Good and nice place to stroll around and have fun. It's a very long walking place near the ghats of the river ganga. A very popular place in the Chandannagar area. Lots of movies and serial shootings happened here. Many places like Rabindra bhavan, etc are there. Many eateries are here which people can walk here and enjoy. Overall a good experience.

The Chandan Nagar strand is the most important and popular pathway in all of Chandan Nagar. The strand is built along the Ganges river, lined with trees and lights. The most important feature of the strand is that in addition to the stunning riverside view, the strand has numerous monuments and historical spots along the region, making it a complete days worth of visit. The area also has a lot of restaurants to make sure you don't go hungry. The Chandan nagar strand is celebrated as the most decorated strip of Ganges, in all it's course right from the Himalayas

Excellent place to just walk around, chat around, have a look at the Ganges sitting in one of those green benches. Chandannagar Strand is absolutely love. Toto Auto available from all parts of chandannagar to reach here. On the right hand side, major govt offices and institutions are all here.

A leisurely walk along the promenade will rejuvenate your mind or you may find solace in solitude sitting on one of those secluded benches sipping lemon tea. A nice place to visit whether you are alone or along with family and friends. However, the presence of a few hoodlums and lumpen elements, out to vent their frustration on young couples, can sometimes spoil all the fun.

The nicely decorated Bhagirathi River side road situated at Chandannagar is known as Chandannagar Strand. This is a popular place among teenagers and college goers. Many green coloured wooden chairs are placed there to sit and enjoy for a while and the whole area is nicely decorated with small and big trees so that the area remains cool even when the sun is above the head. The three head lights used here for lighting are a great piece of art and have cool designs.

Gentle breeze, romantic sunset... No need to say that it is a lovely place for an evening walk with your closed one. I could smell French heritage while walking down this road. This is a heritage site.

It's a beautiful place to hangout on the river bank. The place is usually quiet on weekdays except festivals. Neat and clean place. Full of greenery. There are several tea and food stalls there for a quick munch. Seperate sections are there for kids. Enough sitting area. Well maintained place in Chandannagar.
