VERY GOOD LOCATION Stayed at the property for an overnight, on transit for Casablanca Airport. The hotel is located practically in the train station. Lobby is big with lots of possibilities for chatting. It has a bar and a restaurant with a small private terrace in the back. Check-in experience was good. Rooms are small. Kinda noisy, especially those on the 5th floor because of the rooftop chillers (I presume). TV has lots of channels, international and local, including english-speaking movie channels. Breakfast is good and variated for an Ibis. Overall confortable stay and at good prices.

Staying for two nights with a male friend from ten UK, before taking the TGV to Tangier. Plus : Clean bedroom ; centralized location ; decent bar Cons : The most sour, condescending, off-putting and passive-agressive female receptionist on the face of the universes. She has afternoon / evening shift. The hero in this establishment is the bar tender. Since it’s understaffed, he is trying his best to do everything…..

I have traveled through Europe as a private jet flight attended and also as a private chef. Moroccans every very hospitable and amazing people. Until our last day in Casablanca. We took the train from Tangier and we decided to stay close to the train station as we were leaving for the United States the next day and it was easier to get on the train to head to the airport. We came across a very rude front desk person with curly hair and a hot temper and attitude. Finally I mentioned to her that she was being rude. She then said she wasn’t and said I gave you a room with a great view. We got to our room and the window was open and there was flies everywhere. Also it was not a great view at all. We shut the windows and left our luggage and came back around 10.00 pm . As we opened the door we could smell the nastiest smell in the room. It was unbearable and we went downstairs to let them know. We knew she purposely gave us a room that clearly some one had gotten Sick in. The same Girl who had been rude to us earlier. She started yelling at us for not going to her earlier and told us they were sold out of rooms. She sent the maintenance person who’s name was Mohammad and a very nice person indeed. He came to the room with us and agreed that the room smell was horrific. So we went down and she gave us another room, again with lots of yelling and attitude. I had to come down stairs to take a call and I heard her loudly telling the guards something in Arabic and they were Al looking towards my direction, and the other hotel manager or person and looking at me and she was yelling in Arabic . The next morning when we were checking out and I asked to speak to a manager and the front desk person was polite , but made up some excuse that the manager was not available and that he would report to him when he came. No one contacted us when we got back . I’ve never ever experienced such rudeness in my life. I am in the hospitality business and have travel Europe on private jets with celebrities and sports teams. Our visit was on May 8th.. it was one of the worst places and service. After we mentioned something to the front desk Guy he still charged us for a 7$ breakfast. It’s not about the money at all. Please don’t take this the wrong way. It’s about how she made us feel and her behavior needs to be accounted for . I’m sure we are not the first people she has done this to. I tried finding the corporate office number for Ibis Hotels and I was unsuccessful. Clearly this woman should not be dealing with your Guests from other countries or people from her own country for that matter. I will never ever stay at an Ibis again. I would give this place a 0 star. Our experience at the breakfast area was not the best either, but because I am in the service industry I gave them an additional tip, but we had to ask them for tea and they were just standing there taking the whole time not attending to the guests needs. It’s clearly a very poor run place and management.

GOOD: amazing location, basically inside the train station. the room was fairly clean, water and lights worked, shower pressure was awesome Bad: room smelled, is very very small, AC didn’t work which REALLY sucked, staff were hard to find, phone in the room wouldn’t call the front desk, the staff said the restaurant was closed so I went out for dinner, when I got back people were clearly eating at the restaurant (??) Was very expensive for what it was, for $50/night in Morocco I expect ice cold AC and a reasonably sized room.

The hotel is very well located, right outside the Casa Voyageurs Station, the city tram station and a park. Many eateries and markets are walking distance from the hotel too. Check-in process was a breeze. Reception was polite and explained all the necessary information in good English. The room is clean, cleaner than other Ibis in Casablanca. Even though the hotel is near transportation terminals and a park, it's very quiet from the room and I could have a good night sleep.

The place was located in a good location near the train station but unfortunately the room was infested with cockroaches and got into our luggage. I do not recommend staying here.

