Lovely food with low budget. If you want your favorite local Yoruba food then Amala central is definitely the right place to get that. Their food is super nice and also pocket friendly. It’s in central area and very easy to locate. Though you may experience little waiting time before you get your food but it would surely be worthwhile

Great location and fair prices. The map is accurate. Customer service is quite impressive. The queue moves really fast. Food is really nice but a little peppery.

I love this place! The food is great and the restaurant is so clean and has a big parking space. The restroom is squeaky clean and there’s water. There is also a delivery service point outside. You have to make payment with POS or Cash, they do not take transfer. It’s just 2mins drive away from BOI. It has the local and modern vibe We had porridge yam, rice and beans and several assorted proteins. Would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Abuja 👍 Hope to visit again soon 😀

The food is simply amazing, the price is unbeatable and the location in CBD is just fantastic. There is usually a queue of people waiting so it can be off-putting at times. The wait time on the queue can take up to 20 mins sometimes but it is definitely worth it. The Amala is to die for.

Latest amala joint in Central Business District of Abuja serving it hot and delicious The queue was long as at my visit but I was not disappointed at the taste of the food. The amala was so smooth and fluffy accompanied with the delicious gbegiri and ewedu with assorted meat Food not expensive, it is a pocket friendly spot for quick bite. NB: Don't go there when you are already hungry cos of the long queue except you call to order ahead

The place was really busy when I went but organized. Food was good and affordable. They also have some nice quotes and history on their walls. Takeout section was seperate so you won't have to go in the main restaurant to order. They need to pay more attention to their cooking or plating though cos my friend found a strand of hair in his food.

I loved everything about this place... Had been on my bucket list for so long.. decided to go check out the place and try the infamous Amala and Gbegiri soup for the first time... And I must confess it was wonderful The staffs were friendly even if I had to stay on the long queue because the place was packed and they were all busy, eventually I placed my order and paid.. then sat down and enjoyed my meal.... I'd recommend you guys getting more hands😉

I don't like eating Amala.. Even though I did growing up. But ABUJA AMALA CENTRAL AMALA😍😍😍😍 the Best. Brought back memories.. Damn SWEET. wish I knew the cooks make I spray them naira. The Coconut is A+ as well. The only thing missing there is MORE SPACE😃.. Even with the space is still packed most times.

After the hype by friends we felt the flavour wasn't as authentic as one is accustom too. Potions were generous but be ready to make a dash for the loo after.. Basically we all had upset stomach 😢

This place houses the simplest yet best restaurant I’ve been to in the Central Business District area of Abuja, Nigeria. Very clean, organized, well mannered staff, long queues obviously because of how tasty their meals are😅. Lest I forget, they’ve amplified local dishes which I believe is their trademark. Food here is also very affordable.

Great food, local and other dishes. Queue moves fast, good service. Great idea to have different tellers for cash and e-payment. Hot and stuffy in the afternoon, can be resolved with more fans strategically positioned. More TVs also. Nice place, well done!

Amala Central is a restaurant to get correct local food especially Àmàlà. There are variety of foods and soups to pick from. From Àmàlà to jollof rice to gbegiri to ẹ̀fọ́ riro. The environment is neat and clean. Their staff are very friendly and respectful. There are wash hand basin evenly distributed.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Amala central. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of juice. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a local home made food.
