It’s a nice shop but it is simply to buy things. Learning about the cashews took about 3 minutes, trying cashews was maybe 5 minutes, and the remainder of the tour was being asked to buy things in the shop. Everything was tasty!

Cashews are one of Phuket's main exports, alongside rubber. This small factory allows free tours of the cashew packaging process, right from splitting it from its fruit to adding many flavors to it and selling canned cashews. It was great to see that many women are given opportunities to earn their livelihood here. On a good day, a woman will split ~10kg of cashews from their fruits and send it for refinement. These cashews are refined in machines and then, flavors are added to them. We can see the entire process here. They also have a store where they sell these cashew snacks. They come in salted, onion, tom yum, barbecue flavors and we get to sample all of them.

Tacky Stop for Tours. You will be lucky to see anyone actually cutting open the Cashews. You do get to try a decent amount of snacks. Very over priced.

Been here as a part of Phuket City Tour package. They were showing the tourists the process of yielding Cashews. They have different varieties of flavours of cashew nuts, and you can taste it before buying. The rates are reasonable compared to the market rate.

We did a tour. They told us about the cashew nuts. Then you could taste the different nuts. Many people bought nuts and the prices were reasonable.

It s not bad to visit if u have time. Usually it s included in the city tour packages. U learn about cashew nuts the way they are cultivated and then procedured. U have the chance to try all the possible flavors in the factory (sea weed , coconut flavored etc) and to buy them in the same place

Nice place for info about the cashew nut processing proces with the option to taste different variants. Apart from that a bigger focus on selling things cashews and souvenirs. Still doable and didn't feel like a bad tourist trap. You can stop here when travelling between 2 places but I wouldn't change my route only to visit this.

Are you nuts?! Nope it's just cashew-licious. Many different flavours of cashew and other snacks are being sold here. It's fun to see how the raw product looks like and how they split it. The lady behind the cashew splitter was so friendly and open. Love to see that. The price of the products are quite high and I figured out they sell them at the Phuket international airport as well. So in case you want to bring some back home...

Saw one girl cracking the nut/shell. Not much explanation nor more demonstration of the whole process. Then, I we were offered a tasting, but they had no raw, unsalted nuts 😕 Just another shill by the tour operator...

I think for buying direct here in Thailand We are not paying much less than you would anywhere else in the world. This is only about $0.10 per ounce cheaper then what you would pay out of the country Also. This is such a con that they even give you a little sticker to wear hto be sure they give money to the taxi driver for bringing you to this place and like others have stated you don't even see the manufacturing process. They just have it on a TV screen for you to watch but when you try to take a minute to watch it, they holler at you to walk over and do samples and if you're unlucky enough to be on a city tour, don't even get started at the duty free store. They get the same tip for taking you there as well

Went here as part of a Phuket city tour, but it was actually a good visit. The cashew nuts on offer are good quality and they let you taste the different flaours as well. I never usually buy anything from such tour visits, but this time ended up buying multiple products. The tom yum cashew nuts were very tasty.

They showed us only one lady that makes the cashew, by hand, and after 3 minutes they let us taste different flavors and buy them. Total waste of time.

A factory outlet for a cashew farm. There is a demonstration for cashew opening then a walk through for their products. There are cashews with different flavours and seasonings. There are also other products such as dried fruits, sesame bites and sweets.

Interesting, not amazing. You don’t choose to visit here, your your brings you here, but that’s ok, it’s 5 minutes if cashew explanation, and 10 minutes if shopping.

Just a cashew factory/shop to buy nuts and stuff not something I'd do again prefer to take photos of flowers outside

We bought a whole bunch of these nuts to take home, only for them to be delicious snacks for the duration of our stay in Phuket. The staff were friendly and were very happy for you to taste test anything we wanted.

It was interesting to see where cashews grow, what they look like and how they are harvested and prepared for consumption. Got to also try several samples of various different types e.g. wasabi, salted, sour cream etc.

😠 The street stalls of the evening market (which look like illegal trade) near the Villa Market block the pedestrian area and the passage to the ramp. How do you suggest people with carts or wheelchairs get to the parking lot?
