I found this beautiful restaurant randomly walking around Cartagena's historic sector. What an amazing find! Our server, Antonio, was also a chef so he could explain all the dishes. He started us with a special appetizer called carimanola, a yuca fritter with lamb and cheese. It was spectacular. I ordered the filet which was mouth watering. My partner enjoyed the gnocchi, which she said was phenomenal. We ended the meal with a house cheesecake, probably the best I've ever had. This was the best restaurant we experienced in the city. The ambiance was warm and I would definitely say this is a must if you visit Cartagena.

What an amazing dinner. This is authentic Italian food in Cartagena. Everything we had was spot on delicious. You can taste the fresh ingredients with each bite. The ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming, if I lived here I would make this one of my regular spots. The wine selection was diverse and our server Antonio gave some Excellent suggestions. Speaking of servers, Antonio is the second best server in this establishment, he gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner and his wine choices were tailored to our tastes. We were only going to order one bottle but after we tried another selection by Antonio we got even more wine. I must say the star of the show was our other server Jari, she really filled in the gaps and made our experience amazing as well. If you are in Cartagena I highly recommend you come here, make sure Antonio and Jari are your servers.

We were a party of 8 that were turned away from tourist trap across the street because one in our party was wearing shorts. Wow! What a favor they did for us!! The hostess at Norma was not only happy, but excited for us to dine there. They proceeded to walk us around the entire restaurant to allow us to pick our table.We ended up sitting at round table in front, probably great advertising for them. On the way, I met the owner/chef who showed me around the kitchen which was very impressive! I had the braised short rib which was tremendous. Everyone at our table had an incredible gustatory experience. 3 bottles of wine were consumed with the delicious appetizers presented. Bill came and we decided to guess, furthest from the number pays. I guessed 5M Colombian pesos ( approx $1,100 usd). To make a long story a bit shorter, bill was $385 usd including tip! Please visit when in Cartagena for a delicious and affordable experience!

My wife and I got the chicken cacciatore and spaghetti. The food was incredibly delicious! I especially liked the olives served with the cacciatore. I specifically want to mention our server Antonio. He took great care to make us feel comfortable and provided incredible service. We found out Norma has only been open for 20 days! Make sure to get a bite here before it blows up as the next big thing.

Amazing atmosphere, excellent staff, and tasty food. Antonio our server was mentioned to us by another couple we met. Antonio was amazing.

Oh my God! I see why this place has such a high rating. I am glad my American Express concierge recommended this to me. The atmosphere is out of this world. My server, Victoria, gave me amazing service with excellent recommendations for the best appetizers and entrees. If you are rising to the Cernto area, make a reservation beforehand for dinner! Dima Bartender will give you the best bar experience.

Lovely, romantic and luxury Italian restaurant in the old Cartagena. I ate Calamare pasta and my couple enjoyed Norma pasta. Both of the main dishes were absolutely delicious. The waitress service were awesome. The dessert was really good, a chocolate brownie. Definitely is a must to visit if you go to Cartagena and you want to taste italian cuisine

Place is new and it’s a gem! Met the owner and she takes pride in what she built. It’s no wonder — place has great food, ambiance, service, music… frankly it does everything right. Highly recommend.

We wanted a nice dinner for our last evening in Cartagena and Norma was rated high. It was a good choice. We started with cocktails & beef carpaccio. We each ended up selecting the lamb gnocchi as our main meal with a accompanying glass of red wine. For dessert we did the five chocolate brownie with a lemon cello chaser. The food was wonderful. We were not crazy about the service. We had made reservations and they wanted to seat us at a two top next to the kitchen. The main issue for me was when it came to pay the check the waitress pointed out that I needed to add a tip. Except the tip “propina” was in fact already included.

Thank you Norma! This restaurant is ah-mazing! Antonia, you were phenomenal! Thank you so much. Everything was honestly delicious. I throughly enjoyed the Risotto and all the cocktails I had. But the desert! White chocolate cheese cake 🍰. 😋 sooooo good. Thank you for making my time in Cartagena memorable. I’ll be back!

FAN-TAS-TIC! Wow! What a way to close our trip to Cartagena! We were not planning to come to this place, but decided to switch gears and visit this restaurant and it turned to be the best meal I’ve ever had in 2 trips to Cartagena. I would say it’s a more expensive than the medium but it is totally worth it! Great place, great food, great service! I’ll be back next time!
