Super nice and amazing tour and tasting. I loved everything about this visit and it’s an experience I strongly recommend even for not cognac lovers. The light show and the films were spectacular, the cocktail great, the boat ride was dazzling, the history behind the emporium and the facilities in general were amazing. We bought a couple types included the limited asian edition that was extremely good and worth every euro 👌🏼 This is visit I highly recommend!! Thank you!

I decided to arrange this tour as a surprise for my wife as this was the last night of our annual road trip, and more importantly she loves Brandy. It seems you can’t arrange a tour too far in advance (I tried 12 months previously but it wasn’t possible) however I booked it a few days before and we chose the last tour 5:15pm as we were travelling up from Carcassonne on our way home. Unfortunately the tour was in French (apparently there is one English tour a day) we missed it but it was still fabulous and interesting, and Charlotte our guide did do her best to explain things to us in English when she got chance, she was lovely, as was Sean who we met in the shop who was so knowledgeable (they both were). Really enjoyed the tasting at the end and I’m not a Brandy drinker, but will now be helping myself to my wife’s Brandy (Hennessy of course) we’ve bought a lovely set of 6 Brandy glasses for a reasonable €32 for our new kitchen. The trip takes two hours and is truly great, would definitely recommend.

First part of the tour (multimedia) is generic and boring. A lot of standing around and listening without any really interesting facts. Second part (aging warehouse and tasting) was fantastic. I would have preferred to see some more real manufacturing and less of the generic multimedia stuff.

Very nice and remarkable Guided tour. The guide is very interactive and her knowledge is superb. She is able to EXPLAIN (In English) to you in detail how everything is being made, TEACHES you how to appreciate and taste the product in style... kids are able to try the grape juice too(which is a plus point for parents like us). The only minus point is the parking... you may park along the road but it's a 1.5hour block only...

Very detailed tour with a tasting experience of XO, VSOP, and cocktail at the end. I appreciate the drink more after knowing the history and process of the Hennessy production. I was recommended to this tour by Miriam from Hotel Heritage. I am so glad I did it! If you go during off season or early in the day, with a couple of friends you can get a private experience, but remember your umbrella because it rains often.

We enjoyed a really interesting and informative tour of this Cognac house. Some of the Paradis demi John's date from 1800, I know it's unbelievable isn't it. We also enjoyed the VR session. I have never experienced anything like it previously and it was really good fun. I'm not quite sure what happened though as the tours are very organised and then they didn't have enough headsets so couples were getting split up and having to go into different rooms. :-( We went on the cheapskate tour at 29 euro each so just got a sample of the cheap stuff. It was still enjoyable. The prices in the shop were a little on the high side, which dissuaded me. I figure I could probably get a better price in an English supermarket. I can certainly get XO a lot cheaper at Costco.

Took the distillery tour. It was super nice. Very enjoyable experience 🥰 it included a 20min VR experience and a lovely tasting of Hennessy’s XO range. Recommend.

A great tour (we took the tour in French). Really interesting and informative while remaining entertaining. We really enjoyed the addition of the boat across the river. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke clearly and there was plenty of time for questions. We took a baby with us and the staff were all really helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this tour for those visiting Cognac.

Very nice experience, but if you speak french and not only english, please choose french because their english is terrible. They pronounce it like french and unfortunately, you won’t understand anything… Also, I strongly recommend the VR experience!

Great tour and great cognac. Although the really good stuff is not included in the tasting. From the tour you find out the art behind the grapes that turn to liquid gold! Very friendly staff. The VR experience is fun I guess but wasn't my cup of tea.

Out of all the cognac cellar visits, this is the BEST one!! If you can only visit one, this is the one to choose. For EUR29, you get a boat ride, short video, guided explanations, visit to the working cellar, an immersive Virtual Reality experience with 3D goggles and a dégustation of 3 types of drinks. Wow! What an experience ! Not to be missed.

If you go to Cognac, spend some time to look around. I got great bottle and adorable glasses for cognac. There is ice-cream inside, so kids got occupied while we were exploring.

What an awesome experience! We tried the immersive tour, the boat ride, the VR experience and the tasting at the end was all more than worth the money being charged.

We opted for the Hennessy Initiation Immersive Experience which lasted 2 hours and included the boat trip, tour of the cellar, tasting and their new VR experience, which was incredible. Our tour guide was great and all of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We drove to Cognac especially for this tour and it did not disappoint.

We chose the cheapest tour as we knew nothing about cognac and it was a good intro into the making of it. The tasting was quite rushed at the end which was a shame.

We went for the cognac initiation tour and tasting, a steal at €20 each. Our host was warm and knowledgeable, we took the boat over the river to visit the cellars and learn about the production process in detail before heading back for a tasting experience including Hennessy VS and VSOP neat, and VSOP on the rocks and in a cocktail. Highly recommended for something to do in the town of Cognac.

We took the tour of the brandy storage area, which included a couple of audio visual presentations and a sampling of their vs and vsop brandies and a cocktail. It was all very professional and slick (sometimes too slick) and I liked the fact they offered drivers etc an alternative to the alcohol. It cost 25 euros per person, which was OK, but I thought the brandy a bit expensive, especially compared to the Martell shop and tour, which I preferred. (both taste of and content of tour)

Very nice and well done tour! The Movies and lighting were super cool to see. The tasting at the end was also fun to see the difference with and without ice and different kinds. Thé cocktail was also very good. There was a small electric boat ride to get over. The boutique was also cool. Nicely laid out. Overall super.

👍👍 Well preserved and calm, it is a true haven of peace in the heart of the city. In the middle of August we went there and it was really quiet so if you have a few minutes to spend there it's worth the detour 👍! Visit in August 2023 with family 😉.

👍👍 My visit to Camus was simply fantastic. It is one of my favorite memories and absolutely was a top highlight of my recent 2-week vacation in France. The tour was very informative and enjoyable. Our guide apologized for her English, but I thought she spoke very, very well. If only I could speak Frenc...
