Probably this was the only family restaurant that we had in our childhood days, hence decided to come here with my little nephew. I came first time after the renovation so full marks for the decor. To our surprise there were a lot of addition to the dishes but unfortunately not much for desserts, anyway no complaints for that. The food was great, no comments on quality and quantity.

Visited last week for lunch The place is nicely decorated and the staffs are maintaining covid guidelines. Food was good but the kebab felt slightly undercooked, everything else felt decent enough. We ordered: Murgh barbeque kebab Garlic naan Masala kulcha Chicken tikka masala Mixed fried rice Hot garlic chicken Sprite and a bottle of water was there on the table.

We(me and my wife) went to Royals on our wedding anniversary and they made it really special to us. A specially decorated table with an awesome candle light vive made it heavenly. Starting from parking the car till we leave the restaurant, in every step they make you feel special and periodically taking feedback on each services they offer. We got an amazing evering with them and I strongly recommend everyone to try them out specially their biriyani. We enjoyed every bit and it's now your turn. Thanks Royals

Food quality is good I loved it . Ambience is ..soo wonderful. Sitting area is too large staffs behaviour is adorable. U can visit here with ur family friends and children's. We get our order within 5 minutes, this is so amazing that they served the food in this short span of time . Cleanliness well maintained . 5 minutes Toto distance from Chandan Nagar Railway station and 5 minutes Toto distance from Chandan Nagar S.D.O office. What an impressive restaurant to visit in our own place Chandannagar. The interior decoration is too good and so is the menu. Lots of variety. Be it fish, chicken, mutton or veg, all options available. Great service too, very prompt and welcoming. Good staff. Will visit again.

It's the best restaurant for fine dining in the town. The wide range of food can amaze you. The taste of every item is really appreciable. The staffs here are so polite and service is up to the mark. You may feel it's overpriced but the experience would be worth it.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Half the menu was not available. Especially for Vegetarians there were only one or two dishes. So if you are looking for vegetarian food DO NOT DINE HERE. The mocktail GANDHARAJ BASIL MOHITO was really unpleasant to drink. It had an overpowering taste of basil and was very sweet with excess ice. The Paneer tikka was good. We had also ordered VEG NOODLES and MASALA KULTCHA , which were so bland and awful to eat that I didn't even bother clicking a picture.

Went there for the first time after their overhaul from Royal Biryani to Bongo Rosona. Menu has changed but the level of service still remains as good as before. We had Kasturi chicken Kebab, green salad and Mutton Biryani. Kebab was good, best part of which being the egg foam on top. As who has previously tasted their biryani, this time it was a little lackluster. A good place to visit with family for a complete course meal rather than a quick bite.

This was my 2nd tym visit to Royal Biriyani Ambience was as usual perfect 💯👍 Loved the Peas Pulao and Dum Mutton Biriyani bowl with Creamy Chicken Lababdar.. But was upset with the Starters - Drums of Heaven where the Flour/Batter was not in a perfect bind with the Chicken lollipop and hence the raw batter taste was ruining the overall Crispy n Tangyness of the Lollipop!!! Rest all was fine. All the staffs were very much helpful and polite including the security guard outside who gave the direction of the parking area with a sweet gesture... 😊😊

We went here during our visit to CGR for Jagadhatri Puja... Heard from many people that if you are visiting CGR this is best place to dine out and famous for biriyani... Likewise, even we chose this place for eating out... Once we went there was a waiting for around half an hour... We waited in the waiting lounge...though not very large but enough for 10-12 people to wait... Once in we were told to go to the first level... The restaurant was spic and span...same goes for the kitchen as well... We ordered for Special Mutton Biriyani and Chicken Butter Masala... Taste was good and less oily...the only concern was the meat peices...seems like the peices were given from end of the degh as the peices were lil overcooked... Also the price seemed to be overpriced given the location and the quantity... The price is similar to any biriyani chains in Kolkata... Washroom was also very clean...

Went on weekday. I think they are the best fine dining place you can get in Chandannagar. Value of food for price you pay is apt and so is the quantity they serve in plate. You might have to climb small steps to the 1st floor, so be ready for that. Staffs are courteous. The place is rightly located.

It is on the G. T Road, a few minutes away from the Chandannagar Strand. The ambience was nice. But taste of the biriyani little disappointed us. Taste was very poor and chickens of biriyani was not soft. Otherwise restaurant services were good.

Great food, good hospitality, good staff, neat and clean, a two storyed, the third floor is under decoration which is supposed to be a banquet hall and there is near about 150 seats in the hotel. Complementary dish is served before the main course. Transportation is easy and takes about 20 minutes from Chandannagar station . Overall the experience was good...

Everything is fine but be aware from receptionist. Today I was kind of mentally disturbed.The bill was of 556₹ and I gave him 600₹ and he returned 4₹.I agree that I should aware of the return but he also should be honest from his side.

However, the price is higher than our restaurants in Kolkata Ballygunge place. Even the quantity was found not satisfactory. We were proposed to start with “Apollo Fish” which was a bad choice EQUALS to chilly fish with tiny fish slice. Little disappointing !!! Hope you would honour the inputs and get better soon. Worst service ever I got in any restaurant. Tast of the food is worst and service, only one person was their who was manager, swiper, waiter etc. We have to wait for the food for more than 55 mints, still tast was worst, mutton was still hard to eat. And for every complaint, only one explanation, "covid 19". They should close the restaurant. Plz don't waste your money...

During this corona period their behaviour was horrible a d charged ₹100 as "serving fee"
