Very beautiful historic temple in Chaiya. At the front, there is also the museum. It's a bit old and not in the modern style, but it's worth to go check-in in. So many interesting historic objects and statutes. Ps. You have to take off your shoes before entering the main hall of temple area.

I noticed that there are few recent reviews for this hotel so I am posting this April 2022. The hotel is actually is not on the beach or is it?.....There are actually several buildings including a tower on the property and the lobby/reception is at the back of the long lot. There is limited parking but there is parking out on the rear street. The property opens directly onto the beach road so it is quite handy to the beach and there is a 7Eleven right beside the entrance. In general, this Hotel was quite nice and an obviously older luxurious property. Of course,  being older, it does show signs of wear. I quite liked the hotel however the WiFi system was not that fast and having to deal with the sign in procedure, was an absolute pain.  The breakfast (300 baht/person unless includedin the package) was acceptable, contrary to some reviews.  A couple of dishes were not great but overall it was varied and a buffet. I had a bathtub in my room (I prefer a walk-in shower) and my mattress was quite acceptable,  not a really hard mattress like Thai hotels often have. Again, I liked the hotel and the stay.

Beautiful pagoda. Can't leave suraththani without visiting this place. It's just next to the national museum.