A great hotel and in a convenient location. Clean comfortable room. You get the odd whistle from passing trains. AC does not work right. The breakfast buffet was poor to bad. At 9am on Sunday much of the hot food was empty and the staff did nothing to replenish. Only much later did they fill partly After pointing out several times. No plates or coffee mugs for a long while. Getting an omelette cooked was a difficult process by a staff member who was rude and mouthy. Why does he work here? Juice jars sat empty till someone had to ask. Bread has no toaster. Our complaints were ignored and no manager was available to speak to. Interesting, no speak English excuse! Avoid getting the buffet option. Still a good place to stay to visit Casablanca. The receptionist Iman was friendly but the other had a very rude attitude. Male staff generally all had attitude problems. This is about a good two star hotel. Not more.

After traveling around Morocco for three weeks this hotel was exactly what we needed - a normal Ibis hotel, where we knew what to expect and there were no surprises. We arrived by bus from Merzouga and the taxi drive was 5 min from the bus station to the hotel. We wanted to use the train to the airport on the next morning and the hotel is just outside the train station. So for us, the location was just perfect. There are so many places to eat around and there are even McDonalds and Starbucks inside the train station. Our room and bathroom were nice and clean. I have to say that the door isolation is just amazing. We could sleep till late and we were not hearing anything from the corridor or from the street. The staff were very polite and helpful. Overall a great place to stay if you just arrived in Casablanca or if you have to travel to the airport.

Arrived by train to Casablanca - Hotel directly outside the station (so avoided all those irritating taxi drivers whose purpose in life seems to be to rip off tourists). Very straightforward check in with a pleasant receptionist who spoke perfect English. Most Ibis hotels operate to a certain standard (though some better than others) and I found thus hotel to be of very high standard

Excellent service, clean, comfortable room, fantastic breakfast buffet, and surprisingly quiet despite being literally right next to the Casa Voyageur train station. And a great value at $55/ night. We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Tangier and were pleasantly surprised. We didn't expect the level of quality and service for $55 per night. We've been paying a lot more for a lot less quality. We had a problem with the shower leaking all over the floor and carpet. I just got in the shower and turned the water on enjoying my first, full-pressure, perfect temperature shower in a week and failed to notice that there was no barrier to keep the water inside the shower. I called the front desk and they sent someone up who immediately moved us to a different room without making me feel like an idiot. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I will look for Ibis hotels from now on.

Good service, rooms not very big, but all we needed for our one night stay. Good breakfast included. Would stay again if travelling from Casa Voyageurs.

This is NOT a four star hotel. Three star at the most and with the worst breakfast imaginable…………….

  • 4/5 Stuart H. 6 months ago on Google
The hotel is conveniently located just outside the railway station and close to tram into centre. Friendly (English speaking) reception. from the higher numbered rooms on each floor the railway can be seen. Breakfast was tasty and varied but I was disappointed that it not available until 0700, unlike most Ibis hotels.

Friendly reception (Imane) and bar staff (Othmane and Fettah) Handy for train station and tram to town. One of the better red IBIS brand hotels with clean rooms, good beds and shower.

The room is great but the aircon was a joke. It makes all the right noises and the controls work but just like the rest of Morocco, the locals hate air conditioning so somehow the main system refuses to allow big blasts of air con in our individual rooms. We had 2 connecting rooms and both had mild or I would say minimum air release and hardly cold at all. As a traveller,it was painful but I know it is the same throughout Morocco. The towels were not fluffy white, no floor mat strangely. No basic bottles of water provided. Beds are super comfy! Rooms are clean. Location is perfect. I hope they work on the aircon and the small things like floor mat and bottled water. Just a few little things and it would be perfect!

Good hotel with courteous staff. Location was really good as it is directly opposite Casa Voyageurs train station and taxis are easily available to travel to Casablanca attractions. We enjoyed our stay at Ibis casa.

We chose this hotel for its location next to the train station and as it is a brand name. We stayed twice, on our arrival in Morocco and on our way out. Both rooms had an unpleasant, musty smell in the shower. Also, the ventillation system in one room hardly blew any air, even with the fan on maximum. The system in the other room did not work at all. Breakfast was mediocre. Our second stay we went out and had a wonderful breakfast at half the cost. I give 2 stars as the staff was helpful and the rooms (other than smell and ventilation) were acceptable.

