I organised two separate rooms for a hen party this weekend and we all had such a good time! Both groups said the rooms were a real challenge and really enjoyed the experience. Max especially was super helpful!

my boyfriend and i love coming here, it's so much fun. we have done two escape themes so far (The heist and Alcatraz). We had Holly and Charlie as our hosts so far, they were both very helpful and so sweet, without their help we probably wouldn't have escaped each theme in time but luckily we have done. massive thanks to our hosts, we can't wait to come back and do the other themes!

Did Heist here with my partner and her younger sister and just about escaped with only a minute to spare. The puzzles were challenging and varied to fit everyone's ability and experience with escape rooms so we were all able to heavily contribute to the daring Heist and final escape. Chris was an excellent host, reading the group to keep his communication suitable for all ages without sacrificing some great dry humour and helpful tips where they are needed. Will definitely be returning soon to complete some of their other rooms 😁

Brilliant experience! Workers were absolutely amazing. Our game master Chris always makes our experience funny and enjoyable. The puzzles I'm the rooms are brilliant and he always keeps my drinks nice and cold for me :) very thankful.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Never been to an escape room before. The team were extremely friendly and really clear. Would recommend anyone for this as its such great fun. Definitely will be going again in the future. We even had an issue with a keypad where we had the code correct but wouldn't work and Jason rectified the issue quickly. Brilliant fun for everyone!

Awesome rooms with inventive puzzles. We've done three of the rooms now and they've all been super fun. Also shout out to Chris, who was super friendly and whose narration really added to the atmosphere! Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience!! I did an escape room before somewhere else in Cardiff and wasn't too impressed, but this was on another level! All the staff are very friendly and really set the scene for the escape rooms. Nothing is too much for them, they even removed a big spider for a very arachnophobia person in our group 🤣 The rooms are a lot of fun, very varied as well with multiple rooms in each one! We booked the Jungala room, and on the day a family with young children had booked a scarier room, we were asked to swap which we happily did and they gave us a free game as a thank you, which was a lovely touch! Can't wait to try the rest of the rooms👍🏼

Had a great time at our first ever escape room, Jungala. Staff are fab, Holly was our host and she was lovely. Also special mention to Charlie who changed the room I booked initially with no hassle, when I realised serial killer one probably wasn't appropriate for the mother in law 😅

Two of us did "Escape from Alcatraz" and would have made our way out if we had just had three more minutes (or if I had listened properly to the instructions!) Holly was very welcoming and popped in to see how we were doing when it was clear we were struggling. Would definitely return and do some other rooms next time we are in Cardiff.

Came yesterday and completed enigmista, it is a great room with very clever and fun puzzles. Chris is a cool guy who did a great job setting the scene, making it even more scary. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back

We had a proper escape room experience thanks to the marvellous Tyrion - what a fantastic host! She was so funny, personable, and knowledgeable. We couldn't believe she was a new addition to the team. We did the Fibonacci room and it was a blast, just the right level of difficulty and really immersive. Can't recommend Escape Reality Cardiff enough, get down there!

Having played all the rooms in another escape room, my boyfriend and I decided to give Escape Reality a go. On booking I was already impressed with the amount of rooms they had to choose from, eventually deciding to play Enigmista. We were greeted by Charlie when we arrived and made to feel really welcome - staff at this escape room all clearly enjoy their job and that shows in the warm and friendly atmosphere here. The escape room itself was so much fun, and the hour passed so quickly. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to escape, but we had a lot of fun trying to get out. As escape rooms go, this is definitely one of the best we have visited. Not only for the choice and standard of rooms but also down to the staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fab date night!

Rooms were great we had a great time, was tricky to find so leave plenty time! Only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because the staff were so rude! No hello or common courtesy…we had three rooms and we thought it was only our staff member, but they all also came out saying the same! Just put a smile on your face we spent a lot of money to come to your rooms! We accidentally went to the wrong escape rooms beforehand as there is ‘escape rooms’, just before, and they were really nice! Perhaps worth switching to escape rooms rather than escape reality if you want good customer service! I won’t return again because of it!

Had an amazing time at Escape Reality Cardiff, we did Fibonacci our first time and loved it so much that Holly (our game master) managed to convince us to come back and do a second room the same day! Would definitely recommend and thanks to Holly for making it such a fun experience.

our gm Ria was lovely, and we loved our first room so much that we went back and booked a second room almost immediately for the same day. me and my partner have been to many escape rooms and these are definitely up there, the rooms really make you think and make you work as a team. 10/10 will be returning.

Did the Fibonacci room as recommended by Jordan and had a great time. Ria greeted us and was very polite and kind and then Chris took us through the room. He did an excellent job at setting the scenario and taking us through all safety procedures and rules for the room. Would highly recommend and keen to come back and do another room!

