Came for the Wifi, wifi does not work. Tried 3 different phones in our group. Staff knows nothing. Don't advertise wifi if it's not going to work.

As always true to brand. Sharp, dark and oily with a full bodied aftertaste was their americano. Moist and light was their chocolate cake. This location boasts a large seating area plus outside seating. A special tanks to the whole crew for as we say in America "keeping it tight".

Before coming to Cartagena for the first time (first time in Colombia) I vetted with a few locals on the best coffee to get in Colombia and hands down they all told me to come to Juan Valdez. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and it was amazing, I met a local in the store and brought her coffee too. The coffee is nothing compared to anything else, nothing close to Starbucks. I’d definitely come back here again on my next Colombia trip.

Awful paper plate and plastic fork. Cake tasked a little artificial. They charged my card in EUR which is 7.5% extra.

Good place to work. They have high tables where one can work standing upright.

Great coffee! Slow service and super slow wifi, if you plan on coming here to get some work done, don't even bother! Speed was around 200-300 kbps when I tested it in the AM.

Nice coffee place to sit out of the sun, however I wouldn't recommend the frappe / cold coffee it's basically watery coffee and didn't taste of much except large chunks of ice.
