OK - the best hotel in town though not much by Western standards. Rooms are nice and spacious - especially F1 and F4 in the Wooden House by the pool - and clean, though beds are hard. Reception staff a bit variable, but cleaners and restaurant staff very pleasant, typical Thais. Swimming pool is nice, could do with more sunbeds however. We've stayed here 6 times now - we stayed in the family rooms first time (2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a lounge) which were great but too close to the chickens that kick off at 4am. The owner loves those bloody chickens!!

Food is poor. They try to make up for it with lots of rice! The service is very slow and the best company that you get are the mosquitoes! Should have turned around in the car park when I saw an empty restaurant. Tesco's food in the coupon area is better.

I give four stars not as in four stars hotel but four stars relative to its price. The lobby look like a normal classic old hotel the room looks nice possibly because it just got renovated but looks like they renovate their bed room but not the bathroom (why? I don’t know) At night there were some very disturbing smell from the out side that leak into the room (possibly someone burning some leaves or trash which seems to be common around there(unfortunately)) but it shouldn’t leak into the room Hotel staff were nice as normal.

Room is ok but the problems is about the bathroom where is so stinky and its easy to split on the floor.

Very clean and very reasonable, we were very happy with our room. Not too many amenities, but the price Is right. Breakfast was a bit small, but we were here during covid so there were not very many people. The staff went out of their way to please us. Dog friendly.

The place is just dead. Atmosphere, room, service. Not going to spend any more night here.

Bit soulless- massage place appears to have closed for ever and rooms have very little natural light. WiFi totally hopeless, although to be fair I didn’t complain and just used mobile data. On the bright side breakfast was good and particularly so the Thai options. There aren’t any obvious better options in Chaiyaphum and for a two night stay it suited us fine.

Thumbs up, cheap prices and very historic place.

Older hotel, not that great of value. Rooms are big, bathroom needs updating. Pool was empty.

Affordable, expansive, and past its prime, if it had one. The staff are lovely.

I’ve stayed here before - This is still the best hotel in town (I’ve stayed at most of them). The rooms have been updated, and are quite clean. The staff is friendly and exceptionally polite. The pool is open, and seems to get daily use (mostly kids playing). There are many good restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

The beds are old and hard. The pillows are dirty and need to clean or get new. The breakfast not very good everything is cold and should be kept hot. Chickens everywhere and poo poo on the tables. Not have lift and no staff to take bags to room. Only worthy of 2 star and not 5 star as promoted
