This place is so close to being great but fails at very important things. The whole place is very clean and up to date. The vibe is nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Two very significant failings with the rooms. There was no microwave, so no heating something up for yourself. It has been decades since I've been in a room without a microwave, I didn't think any place doesn't provide that anymore. The air conditioner rattled so loudly that falling asleep was quite the challenge. It kinda covered up the screaming-for-hours-straight baby nextdoor, so what can you do. I came in by taxi and there is nowhere you can walk to get food at 3 am after being stranded at the CLT airport. So, chips and pop for "dinner." Then come morning I head down for breakfast, and in another first that I haven't seen in decades, there is nothing free. No fruit, no cereal, no muffin. So I order the $12 egg and bacon on ciabatta. Which I later found odd they made special note of the "ciabatta", as if they thought I was too stupid to recognize a smashed burger bun. I had to throw the bacon out because it was severely undercooked and tasted like burnt plastic. Truely amazing! It is such an insult for food to be that overpriced, and of such low quality. There is no better way to tell me you do not care about guests. Which is why this place is so mind blowing, that someone built such a beautiful hotel with great rooms that even have cool balconies, but I can't get fed right. Recalibrate this hotel for humans that need to eat regular meals and you'll have something.

The airport booked my stay because my flight was delayed. Descent just I had an outside patio where I could smoke but the screen door wouldn't open so I had to go outside. Very inconvenient. Plus there were strands of hair left in the tub

The rooms are small, but clean. No patio furniture to use to enjoy the room terraces. Nothing close enough to walk to. The on-site Bistro has weird hours and are closed during the middle of the day making it not very useful or convenient for guests. Very quiet at night.

One of the best we ever staid at. Management is excellent, rooms clean, and the people at the reception at check in were outstanding. It was a late afternoon, we were both jet lagged and just longed for a quiet room. They made sure we felt welcome and walked with us through different rooms to find a perfect fit, still with a smile on their face. Well done! When in Charlotte we will stay here again.

Stayed due to a flight cancelation. The room was adequate, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy-going and the staff were very kind.

I checked in here as my flight was delayed by 24 hours. There was no catering facilities or anything nearby. All that was available was a pizza delivery or chips and snacks from the lobby. Rooms were spacious and very clean. All the team were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin. I could hear the man next door snoring so loudly and talking the next morning. I was too tired to request a room change. Good value for money too

Had a nice visit over a weekend. It is not in walking distance to shopping or food but a quick drive. Pool is good and located in the courtyard in the middle. Water from the snack shop was way over priced at $6!

From the front desk to the room everything was perfect. Our room was on the first floor and opened right up to the pool. The room was clean and stocked. The beds were comfy and I liked being able to log into my own streaming services on the TV

A room was clean, pool was beautiful, and the hotel staff were very nice. They were short-staffed, so we skipped house cleaning one day. No big deal. Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, also no biggie for us personally.

Hotel room was nice and clean with fresh towels. The service was good. The bartender is not the best for making cocktails. They have Starbucks inside the hotel which was nice. Only issue was trucks being broken into while we were there. 3 or 4 trucks had windows broken out.

I have stayed at this Courtyard on 4 separate occasions. Every stay has been great. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Everything has worked properly and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am a business man in town. I travel quite a bit and when traveling expect certain normal conveniences that save time. Such as having a bartender acknowledge my presence for an order when I am the only person at the bar and standing in front of him. Also, i have apparently assumed some form of complementary continental breakfast is normal. Not so. This Courtyard only offers a slim, overpriced menu for breakfast. If all you want is a bed, stay here. If you are engaged in hectic activities for business and need convenience, go elsewhere.

Convenient locations, clean, friendly staff. - Warning - donโ€™t take room 116. The room is next to an entrance and an elevator - on a Saturday night the loud bang of the closing door will likely wake you up, and if your very unlucky, a disoriented guest may come knocking on your door thinking it is their room.

No microwave in the room. I cannot believe that! And no laundry supplies in the laundry room. You need to go to front desk to pay for them. Wifi is terrible in my room. Keep disconnecting.

I enjoyed my stay. I loved the room even though the coffee did not work.

Left my do not disturb sign on my door while I was at work (in town for business trip). Housekeeping came in my room anyways, made the bed ect ect. What if i was asleep/ showering inside the room and they just barged in anyways??

Awesome time at this Courtyard. Room was very clean and staff was great. Outdoor pool was the best, kids really enjoyed versus smaller indoor pools.

We checked in late, the receptionist wasnโ€™t the friendliest, key card didnโ€™t work to get on the side door so had to walk all the way back around to front to get new one, the shampoo and body wash was empty when I realized I was already in shower. The room was clean is my only good take out of staying there one night.

We had a Nice stay. There's an outdoor Pool and Rooms wBalconies that overlook the pool area. Room was spacious, Big TV, big beds, and a nice size Bathroom. It was very clean. ONLY downside is......IDK what happen to the continental breakfast..... we walked thru just to see what they had but Only the little restaurant was open. This was a Lovely stay and super convenient to EVERYTHING!! perfect location.

I went here for a staycation. This was horrible. When I got to the room there was a balcony chair outside the door for what reason I am unsure. So we had a room with a balcony and when I went out all the either rooms had chairs. I called down and ask could we have chairs. She stated there were no more and there was nothing she could do and there were no more rooms available. The reason I paid for a room with a balcony was to be able to sit outside and look at the pool. This did not happen. The rooms have no microwaves, refrigerator barely worked, and it was not up to my standards at all. You would think it being in South Park area you would get better than this. I should have went Upgown instead.

I have to say the staff were really good. I was shocked how good they were for a moderate level like the Courtyard. They should be employed at the Ritz. I used to work for 5 star resorts. I worked for the flagship Ritz.. And I own restaurants. I would stay there again for sure. The team was extremely effecient. Great ๐Ÿ‘ job!!!

Ease of check-in, prompt attention to needed items, and a comfortable room made for a pleasant stay. Great location near lots of restaurants and not too far from downtown.

Awesome staff. Comfortable hotel, but the restaurant has a very limited selection, nothing special. However, the staff is top notch. The young woman who served breakfast was working like a mad woman to server everyone and succeeding with a smile.

Had a great stay at this Marriott. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Shower was awesome. No USB ports for chargers but other than that, our stay was perfect. We had access outside from sliding doors and that allowed us to get to our vehicle fast for loading and unloading. Customer service here was top notch. There's a little Starbucks inside which is good if you can stand their coffee. The lobby was so nice! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Charlotte.
