Loved Moosehead grill in Charlotte. Had a chill vibe, great music and many TV’s to watch the game. We had 4 types of wings are they were so good- possibly the best I’ve had in CLT. We also had the onion rings and the 1/2 order of nachos. They were huge, we couldn’t believe that was a 1/2 order. The beer selection was solid too. Will definitely go back!

My favorite watering hole in Charlotte. It’s a dive. Property poured drinks, down to earth staff, great bar food. They mostly play jam band music which is the best. It has a lot of character. You have to get to know how this place operates so don’t judge it right away. I saw some comments about the servers not being friendly… they are it’s just in the Moosehead way.

Absolutely delicious wings! I highly recommend you get them blackened or buffalo or both. All the sauces are really really good, though. The Hoisin Poison really is the hottest sauce I've ever tried. I've tried the Philly as well and it's delicious and the fries are really crispy and tasty, too. Their buffalo shrimp is also very good. Service is usually solidly good. This is one of our go-to places in Charlotte.

Ordered the Baja Fish Taco, but it turned out to be more of a quesadilla than a taco. Regardless though, it was quite good. Fellow patron recommended the wings for my next visit; the bartender said if I get them blackened they’re fried, sauced, then grilled. Sounds pretty good, honestly. Bartender was cool, very friendly. I’ll return.

Really good wings, great flavor options and felt they were real sized chickens vs overly hormone, beefed up chicken wings. Always consistent quality. Great rooftop views too. They are often ready to have the best wings in Charlotte… Debatable but good. A tad too expensive though and I’d be just as full and pleased at another good wing spot too.

Onions rings are always on point. The ranch is homemade & the fried cheese is amazing. The chicken wings tossed in Bee Sting is my favorite.

The fried mozzarella was some of the best we've ever had. The namesake wings were good, but the PB&J wings were surprisingly amazing. The BBQ quesadilla was a standout. Service was a bit slow; they had two waitstaff covering everything inside and out, which meant for the bulk of the time we didn't see anyone, and then we'd see them both within minutes of each other, but they were friendly.

09/01/2023 Decided to treat myself and a friend. Drove 27 miles 1 way. Was told we have to order lunch from the board and could NOT order what we came for until after 3. Needless to say, we were pissed. We left. Down grade from 5 to 3. Initial Review - 5 Star Although worn, this place was clean, professional, welcoming, and friendly. The Service was 5 Star. The food was unique and delicious. Our table had the blackened wings, fries, onion rings, and the Reuban. ALL were delicious in their own way. The Blackened Wings.....wow...like I have never had (kind of a char on them). Fries....never had them either. Like a tempura breading. Outstanding. Onion Rings....while good, could use some work. The REUBAN!!!! 🤯 Best I have EVER had... and I've been around for a while...lol. The marbled bread is so thick, and it is toasted on the grill!!! The 'braised krout'. Amazing. The sauce and meat.....perfection. WE all look forward to going again. We all want to try something new, but we also want a repeat of what we had!!!! 👍👍

Neighborhood staple. This place oozes local coziness and authenticity. Come as you are vibes. What’s unique about Moosehead though compared to anywhere else on Montford is the incredible rooftop patio. Catch the sunset up there

If your looking for some amazing chicken wings, bar bites and fun atmosphere this local bar and grill is an absolute hit! Best chicken wings in 500 miles. Wonderful selection. Do not their blackened wings - they are epic. Also for those of you that like a little heat: try their killer bees - they did not disappoint. These wings deserve six stars. Stop wasting time reading get yourself some Moosehead - you will not regret it.

My oh my these are the BEST DAMN WINGS in town!! There is often a wait (we went on a Tuesday at 8pm), but the food and service is well worth it. The Blackened and Caribbean Jerk wings are fantastic, but the Bee Stings flavor, recommended by our wonderful server, Baker, are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The staff here is incredibly attentive, as multiple servers checked in on us throughout the dinner. Moosehead even served their food on mismatched Christmas plates, adding to the eclectic and homey vibe. A relaxed pub atmosphere, draft beer pitchers, a cozy rooftop, and the best wings you’ll ever have make Moosehead Grill one of my TOP recommendations in Charlotte.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been going for years and am so glad that any changes they've made (like the awesome rooftop sitting area!) have not influenced the quality of food, the ambience of the bar area, and the general vibe! Moosehead Grill was built in a previous Pizza Hut...and they still have the red plastic cups and the tell-tale windows to prove it! Great selection of beer and food! Uncle Donnie's blackened wings are the best! My partner who is from New England was impressed with the clam chowder! Can't wait until I'm visiting Charlotte again for another delicious meal!

Wings were DELICIOUS and the ranch was one of the best out there. Only criticism is the sweet potato tots. They could have been fried longer but other than that, everything was so good. I definitely need this again

Wow!!! I have got to be the pickiest wing eater on the PLANET! However, until this evening I’ve found the PERFECT wing spot for your mouth watering selves! Moosehead Grill, has the Chicken Clucking down to a masterful work of art! Uncle Donnie’s Famous Blackened wings, and the Chipotle BBQ wings are just smack your momma and take her slippers good! I always have to ask for my wings extra crispy. NOT HERE! They come out to the table at the perfect temp as well as the perfect texture! No live wings flapping at your table! The flavors on both of these are absolutely SUPERB! Dare I say the Chipotle BBQ reminds me of some true authentic Buffalo style flavor! The slight grill and char are to die for! I’m glad I took the drive to come out here! This is definitely a twice a month watering hole and eatery! If the wings are this good I’m sure the care and love in their other food is just as AMAZING!!! To all my wing heads, “ Get to the Moose!”

I'm a fan. I was craving wings, and wanted to try a different place. Our family had takeout, and all of us were satisfied. Delicious, good portions, fair prices, friendly staff. The place was PACKED. we'll be back.

You went to this place at 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was busy. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. Duh sweet potato tots was delicious the mazzarella cheese sticks was different but they was good as well and they had pepper. Jack cheese sticks. They made different but people should try it everybody love their food. It was enough to take home

Good service and atmosphere, the wings are great , had the beesting and the Uncle Donnie's Famous Blackened Wings , I've liked the blackened Wings more , I've also had the Nacho's with pulled pork, the portion is huge even for the half plate , pretty good as well and good selection of beer on tap

Being from Maine I had to check this place out last week while I was in town. What a great vibe in here! The place was packed and the service never skipped a beat! I was lucky enough to randomly pull up a bar stool next to the owner. "we are known for the wings" was a comment he made to me as he was leaving after some conversation. And this is rightfully so, they were spot on! Definitely worth checking out, even if your not from the great north!
