I don’t understand why the other guests gave them bad comments but for me, I had a very good experience here. Firstly, the attitude of staffs is good, caring, respected the others. Secondly, the seafood here is fresher than other places I had tried. But i had to pay by cash, they didn’t accept credit card. That’s all. And lastly, nice view :))

We had an unexpectedly good experience here today during lunch. Yes, the prices are big, but so are the portions and you leave really satisfied. I had the moules à la provençale, my mom the paella and my boyfriend the pasta au saumon. All tasty, big and really nice service. Add 2 small beers (french style) and you have 75 euros (french style also 😌). Not perfect but almost! 😊 Oh and yes, in the 21st century you can't pay by CB! This I totally disliked.

The mussels were just fine. Paella was bad. Staff was rude and we couldn't pay with card so we had to run to the ATM to withdraw money for this overpriced place. Don't go here!

There were many issues with our experience. The service staff were rude and patronising. We also had to ask for simple items such as cutlery. Main meals were not brought out at the same time and food was mostly bland and tasteless. Service staff spilt drinks at the table next to us.

Really Awful Service Food was pretty bad, especially overpriced, and the service can not be overlooked. It is so bad as to be insulting. My son got sick from a pasta bolognese! Edit: a few years on, and this remains the worst restaurant experience in any country, anywhere.

Average food and service. Overpriced if you consider quality. And they only take cash! We accidentally ended up in this restaurant as we were hungry after a hike in the calanques but no other restaurants were yet open for dinner, so decided to give it a try. The service was actually not too bad, friendly although everyone was barely speaking English. That might’ve caused a mix up with the order. We ordered fried sardines as an appetizer (tapas) and for the main dish Gambas a la plancha (grilled king prawns) and linguini with gambas. It took quite a while to get the appetizer and it came as a main dish with fries, salad, etc. I explained we wanted a tapas size of sardines to share. The waiter left and came with two portions of the same main sardine dishes. Finally the hostess came and we were able to clarify the mix up. The staff handled it well though. They brought back the sardines as tapas and only charged us for tapas. The quality of food was a 3-4. The gambas were done quite ok but pasta was overcooked. The quantity of food was large. I would recommend going to another restaurant during normal hours but for earlier dinner, this place could still work of you are patient and have cash.

Horrible. I wish I read the reviews beforehand. Awful and rude service. Owner screaming at her staff multiple times. Coffee tasted like mud water and milk. Crepe is a waste of time. Payment in cash only. Abhorrent from start to finish. Real shame.

Dodgy service. When I got up to pay they said that they only take cash. They made me go get cash out at the bank which was a 10 minute walk. After I paid with cash and used their toilet I walked past the counter and someone was paying with their card.

Same experience as many other guests. Food was about as bad as I've had at any restaurant in the world - not an exaggeration. Just uninspired and bland. Also, they don't take cards, so we had to run to a bank to get cash. This took a while. Lastly, they have one toilet, which is really dirty, for all guests. The one bright spot was the excellent view of the fort across the harbor.

Pleasant meal and pleasant staff. The food was fine. It is three stars due to the bread being a bit “meh”, the escalopes being tough, the frites a bit bland (probably due to being under seasoned and needing slightly longer in the oil) and a narrow range of drinks. Our friends who had moules said they were “fine but not great.” The presentation of the “discovery” dishes - in a boat on ice - is fun and memorable.

I had a full bucket of muscles with fries for €15. I particularly liked the glass of rose. I found the owner and wait staff to be very friendly and accommodating. (I even got a friendly, free, French lesson from the hostess!) I'll go back.