Did enigmista and we really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was 10/10 and really solid puzzles. Thank you to our game master Jordan for being brilliant and also Ria, Holly, Chris, and Charlie!

We were first times users of Escape Rooms, and wow what an experience! We had an amazing time, with a wonderful room of fun and puzzles. Our host for the day was Iwan, who knowing we were new to this, explained everything we needed to know and answered any of the questions that we had! I would highly recommend Escape to Reality if u want a good time! We cannot wait to return and complete the other rooms they have to offer!

Such a great evening out and every room we have done has been awesome. We had Ria for Fibonacci who did a great job setting everything up and prepping us for a fantastic experience. Top quality. Top fun. Can’t recommend enough

Jordan and the other staff members were very kind, helpful and funny. The escape room itself was also great, not too easy and definitely challenging, but we didn't get seriously stuck anywhere. Highly recommend this escape room! :)

We had so much fun here! The rooms are amazing! Some of the best I’ve done in the world! We did The Heist and The Fibonacci Sequence and they were both a lot of fun. Holly was our game guide and she was so lovely and hilarious!

Had a great experience last week. The puzzles are challenging but fun. Really warm and friendly welcome from our host Jordan. Recommend visiting either as a couple or with friends.

Had a wonderful time at Escape Reality. Had a lovely warm welcome from Holly and Chris who really added to the experience. Kara was a fantastic host and was very helpful when my partner and I were sat in the corner crying. Didn’t manage get out, definitely not mt fault. Will be back to do some more soon and definitely recommend anyone to go and enjoy this experience themselves.

Such a brill day out and we all left talking about how much we wanted to come back! Staff were so friendly, and Fayth, who took us through everything, was so friendly and fun! She really made the whole experience super enjoyable! Highly recommend for a group activity, and I can’t wait to go back!

First time in an escape room and had the best time!! Jordan was a brilliant host, recognising exactly when we needed a little nudge, making the health and safety briefing actually sound fun and taking the time to chat with us before and after. Will definitely be back soon to try more rooms.

Fantastic time. Didn’t escape Alcatraz but it was great fun trying! Staff were fantastic. Ria really helped us out, she was attentive and gave us enough clues so we didn’t look like idiots but didn’t overdo. She was very chipper and we had a great giggle with her and the other lady at the desk. Overall highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! Hopefully we’ll escape the next room!

We did the Alcatraz room and it was a great experience! Staff were friendly and the room itself was really good and challenging. We are already planning to come back on our next visit to Cardiff.

4/5. 1 star deducted because the game was too easy for us and we escaped as a duo with more than half the time to spare. HOWEVER, putting the game itself aside the customer service was absolutely spot on. Could not fault the friendly assistant Holly who greeted us and constantly had us giggling through the experience. The rooms were clean and staff were attentive keeping cleanliness as a top priority throughout. We have been here 3 times with the desire to constantly come back and check out the more challenging games. Misery was the room we chose for this trip and felt it could slightly be improved as other games has more rooms and clues and this was far too easy for those who do visit frequently. Other than this we aim to come back and conquer Alcatraz was has been on our list for some time! In comparison to other Escape rooms in Cardiff we felt this was one of the best especially with the 50% student offer!!

Ria and Chris were the absolute best hosts. It was my teams first time going to an escape room here and they were so clear and engaging during the safety procedures and during the whole hour. We ended up coming back a further 3-4 times because they made us feel so welcome and are an absolute credit to the establishment, I hope to see them again during my next visit! Thanks Ria and Chris :D

My first time experiencing an escape room and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. 4 of us went as a family. We attempted the Stephen King "Misery" themed room but unfortunately we didn't manage to escape, if only we had an extra ten minutes. Our host Chris was very informative and had a great attitude towards the game. We have booked again and will be trying Jungala next time. If you haven't tried them before I would say give it a go.

So worth the money, a fantastic experience we highly recommend. Got 2 tickets as a birthday gift, we had the room to ourselves, was surprisingly detailed and a hard room to crack. Loads of fun and Jordan was amazing at entertaining us before and after and helping us out a little when we were stuck 😀

Had an excellent time here today with my friend, we both really enjoyed the room that we did and will definitely be back to do some more in the future! Game Master Holly was incredible with us and made the experience all the better!

My partner and I have been once before and decided to try a different room! We were greeted by Jordan who was such a cheery character and was making us giggle through the whole experience. We were also introduced to holly who was also very kind and friendly! The room itself was very good, we got stuck on one puzzle but Jordan assisted us in no time! Also yes volcano was a very nice restaurant!

Had an amazing time here at escape reality! “Misery” was a really good escape room as it was challenging and exciting. Jordan was an amazing host. Only thing about escape reality was that it was a little hard to find as the entrance was quite small/not well seen, apart from this the whole experience start to finish was amazing. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff
