Very good recommendation from a local to The Shire. Dining solo, did only the Tonkotsu Ramen and a karaage chicken side. Broth was hearty and full of flavour. Egg was soft and the pork neck was tender. The karaage was crunchy and served with Kewpie. Quick service, easy parking and friendly staff!

It was a cold winter's night, and we were craving some piping hot ramen. We read about this place as it was nearby, and it had some amazing reviews. We tried to call the place up to reserve a table, but their phone was offline. We took the chance and drove here. As expected, the place was buzzing and crowded, with only a few tables vacant. They were the ones no one wanted, as it was freezing cold outside. The lady said the only table she could give us was free for an hour only. We agreed and sat down with the menus. Before we got too comfortable, a man approached us and asked if we wanted to move to another free table, so we didn't have to rush. I think he took pity on us because feeding a 2-year-old in an hour is pretty impossible! So thank you for doing that for us! With most places with high star ratings, I try to lower my expectations so I don't get disappointed. I'm happy to report that this restaurant deserves the high ratings. Their ramen is on point! I ordered the spicy ground pork ramen. The broth was so flavourful with so much depth and I loved the spice level. The noodles were perfect and had a glorious mouthfeel. All of us enjoyed our bowls of ramen and would happily come here again! The service was great too, fast to take our order and food came out fast too! If you're in the area, definitely give this place a go because you won't regret it.

A little bit of wait for food. There was a keto friendly option for ramen using shirataki noodles. The spicy ramen did actually pack a little bit of a punch! Karaage and tempura cheddar were both okay.

We ordered pork gyoza, Tonkatsu Ramen, some sushi and chicken Karage. Everything was really good, although it took a while to get our food. It was also super packed so it is understandable. Staff is also super friendly.

Seriously yummy food and really lovely, welcoming staff. Still working through the menu but top faves atm are the tonkotsu ramen, wagyu salad and crispy brussel sprout salad. It was busy but the wait wasn't long at all. So gooood, thank you!

Food was absolutely delicious. The spicy miso ramen is a great size, and has a nice kick! The chicken karaage and pork gyozas were great too.

It has a great selection of ramens and donburis. Generous portions and quick service. One of our favourites. Update Their current special : spicy udon (dry) with a soft boiled egg is fabulous. Did I mention their pineapple shake is to die for???

Passing through the area. And found this nice restaurant with such a friendly staff and environment. The foods come in excellent presentation, and right proportion for the value. Texture, fragrance, taste and flavour undeniably balance. Clean restaurant and even the toilet. Have to drive for 50 mins to get here next time around but definite visit a must.

I must say this place is amazing! I had my birthday there recently and they really went above and beyond to cater to such a big noisy group of 30 !!! All the food is so amazing every time and everyone enjoyed it so much ! The lotus root chips are so good ! And they have the best vego ramen 😍🥰 definitely 10/10 👍👍✨

Good menu, not trying to impress, but to serve an excellent Japanese meal. Beers on tap and true to the flavours :)

Had dinner here and I tried the pork Tsukemen ramen. The broth was flavoursome and a bit saltier which is perfect for this style of ramen. There was generous amount of toppings however, the egg was a bit overcooked. It was quite busy on a Wednesday night and we waited about 20mins before getting a table for 3 inside. Overall a good tsukemen 👌

A very nice and cosy place. So glad we finally decided to visit. The food is delicious and portions are generous, also vegetarian options available 🌱 The staff are friendly and service is fast. Atmosphere is lovely. Recommend a visit 😊

Late lunch, this place is sort after, ordered ramyun with dumplings,gyoza and har how,the food was good, better to make a reservation before going in, rather than counting flowers luck 🤞 wonderful atmosphere,every staff followed COVID safe . Would definitely recommend and go back again

Great! Cheaper than fast food! Yeah! You don’t even know what you are eating! Good that you bring your friends or colleagues to have a “Japanese” meal. But not your significant another, family or puppy.

Sorry it’s taken so long to write a review. Been coming here for over 10 years. Was the first date venue with my now wife. Always amazing food and lovely staff. No surprises it packs out every week. Perfect amount of variety on the menu. Kirin on tap as well 🔥

Fast service & the food is always well presented and consistent in taste.....its not a complex menu, the location is a little unusal, and the interior is clean and functional.... all probably adds to the appeal - highly recommended if you like Japanese

Fantastic! So so busy so you know it’s one of the best options in town. Staff were attentive, food came out quickly, lots of options on the menu. Couldn’t recommend more! Great option for a family dinner or a catch up with friends.

First time visit for Father's day. Parking was easy and there's a wheelchair accessible toilet inside the restaurant. Staff was nice enough and food arrived quite quickly even though they are a bit busy. The ramen itself is okay but the brussel sprout lentil salad is actually legit. No bitterness and very crispy! Tempura is so-so. I would recommend if you do try this place, must order the brussel sprouts.

probably the best ramen i’ve ever had in the shire!! not only is their ramen good, but their sides and dumplings are too!! would recommend their tonkotsu ramen, udon, lotus chips, gyoza and xiao long bao! food is always delicious and fresh, the atmosphere and decor is lovely and service is always great, even with how busy it gets in there :) plus they have cute cat plates LOL (=^‥^=)

My boyfriend and I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and pork gyoza for dinner. The quality of the broth and noodles are incredible, this japanese restaurant is the best one in Sydney!!

Best ramen in south Sydney! Good serving size. Good variety of food n good donburi. Especially happy about how they include a good amount of salad in the bowl. Plenty of seats not too crowded. A/C can be slightly weak in summer. Draft Japanese beer available.
