Part 2 of review. Although Tapi responds to negative feedback asking people to contact customer services, you won’t obtain a satisfactory response. It’s all for show. We received a letter in E-mail stating that they’d considered our complaint and we were owed no compensation. The letter was full of inaccurate information and no apology. When we replied clarifying the situation, there is no response. We have no choice, but to go to the furniture ombudsman to resolve this. Tapi installers damaged our staircase and we have huge gaps in our hardwood flooring due to missold laminate, but apparently we’re owed no compensation. A word of warning, if you have issues with their installers, do not pay them. Tapi confirmed over the phone that they’d guarantee the installs so pay them even though damage was done to our property, but they don’t refund you anything. ….. Do not use this company! My husband and I bought laminate flooring and carpets from Tapi. They mis-sold the laminate flooring, their carpet fitters damaged our staircase and the carpets don’t look like the samples. We should never have been sold laminate as we do not and are not able to have skirting boards underneath our staircase due to fuse boxes/wires so we couldn’t have beading for the expansion gaps. We have therefore been left with huge gaps around the floor and a massive gap near our front door as their installers knocked out a metal boarder. The installers also played loud music throughout and did a sloppy job of the beading. Their carpet installers pulled so hard on our staircase that several steps are now cracked. We have also been sold carpets that do not match the samples. The grey carpet (Rome) is especially an issue given it is in high traffic areas and is extremely shady compared to the samples. When we purchased the carpet we specially mentioned to the Tapi representative that we don’t want a shady carpet and not once did he mention that this would or could be the case. We have been waiting over three weeks and no one at Tapi will help us rectify these issue or provide us with compensation. It’s disgusting!

Excellent service and friendly staff. Free home measure within 48 hours and my carpets were fitted within 2 weeks by lovely fitters. Thank you, I will be back for more after Christmas

Had a home visit yesterday by a representative from Tapi carpets . He was very helpful and clearly had all the information I needed . I choose to have interest free payment option which was dealt with by the store very quickly . Really looking forward to my carpet being fitted soon . Thank you

I had seen the negative reviews, but decided to give them a shot along with another more expensive option. I had excellent service from the measuring, to looking at samples, and completing the sale. The measurement process was, quick, easy, on time, and well communicated. The representative was knowledgable, helpful, and polite. The staff in-store were great, answered my questions, and made the whole process super easy. Thank you Sarah! As a bonus they offer 24 months of 0% APR financing. We ended up saving about £1k for 3 rooms. Would use again!
