Mixed
Stay
Experience
at
Decameron
Hotel
I
recently
had
the
opportunity
to
stay
at
the
Decameron
Hotel
and
wanted
to
share
my
thoughts
on
the
experience.
While
there
were
certainly
positive
aspects,
there
were
a
few
areas
that
left
much
to
be
desired.
Firstly,
the
rooms
were
not
up
to
the
standard
I
had
expected.
The
building
itself
appeared
to
be
in
need
of
significant
upgrades,
and
this
was
particularly
noticeable
in
the
rooms.
The
AC
system
also
seemed
to
require
better
maintenance,
as
it
didn't
quite
deliver
the
comfort
we
were
hoping
for.
However,
I
must
commend
the
night
shift
General
Manager,
Alexander,
who
was
incredibly
attentive
and
accommodating.
He
was
quick
to
address
our
concerns
and
even
provided
our
family
with
a
better
room.
While
the
AC
in
the
new
room
was
an
improvement,
it
still
needed
some
fine-tuning.
Despite
the
issues
with
the
facilities,
the
level
of
service
provided
by
the
staff
was
commendable.
The
staff
remained
professional
and
attentive
throughout
our
stay,
which
helped
alleviate
some
of
the
discomfort
caused
by
the
room
and
AC
situation.
One
area
that
I
believe
could
use
improvement
is
the
food
service.
While
the
quality
of
food
was
decent,
there
was
a
lack
of
options,
especially
for
kids.
It
would
be
beneficial
to
introduce
extra
food
services,
particularly
during
the
afternoon
and
evening
times,
to
cater
to
families
and
individuals
with
varying
dining
preferences.
The
location
of
the
hotel
was
convenient,
with
the
beach
being
a
walking
distance
away.
However,
it
was
slightly
inconvenient
that
the
front
beach
was
closed
down
during
our
stay.
In
conclusion,
I
believe
that
with
a
significant
upgrade
to
the
AC
systems
and
a
remodel
of
the
building,
the
Decameron
Hotel
could
provide
a
much
better
overall
experience.
Despite
the
challenges,
the
reasonable
price
point
does
make
it
a
recommended
option
for
travelers
seeking
an
affordable
stay.
