👍👍 Delicious food! I highly recommend to try the lamb in papillote, it comes with potatoes and roasted bell peppers and tomato and grilled feta cheese - a must for any foodie person! Stuffed vegetables and vine leafs also recommended. It’s a shame that they don’t accept card payments. The food and service was great here. We ate here twice during our vacation in Chania. The lamb with aubergine was one of the best dishes we every had. The house red wine came chilled - we liked it.

The food was so great we wanted to stay forever. Service is fantastic! Portions were excellent, and they could satisfy the hungeries' customers. I had lamb in olive oil, and my husband had Moussaka with Greek salad. At the end of the meal, we were treated with the best chocolate cake I ever had in my life. I should have asked for the recipe. We were also given an ice cream made from goat milk. Heaven.... Then, the owner treated us with famous ice chilled Greek Raki. Sooooo fabulous... Thank you so much. We will never forget such a great experience.

Omg the meals here were amazing. We ordered the rabbit in wine sauce with rice and the lamb with potatoes in the oven. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 The only one thing that was an inconvenience was that their card machine was down and we had to find an atm. They also had no menu, the meals were written on cardboard paper 🤣. Other than that the food was awesome!

Small restaurant serving traditional cuisine. It is more of a cafe for locals. It looks indispensable, but cozy. The waiter says what they have on the menu today and you choose. Serves quickly. The food is delicious. Average cost. It's okay)

One of the most delicious and authentic meals we had during our stay. The traditional salad and the goat were both phenomenal dishes. Must try!

Excellent place! Tasty dishes, nice staff, good prices. Very good musaka - one of the best. Good location - near the city center. Highly recommend the place

Extremely tasty Cretan home cooked food. Positioned in a lovely setting, away from the more crowded spots. Friendly staff too. I have the lamb stew which was tender and full of flavour.

Wow. I was in Chania for 8 days and came to this restaurant 3 times. Unfortunately I discovered this place too late or I would have been here every night. This place is a must if you're in Chania. Try the Moussaka! Even if you don't like eggplants... you need to try it! The menu changes daily and if something runs out don't worry too much about it. Everything on the menu is fantastic! Everything! The portions are very big, so try not to over eat. It's much harder than you think. Everything is made fresh! Bon appétit!

We went to this restaurant one year ago and it was good. 😋 It has flexible menus and we ordered octopus and some home made pork. The octopus is average, not very recommend. 🫣 But the pork was cooked very well, it was tender and juicy, with some sweet taste. Absolutely recommend. We got free raki and desserts after the lunch,🤔 and it's not very crowded during lunch period.

We had such a lovely dinner that we immediately decided to go again the next day. Nice atmosphere out of the noisy streets. They have different options dailyin a crafty menu (which I loved), traditional tasty dishes and great service at an affordable price.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We tried this restaurant on our first day. It was so good (nice food, good service, very reasonable price) that we decided immediately to reserve for another day. We tried lamb, rabbit, goat and moussaka, and of course some starters and home wine. My husband believe the lamb is the best in Greece, I think it’s parity to the previous one. I love the goat. We eat a lot of goat meat at home. So normally I’m picky about goat. All others are simply amazing.

Every day I have tried a new restaurant. This is the best of them. If you love food this is a must. Everything is fresh and handmade so you must not to be surprised that the waiter is reading you the menu from that day. The only regret I have is that I have discovered this the last day this year. See you next year for sure. Excellent!!! Perfect service.

I never do reviews but this restaurant absolutely deserves one. Authentic flavours, unique atmosphere and a lot of love in the dishes. A quality cuisine and professional and kind staff, here I perceived the Greek spirit. Here some photos of what I ate, I will be back soon!

Amazing place! The couple that runs this place is super nice, they have different menu everyday. The food was really good! Highly recommend!

Best meal we had in Chania! All of their products come from their farms, so everything is super fresh and homemade (from vegetables, to cheese and ice cream). We took a Greek salad and the best moussaka we ate in our trip to Crete. The guy was very kind and he offered us also the dessert (Amazing chocolate cake with ice cream) and the raki. The restaurant is very simple and it is focused on the quality of food, way better than all the other chic-looking touristic places. I am sad to not have discovered this restaurant earlier. Very recommended!!

