouncer now knows us, and it's like we're going to see friends. Grant and Henry always come and chat if they have time and we allways have a laugh. I love the beer garden, it's lit up with lights, the atmosphere is great, as is the service and the prices.

Standards have slipped since I was here last. Decent selection on menu, prices reasonable. Service good. Food quality not great. Katsu chicken burger had hardly any katsu sauce on it - could barely taste it. Chips and onion rings were lukewarm.

Had a lovely meal here on Friday. The staff were brilliant especially saucy G. Thanks to everyone for making our afternoon very pleasant indeed. Sorry couldn't get on the guest survey site with the address on your RateUs card or I would have given you 10

Great pub with a really nice beer garden, QR ordering makes it nice and easy, lovely food, great beer, great atmosphere and really nice staff. Definitely where we're heading next time we visit Cardiff, highly recommend. Edit: visited again a year later and it seems to have declined, outside at least wasn't anywhere near as nice as last time, so we didn't stay.

Nice pub with a well seated back garden. Large screens inside for events. And a wide choice of beers with pipes that appeared to be cleaned regularly. Might go back and try the food. Only down point was there was no fans to circulate the air on a very hot day.

Went there (twice but don't judge me) last Saturday and couldn't have been a friendlier or more attentive service. A great institution which has been around for years - traditional style pub but the food menue has kept up with the times (small plates were delicious). Good for watching sport. Visit asap

I loved everything about this place. The food was amazing and incredibly good value. Very friendly, helpful staff who added to the relaxed ambiance. A very enjoyable night was had by all. Eli Jenkins 👌🏽

A good selection of Beers but the staff in this place are unbelievable. Youngsters who appear to be stood behind the bar to chat to one another, rather than make an effort to serve people or even acknowledge they are there.

Was a comfortable setting indoor and out. The staff were friendly. Never tried the food although it did look good, if it was closer to hime I could see myself going there regularly. If I find myself in the area again, I would be sure to visit. Highly recommend.

visited the pub the last Sunday and Monday, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Place spotlessly clean. Fabulous food and drink. I had the Mega Mixed Grill on the Sunday, it was so good I had to GO back and have have it on the Monday as well! My wife had the Philly steak sandwich on the Sunday and the butter milk grilled chicken on the Monday both of which were fabulous.
