My review is based in 2 times in this place. Right In the old Havana. Price is $$$; unique; food is original and very good. If you are a veggie lover this place have some delightful meals for you. Good selection of wine; service do the best, top floor for more privacy, clean and fresh. This place worth another visit. Indian cuisine in Cuba? Hard to believe but..yeah, they nailed very good.

This was a nice fusion-y Indian-Cuban restaurant. The barbecue fruit was great - but VERY spicy (as indicated on the menu). The okra was also great. The vibe inside is fun. I was worried it would feel like a traditional Indian restaurant that I could have gone to anywhere, but it felt unique and I would come back here. Recommend!

Excellent Indian food with vegetarian options and HOT CUBAN JAZZ! We lucked into a lovely experience here on our first night in Havana. Food was delicious with plentiful servings. Service was so friendly. Plenty of good vegetarian options. Clean and attractive surroundings. And here's the best part: Live music nightly! Try to go when Los Leales is playing - a big local band with a unique Cuban jazz fusion sound. Great players and nice people! Don't forget to pick up their CD as a nice souvenir. Don't miss this place!

Glad to have visited this place. Kudos to the Chef 👨‍🍳 for managing the real taste of India with even this less amount of supplies. Good job Chef, keep it up. This place offers a large variety of VEGETARIAN and VEGAN options. Definitely recommending to the readers. See you soon again. (Definitely try the Samosa as starters)

A trip to Havana is not complete without a visit to the Buena Vista Curry Club. Great jazz. A much better atmosphere than Zorra y Cuervo and easy to get to in La Habana Vieja. The employees are very friendly. And, the drinks are strong! The young bass player and drummer are real musical monsters and the sax or pianist who sit in are talented. Oh, yeah- the Indian food is authentic (but a little pricey- worth it).

I enjoyed this place so much that I went back for dinner the next night during my Havana trip! Not only was the food delicious, but my server was cheerful and efficient (and gave me great service as a solo female diner, which does not always happen), and the music was top notch! I love Indian food, and have gone to Indian restaurants in many different countries, but BVCC holds a special place in my heart for being absolutely unique. I enjoyed my biryani as well as the vindaloo and naan I had on the second night. Drinks were refreshing and well-mixed. A bit more expensive than some of the surrounding options, but I felt it was still a great value with the high quality of the food, pleasant atmosphere, and insanely good music.

The only Indian restaurant in Havana and pleasantly surprised with really good food! Service was really great, Rene speaks English & will take care of you. We ordered Chicken vindaloo, it was good spicy and amazing flavour. Naan and rice was good too. Gulab jamun was a little dry for my taste but overall experience was great.

Nice comfortable atmosphere, food, music and drinks, I saw a jazz trio and Latin Cuban band in the same evening, small and intimate club fun spot

Excellent food, excellent service and a fantastic night of Jazz with a guest piano player from New York. We have been to numerous restaurants on our trip to Cuba but few match the quality of the offering of the Buena Vista Curry Club. The restaurant has recently reopened after a two year closure. A very unique experience. Highly recommended.

We had two days consecutive dinner in this hidden gem Indian restaurant. We be we expected if we would find an authentic taste Indian restaurant in Havana. It is like finding an oasis in the dessert. The food and hospitality was awesome. The mutton curry and chicken tikka masala tasted very good. Vegetarian options were Bhindi/okra masala and Eggplant bharta and lastly the yellow lentil daal . All preparations weee so delicious and freshly cooked. I’ll highly recommend to goto this restaurant in Cuba street Havana .

We visited this place as they had a Halal sign and we were very happy but we saw the Menu and it has pork and also Alcohol which doesn’t work that a Halal restaurant would have Halal food and these things. We ordered Chicken Curry, Mutton Curry, Samosas and bread. The chicken tasted not like chicken and we started feeling it is something else. The Mutton Curry is good Samosas are delicious Mango Lessi is also tasty Customer Service is great and welcoming by the Manager, waiter and even the chef The reasons I am giving it 3 star is because:- - Halal food, pork and Alcohol can’t be in one restaurant - My friend got very sick because of the food for the last 5 days - Chicken curry not confident that it was even a chicken

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Desi/South Asian food is impossible to find in Havana so when I heard about this place I had to go, and it didn't disappoint! Food, atmosphere and service were all great! Even the Chef came out to greet us which was great (actually Indian who told us they import all spices from India). Serving size was a tad small and the prices were steep but honestly worth it since you can't get anything like this anywhere else. Indian food is one of my favorites growing up so this restaurant definitely has a special place in my heart. Too pricey to eat often for a student like me but I'll definitely come back again for a special occasion.

Delicious food with a side of great service. Loved my time here, thanks to the service by Wibert! He offered the best menu items and talked us through it all. Would definitely come back.

It does not get more authentic than this, hands down best indian restaurant in all of Cuba. The service is great and the food is amazing, plus there is always a crew performing small and chill shows.

Best food I have ever had in Cuba. During this 36 hour trip from Miami, I was fortunate to come across two awesome private restaurants. When I return I will be definitively be returning. The chef is Indian so that says everything about how good the food will be. Enjoy this gem in Old Town.

This was SUCH an excellent night in Havana. The food was outstanding, and the music was exceptional. You can’t ask for a better experience.

Very delicious Indian food with great live music. Both the goat curry and the aubergine curry were amazing as was the fresh naan bread. Only sad it wasn’t busier. A little on the more expensive side but worth it and it must be extremely difficult to source these ingredients!