As of the moment, we're currently having our SECOND bottle of Raki, AND, a SECOND serving of dessert, courtesy of the very nice waiter who decided that we deserve another bottle after we said their Raki was quite strong. The place is very cozy and chill. My husband ordered a rabbit in wine sauce, while I ordered a rabbit stew and both dishes were just *chef's kiss*. They gave us some sweet cake and ice cream together with our first bottle of Raki, which I might say, Crete has one of the best hospitality services in all our travels. Definitely recommend this place! If it seems that no one's eating here, don't be fooled, because the food and service is definitely wonderful. ❤️

Unfortunately it doesn't match at all the reviews he got. We went there because we thought we could find the typical greek cuisine, but the food was gross and the boureki (9€) my gf ordered was 100% frozen, because when it came at the table it was really tasteless, soggy and with an unpleasant aftertaste. The spicy meatballs were alright, even though I didn't digest them very well in the evening, and 14€ was probably a bit overpriced, for that plate, in my opinion. The only good and fresh thing was actually the "eggplant salad" (6.50€), very pleasant, unfortunately it is the only positive note. However, the waiter was nice, the service too, and he offered us ice cream for free. Also, another thing I hate, is that it was not possible to pay with card because yesterday the pos was not working. Idk if that's something that usually happens, but it happened to us. Overall I can't understand how this place has such high reviews, because unfortunately we didn't leave satisfied at all. I hope you can improve in the future!

This is a wonderful, family-run restaurant slightly out of the tourist part of the old town. It is run by a young and friendly couple and the menu is handwritten and changes daily. We went for the dakos, local cheese and pastichio; all were freshly made and delicious as well as being great value. The complimentary raki and dessert were also great.

My wife and I randomly came across this restaurant after walking for a long time around the tourist restaurants by the water, and looking for an old-skool restaurant, and we finally got lucky! This place is so old Skool just how we like it. Food is great as fresh and traditional, just like the people who work there. We were very impressed! Not many restaurants exist anymore like this place.

This is the most authentic Cretan food you will find in Chania! I stayed in Old town Chania for 8 days and repeatedly came back 3 times because it was THAT good! The menu changes daily and everything is fresh and picked from the chef’s family farm. The moussaka is a must try and the rabbit stew! Prices are inexpensive and the quality is through the roof! You’ll thank me later!

I‘m still sitting here at the restaurant writing this review and totally baffled on how amazing the food was. The waiter recommended me the braised pork shank with cretan cheese and without exaggeration, it was the best dish I‘ve had in Greece so far. Totally unexpected and an absolute hidden gem, highly recommended!!

Daily chef's menu, rabbit meat is highly recommended. Complimentary raki and ice cream. High quality lunch and fair prices in the city center

Very nice family restaurant with traditional food. It was our last day here and we can recommend it with great pleasure. A kind waiter welcomed us and told all the menu, we received additional sweets after the meal and raki for the digesting :) In two words it was delicious&cozy. You can meet the locals there what speaks for itself.

Small restaurant without menu, waiter tells you the dishes of the day. Good place to have a quick dinner, ambience is not the most cozy but the food is good! Big portions so don’t go to crazy on ordering food ;)

Cosy little place and feels like home food. They don't have a fixed menu but a fresh menu every day. Very reasonably priced and locals go here. Best cretan pie I had in Crete. Vegetarian friendly. They gave us complimentary dessert- goat milk banana icecream- which was the best icecream I've had in a long while!

Don't judge based on the look of this place! The best octopus I've ever had, with the chick pea mash it was amazing. Beef in tomato sauce with rice also 5 star worthy. Great service and top quality food, home cooked fresh daily.

👍👍 Nice and looks as new. There is a wide variety of food, pizza, pasta, Greek classics, eggs, burgers, ribs, etc. Nice view in the open kitchen and a very busy take away service but complete out of the sight from the guests. The Greek pizza was big, the pasta was tasty. And the bill was a surprise. L...

👍 Location is excellent, near the port, but secluded enough to not be in the main tourist paths, in the shade. They didn’t bring water to the table, something we got used to by default in Crete, so that was a bit disappointing. The service overall was good though, staff is responsive and accommodating...
