For a non-chain, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was relatively close to everything that you would want to walk to and the food selection around it wasn't all that bad. The little courtyard area was very nice and enjoyable to sit in. I only had two complaints. Number one - it was a Yankee breakfast in the morning. There are no bacon and eggs or any of that. Continental at best. The other was that the bathroom in the room was really too small. I had to squeeze between the toilet and the door just to get into the room. They need to change the doors on the bathroom to go out instead of into the bathroom. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was great. The parking was great and reasonable. Everything was very clean. I would recommend going back again but finding a different place to eat breakfast.

Great customer service. Added bonus was breakfast and early evening Wine tasting. Cant beat the location, easy quick walk to City Market. Forgot, the court yard is a bonus, nice place to chill, enjoyed the water fall and background music.

Unexpectedly awesome place. Location is perfect with a lot of bar and restaurants located nearby. The rooms were small and made for sleeping and bathroom. A 1st floor room opens out to the common area with tables and chairs which I really enjoyed. No concerns with safety or cleanliness. Will stay here if we return.

Definitely will stay here again! Absolutely cutest place to stay! Loved the character and story behind the place. Our room was absolutely perfect and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I thought it was odd to charge $20/day to park on property being the rooms were already around $300/night, but I guess it's not that uncommon. Wine & cheese hour was nice. Apps were good, but didn't have wines we liked. That was just a little extra though. The room is what made it fantastic! We had a king bed facing outward room.

Wine and cheese afternoon delight/ delicious continental breakfast/ late night cookies and milk .. fantastic! The people are wonderful .. And Julie when we checked out was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a girls weekend trip. It was the perfect spot to catch up and also see the historic downtown area by foot. We enjoyed having the beautiful courtyard area to sit and chat in for the in between times of coming and going. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast and wine/cheese hour were wonderful touches as well.

Great location for visiting all the sights in historic Charleston. There is a DASH shuttle stop steps way on Meeting Street and many attractions are within easy walking distance including the Charleston Market. Our first floor room was fine. Will definitely stay here again.

I think this is our favorite place that we stayed out of all of our hotels we stayed at on our vacation. It was walking distance to everywhere. A very cute place. Very clean. Very friendly staff also. I love the wine Happy hour also.

Wonderful Inn experience. The staff speaks when you enter and exit. There appears to be one gentleman who may not want to be there, IDK. Very easy to find and close to all the restaurants and shops. They serve wine and cheese, warm cookies in the evening and a continental breakfast in the morning. I would definitely return. The rooms were well kept and spacious. The atrium had a transparent net to cover the opening. Tables and chairs of you like to sit outside. A working elevator was easily accessible. I will definitely stay at this place again..
