Quite standard pub meal. The portions of the food were very generous and our table could not finish the entire meal. The taste was standard and generally left us satisfied. They also have a ton of seating space and can accomodate for large groups of people.

Don’t purchase via the online app (when dining in) We ordered entrées, the mains, and desserts, however only the mains came out. It would be nice to be notified though (yes that was a big disappointment) luckily we didn’t get charged, otherwise it would be a headache with disputing the charges. We did make a complaint about it, and they did apologise, which we do appreciate. Everyone was super friendly! The burger and chips were delicious! Super juicy beef and crispy chips. I would go back, but this time I would order the food at the counter.

Love this place. Tasty food. Generous servings. Only problem is that it is always crowded. (Took photo of room outside of hours). The best places to park are either up next to Woronora Cemetery or in the West Sutherland parking station.

Came here for a steak, never again. I was kinda hoping Mike's grill would have learned a little from the previous chef at club on east, but no. I ordered a medium rare steak with chips and a side of gravy. I received a well done steak, with chips and a salad. The gravy was so jellified that it sat, stuck on top of my steak wobbling like a team of sumo wrestlers. I scraped it off and it came off almost complete, unbroken. I was quite happy about that but when I saw the lump of coal they called a rump steak underneath I understood why they did it. I also remembered why I never went back to them when they were down the road. This chef cannot cook a steak, despite having a reasonably large range of steaks on the menu, including more on the specials. Each being more expensive than the last. I would never consider it again, and club on east have lost my dining custom. I grew up in a poor area where we always asked for a lump of coal for Christmas, seems I got my Christmas wish here. I was considering not taking the rest home for my dog but the Mrs decided otherwise, and in her defence, she knows our dog, he will eat anything. Lucky really because after going back once to remove the salad, I didn't feel like going back again. Service outside of the restaurant was great, the club is great but their choice of restaurants leaves a lot to be desired. I guess Mike's just realised they could make more money faster at the club and jumped at the chance, and I guess the club staff have never ordered a steak from Mike's before they came to the club. Hope this review is helpful and starts turning the wheels of improvement.

What a great night out with my friends I had at Mike's! Atmosphere was exceptional and food was even better! Had the mikes salad with prawns delicious. Service was excellent, See you again soon!

I loved the bruschetta. Perfect amount of dressing and a burst of flavour. The waitress Olivia was super helpful serving me with a big smile on her face.

Snitty, lamb cutlets and Steak good, but the 3 burgers fell to bits, even Maccas burgers would be better quality

Mike's Grill has reinvigorated Club on East at Sutherland. Don't expect to just walk in for a great feed. Book ahead. Was part of a group there on a Friday night and the place was very well patronised. Mike's Grill has a very good name across the local suburbs providing great food at a reasonable price point. Given the number of people in the club, the turnaround of orders was acceptable. A great supporter of the local community too. Be careful parking across the road in the railway carpark as it is a fee paying park unless you have used your opal card from the station and return.

I have eaten at Mike’s grill for a number of years at various locations and have known Mike a while. Mike is a fantastic chef, has been one of the best places for pub/bistro food in south Sydney. However, today at Sutherland RSL wasn’t the best culinary experience. This is the first time at Sutherland RSL. I’ll start with the positives - service was great, lady and man at the reception to the restaurant were exceptional. Negatives - food was very poor overall. I had the pasta seafood linguine. Red sauce -genuinely tasteless, prawns - again tasteless. Pasta slightly over cooked, not al dente. Wouldn’t say this is the biggest problem, most eateries will cook pasta that way but dish was overall poor due to the lack of flavour in the sauce. Beer battered prawns - average. Not sure whether they were but felt like they were straight out of the freezer. Garlic prawns - average/poor. Sauce was tasteless.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining here last night. Everything was exceptional. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the Bruschetta was the best we have ever tasted! Will 1 million% be back again asap!!!

Amazing food ! The specials always change and are super unique and delicious so be sure to check them out and change it up every couple of weeks ! Never fails to satisfy, the bruschetta is amazing 10/10 the pepper sauce is to die for and the vegetable hokkien noodles are delicious! Fast service! Love this place 10/10

Was my go to place.. Asked for medium on the steak,and it was RAW,container it came in FULL a blood. Didn’t return for 4months,when I did I grabbed a schnitzel and wasn’t white meat.Didn’t go back till today. I thought I’d give it one last go- started ringing at 8:13 pm,on hold for 7 mins,hung up and called back. No answer,now at 8:34 closed. Over it.. Used to look forward to eating there,food USED to be consistent-good sized servings along with quality of food,not anymore…

I’ve been there several times for lunch and dinner. It’s busiest place and food there is really good with proper quantity, also they have lot of options in food menu. I would recommend that place.

Very disappointing! Haven't been here for a while. Big helpings but food is very, very ordinary. Bruschetta had so much balsamic vinegar it made you cough! Salad which accompanied the fish & chips was just lettuce with salad dressing on it and the Fisherman's Basket was fried to a crisp. Used to be good - won't be back! Staff are friendly is the best I can say!

Chicken wings great, large portion for a starter. Salt and pepper prawns delish with light coating with generous portion of fresh salad and crispy chips. Service fast and very friendly efficient staff. Reasonably priced!

Good atmosphere. Happy birthday chants on other tables. Dinner with my family and all happy with their meals. I had the Surf n Turf medium rare which was cooked to perfection. All staff very good, will be back again.

Great food and nice atmosphere. Huge servings so definitely good value for money. Have been here a few times and never left disappointed.

Three for lunch. Was fairly quiet but the place still had a nice feel. Food was very good and very generous serves. Rump steaks were cooked very very well; lamb cutlets juicy and a good size. Also had buffalo wings which were very well cooked with a great layer of Frank's Hot Sauce and blue cheese dressing. Yummo! Delicious food, friendly service and great serves means will be back again when next in the area.