Strategic location, front desk staff are awesome, breakfast is ok but could be better...room shower gel and body wash are cheap and small in size ( impossible to wash whole body with ) also rooms sometimes missing towels

Very nice contemporary touch, hotel Ibis is usually dull but this one checkes all boxes. New room design, spacious, clean and finally a big TV. The breakfast is the same one Ibis is renowned for. Staff was amazing and kind. Definitely going back!

This Ibis hotel stands up to the standards of an inner city hotel. The staff is helpful and speak English. The hotel is conveniently located aside the train station. They serve a nice breakfast. My first night in Morocco, the staff was kind enough to call in a sandwich for me as I hadn't gotten my bearings of the land yet after traveling so far to Morocco. I was very thankful that they did this for me. I recommend the Ibis hotel

Nice location opposite the train station. So it is easy to arrive and leave to the Airport without needing a taxi or if you want to travel outside Casablanca. The mall is on 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and there is a lot of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The city center (Medina) is also 5 minutes from the hotel with the taxi. The food in the hotel is also good and affordable. You can smoke inside the bar of the hotel and also in every restaurant, bar, cafe etc. so keep that in mind if you are non smoker. Service is great and the staff was very helpful and always in for a chat. There is room cleaning every morning so the rooms are always fresh and clean.

We have some understandings in the checking due to my dog size even I booked in ibis web site and prepaid 150dh extra for pet ( understandable) but no warning about company animal sizes. The dog was finally accepted, it was a disappointing moment. The Room was clean, parking free very well located and breakfast from my pov it’s not worthy.

Customer Service is poor "Iman or Imhan female receptionist is rude at this hotel and did not make eye contact when she spoke with us. We paid for this hotel in advance, yet when we showed up, we were told that our booking was cancelled for no reason. We were given a room but had to pay a 2nd time at a higher rate which was not fair but the hotel did not care. We are still awaiting a credit for the 1st payment. The breakfast was ok but was not ready until 7.00am even though we were told that it would be ready at 6.30am. Coffee, tea, pastries, breads, cheese, yogurt, juice and water. It is conveniently located near to the train station - this is great."

The room had a smoky smell on arrival, I don't know if it's the policy of the hotel or indeed Morocco to allow smoking in all rooms or if smoking is prohibited in certain rooms, but I wasn't asked. I had to have the window open all the time to try and get some of the smell out, which thankfully worked. The receptionist was really friendly and nice. The room itself was really clean and really well maintained, the bed was comfortable, the cleaner herself really friendly. No kettle or anything like that in the room, also only tiny sachets of shampoo are provided which is different to other ibis hotels I've stayed at. No noise from other rooms, though you'll certainly notice the crazy taxi drivers outside leaning on their car horns all day, the clang of the tram bells and train horns. Personally, I liked it! The bar was excellent. Really good Casablanca beer, the first one free for silver plus Accor members too. The location is really good too, just over the square from Casa Voyageurs train and tram stations. Overall I recommend the hotel but I would appreciate rooms which are non smoking which can be requested or offered to guests.

If there's a half star review, I would have assigned to this horrible place. The attitude of the female receptionist was terrible. I had been queueing for 30 minutes at the check out counter, when my turn came up, the receptionist called someone who just arrived and checked him in before me. when I asked why, I was answered by the worst attitude one can get. the next day the sheets were stained, when I called to change them, she hang up the phone many times. later they sent an unhappy woman to change the sheets with an unpleasant attitude. Flies were everywhere in. the room which weird since my room was on a high floor. I was asked to pay for tax during the check in, so I did pay for 5 nights. 3 days later I applied to cancel for the rest of my stay through the app I used to book. But the hotel refused to return my the tax without any explanation. Stay away from this place. Hotels next to Casa port train station are way better for the same price.

I booked a room here just as a one night stay to catch my train the next day easily the location is good its litteralyy 5 min from the Station, its a clean room ,but almost 600 dh a night is a bit much ,the room is extremly small there is no space to put your luggage in , there is no cuttle no water bottels or small fridge , the ace doesnt work , and custmer service is mediocre at best . If you want a easy normal short stay 1/2 nights its good , but more then that i think you can find better with more affordable options
