OK so much better than many of the pub restaurants in the area. Excellent customer service. Clean, busy and surprisingly good service despite how busy it was. Highly recommend if you like lively places with great vibe. Varied menu and cater for vege/vegans.

Good tasty, food, good quick service, clean comfortable atmosphere. Lovely views from the restaurant, outdoor eating and children’s play area available. Will definitely be coming back here. Thoroughly enjoy the food and the evening.

Staff all very good and nice atmosphere in the place which was well run and clean and tidy. The food wasn't great though. My husband had a classic burger which was very overcooked and didn't taste at all nice. Three of us had veggie burgers which were very sloppy although quite tasty but spoilt by having relish added. Mostly good but definitely the food could be better. Maybe plainer choices with less extras added already. Not all of us like relishes and sauces.

My friend and I had a disgusting meal at the Pendragon yesterday. We chose a meal with chips, when the meals were served to us I was shocked to think they could present customers with such an awful meal. I told them I couldn't accept the meal, she did replace the burnt chips but the replacement was almost as bad, and the cheese was like rubber. In the recent past I frequented the place weekly for around 13 years, the meals at that time were lovely. What a huge disappointment, we won't be going there again

Friendly local pub with decent food and drink. Bit of a wait for food but not too bad. Would come back again 🙂

Awful experience. Lovely grounds and great if you have children lots of green space and a play park. I would come again for drinks just for the use of the park and grounds. Food: wouldn't reccomend. We were there for a christening. The buffet is 1/2 a sandwich per person. 1/4 of a pork pie and crisps. For £7.50 per head. When we got to the buffet there was nothing left to eat. We then decided to order food from the bar as had starving children. Food wasn't great. Was quite expensive for the sizes and quality. If cheaper then would say it was ok.

We arrived as a group of 7 mixed ages, we’re greeted warmly and efficiently by Amy , the menu looked appetising and when the food arrived ( promptly) it was exceptionally good and great size portions, nothing was too much trouble and we’ll definitely be making a date for lunch again very soon!

Lovely polite staff, pretty surroundings, nice beer. The food took a while to come but when it did the dinner was lush and the server's couldn't apologise enough. 10/10

Had £9.50 Curry+drink on a Wednesday and don’t have any complaints. George, Adele and Amy were all very polite and helpful as well as quick bar service. 10/10 experience.

Fab experience. Lovely food. My 22 month old grandson loved the children's area. Staff very polite and couldn't be more helpful. Will visit again soon as only live 15 mins walk away so very local.

Arrived at the pendragon on the 3rd June at 1:30pm for a meal with family. The staff were all fine and helpful but unfortunately the food I received was very poor. I ordered the 8oz rump steak rare and my mother in law had gammon. We waited just under a hour for food to be served and when it did arrive the steak came out half well done to half burnt and the chips on both plates were some of the worst Iv ever been served (looked like they had been left in a deep fat fryer for 2 days) very disappointing and unfortunately I would not recommend this pub to anyone for the risk of getting the same experience.

I have enjoyed many meals ar The Pendragon on the years, but this my be my last! My Wife's hunters chicken was dry as a bone and my surf & turf was initially missing the surf. Chips also the worst we have had in a long time. Something needs to change!!

Nice, modern style pub with good customer service and decent beer. Our lunch was good value, with nice chips. And ale was £2.50 a pint on Monday, which was a lovely surprise.

Great food at a reasonable price. The standards have improved greatly over the last few months. The new pizzas are amazing! Proper Italian dough style! And their hunters chicken is fresh and delicious, not the usual microwave nonsense. Always great service. New lights in the beer garden and music is lovely. Our son loves the play area. Inside could do with more lighting in the dark areas especially as we go into the autumn and winter please.

A lovely suburban pub with a lively atmosphere. Good selection of beers. There was a male voice choir singing carols there the night we went which was really lovely.

Can’t fault The Pendragon since it’s been taken over. Really great tasting & large roast dinner enjoyed today.

Came in as a table of 8 and ordered food as they started service time. Waited nearly an hour, some dishes had obviously been under the heat lamp for a while including the burgers (who's buns were completely toasted by this point and the chicken dry and rubbery). Kids Mac n cheese has chilli powder in it?!? Asked about it and told that's how it comes in. Fair enough, but no mention on the menu.

Met up with relatives here, a first time visit, and although we didn't eat here, what was being served looked fantastic. The beers were excellent and l would recommend coming here for whatever reason,

Had my dad's wake here on the 9th of February. I'd like to thank Daniel and all the staff for an amazing buffet. The sun was shinning so we're able to take advantage of the excellent terrace area. Every thing was perfect. Thank you all so much.

My Mum lives opposite this pub so visit fairly regularly. Always a warm welcome here, especially from Amy who’s so lovely and helpful. Fast service and good prices.

Drinks with family. Nice pub. Usual mass manufactured frozen food. Bizarre that the first bottle of house wine cost £14-95. The second, was 9-95. When I asked how this is possible, the answer was... Oh yea, we have more than one house red 😄 I explained what a house wine is, and that anything else would be chosen from a wine list. This was lost.... But she was lovely.

I came up for food on Thursday during steak night and it was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and the peppercorn sauce was divine. I was served by Adele and she was lovely. Drinks were nice too and the pub has a lovely decor and atmosphere. Would 100% visit again and recommend.

Have visited the Pendragon a few times while visiting family but this time, sadly, it was for a wake. However, the girls working that day were amazing!! Professional and attentive without being over bearing. The buffet was beautifully fresh and very well presented. A BIG thank you to everyone!! You done my uncle proud x

Gorgeous chips. My friend enjoyed the chicken. Not much vegetarian options. Hence the 4 stars. Friendly service, lovely beer garden with plenty of seating. Suitable for all ages.

Staff were friendly, bubbly and very accommodating. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere, we didn’t feel rushed to order. The food was fantastic! It tasted superb and there was plenty on the plates. My partner and I finished everything with no leftovers

Haven't been to a Brain's pub in along time and really enjoyed it. The mains were what you'd expect from a chain, but the desserts were next level!

Lovely food, great service. We all enjoyed our food. Tasted amazing, everyone in our group of 9 enjoyed@ The only minor letdown was the barking war between other customers' dogs

We held my mum's wake at the Pendragon on 8th November. I want to say a huge thank you to the team for making sure it went well. I over catered slightly but the buffet was really generous, fresh and well presented. There was a lot of food over and the team boxed it up for us so that attendees could take it home. Many thanks all.
