Did a tour of this place and learned so much about how the cognac is made and maintained. They make excellent Cognac, a must have!

Very informative and interesting tour, covering both the historic and well preserved buildings and cognac maturation cellars. Whiskey not great. The cheaper tour includes one tasting of neat cognac and a cocktail taster.

Tour guide did an awesome job and took the time to answer our questions. We were the only people in the group and she didn't rush us!

We had a tour with a very lovely lady. Learnt so much about Cognac but also history. It was great that she was so enthused and genuinely interested in us too. I think everyone should do this Baron Otard tour.

Amazing chateau and good to hear about the interesting history. The tour we did in English could have been more informative, some of the most interesting little facts came out only after questions were asked. The degustation was limited, with tiny servings. We tried the VSOP, Princes (late VSOP) and XO. The VSOP was not very refined but the others were good. Would also have liked to be able to sample the Cognac d'Usse (Jay-Z's brand) which also comes from here, as this is only really available in the US market... This was not offered however.

Very nice place to visit. French or English is available at different scheduled. Book before you go and enjoy both the chateaux history and the cognac

Very informative tour with a knowledgeable guide. Only criticism is this: if you book the €18 standard tour (which is a good deal for the overall experience!), it says that you get to try the Baron Otard VSOP and the D'Usse VSOP. This is slightly misleading as the D'Usse comes in the form of a very weak cocktail where you can barely taste the cognac. It's like fruit juice. The Baron Otard VSOP is a normal tasting of the neat Cognac, so it would be good to compare the D'Usse in the same way. You can buy a taster for €5.50 extra, which is fine, but it would be good if they told you that beforehand. Feedback to Chateau de Cognac: either increase the price to €20 and include the D'Usse as a proper taster on its own, or at least tell the buyer that it will be a cocktail they're getting.

Good guided tour in English. Some parts of the cellars are very dark. No problem for me but be aware. Tasting after the tour was OK

Our tour and tastings were amazing. Very interesting ! The château is amazing. Our guide, Her name was Angeli (I hope I'm writing this right) was super! Our tour was so amazing because of her. Her English was perfect, she was very knowledgeable. Thank you Angeli !

Great tour with a very informative guide who explained the history of the chateau and how it came to produce cognac. €18 tour was a great price for 1 hour tour with 2 drinks included. Well worth it.

We took the English tour and it was just right. A blend of history, stories and education. The tasting at the end was simple and elegant. Absolutely no pressure to buy, encouraged to taste cognac with tonic and left with a smile.

Decided to visit here, as the oldest Cognac house in France, over the more well known ( Martell, Hennessey etc) and it was a really great place to visit with some seriously good Cognac.
